Noah’s Event Venue

We held a team offsite in the Billiard and Game room. We had 12 people in attendance. Upon arrival the room was ready to go with the whiteboard, markers and seating I requested. There was a countertop to put snacks and a small refrigerator to put drinks.
The room layout was great to plug laptops into a very large TV, wifi, large walls for post it note brainstorming etc.
Also great location right off I-​15.
We plan on doing offsite meetings there again.

This is a pretty cool event center! I was here for a work conference, but I’d imagine it would be beautiful for weddings and other events too!
Downside:
1) parking — we filled up the parking so fast and cars were lined up and down the streets. Granted this was a big event, but still.
2) wifi. Again, this was a big event but the wifi kept kicking me off all day. Inconvenient!
Upside:
1) great space. Beautiful. Spacious. Multiple rooms. Multiple floors.
2) location. Close to I-​15, but *slightly remote* so you don’t have to deal with a ton of other business and traffic.
We didn’t use the game room, but it was nice having multiple rooms with multiple floors for breakout space. All in all, I thought the space was okay for the event I went to! I would have to consider a my-​wifi if I was coming back though.

Noah’s Event Venue was perfect for our small company 2016 Kickoff Meeting. We had about 15 people for half the day. We reserved the wally ball court, game room, and small conference room. The wally ball court was a blast, and the game room provided a nice place to take breaks from a day of meetings. Staff was very helpful in getting set up. The AV systems were great and worked flawlessly. We will be returning for another meeting in the future.

Very nice facility, aesthetically. If you need power for stuff, it will be a chore, but let’s be frank for a second. This place is primarily for weddings, so if you’re having one there, great facility. Floor has a bit of bounce to it, which is a good touch and the amenity rooms are very nicely set up as well. Nothing too distinguishing here, though the back patio area is pretty solid. I’d say this is on the slight higher end of things, but I’ve seen both better and worse… all in all, an ok choice here.

My overall experience at Noahs has been a huge disappointment. There were many things that went wrong. This is a lengthy review however it is a very worthwhile one to read over to help you on your decision on selecting the Noahs venue.
My wife and I met with a lady at the venue prior to our wedding date to complete my layout of the wedding in regards to the specifics such as where the tables where going to be placed and what linens we wanted to use. We picked out our two theme colors to use from their sample colors they showed us. The lady responded back that we chose very cute colors.
I sent an email to Noahs shortly after my wedding to bring up the concerns of what happened at the wedding. I didn’t receive a response back from anyone until a week and a half later when I called the Noahs’ Customer Service to follow up with the email I was sent previously. I later received a call from the building manager that same day and she left me a voicemail. She never apologized that it took her over a week and a half to respond back.
The building manager emailed me back and informed me that they confirm prior to the date of the wedding of what linens are picked out. This was never the case with us as she described. They never followed up to double check what linens were selected. The manager insisted it was my fault that I didn’t address all of the concerns the night of the wedding. First of all the staff at the building never asked my wife or me how things were going throughout the night. They were only available when I requested help to setup the wedding slideshow at the beginning of our wedding. Other than that, my wife and I never saw them for the rest of the night. The manager claimed her staff check with us and the guests on how things were going. If they are going to check up on things, I believe they should have check with the bride and groom instead of our guests since we were the ones running the wedding.
We had one of bridesmaid track down one of the staff members to ask why the proper linen colors weren’t on the tables. She was told her that the linens were never written down and ordered. Are you serious? How could they have forgotten one of the more important things of the wedding? This was unbelievable that they messed up so bad.
Another complaint we had was that when we came earlier this year to look at the venue we were never told that how hot the venue would be as a concern when we were choosing between the 1^st or 3^rd floor to hold our wedding reception. We realized the 3^rd floor had opened areas that looked like windows. We were told the fans would keep cool down the room. When we got to the venue on the day of the wedding, the fans in the 3^rd floor barely even cooled down the temperature in the room since they weren’t strong enough to drop the temperature to a comfortable level.
I looked up the temperature on my phone to see how truly hot it was on the wedding night. The temperature was 95 degrees outside around 5pm. Later the temperature dropped to about 86 degree by 10pm. The inside of the venue wasn’t that much cooler from the outside. Many of my guest complained about how hot they were. They were sweating a lot and felt uncomfortable throughout the night.
Some of the chairs to the various tables in the venue were old and had a lot of black spots on the seat cushion. I tried to wipe off the chairs however it didn’t come off. I couldn’t believe Noahs had chairs like these. Presentation is everything on the night of a wedding.
Two and a half weeks went by and I never received an email response back from the building manager. I sent another follow up email to see what was going on. The building manager stated she didn’t respond back to my email I sent because I didn’t give her any suggestions on what to do. I couldn’t believe that was the attitude she was giving me. Why wouldn’t she send another email back to acknowledge my second email I sent to her? She clearly didn’t take my complaints seriously. Why do I need to tell her how to do her own job and provide her suggestions? I believe it is her job to come up with the resolution for the various complaints.
On every email the manager sent, she would keep repeating that we should have address the concerns during the wedding. She put the blame on me that it was my fault for all the failures of what happened in the night. We did have someone find someone to ask about the incorrect linens. She told me I should have asked her staff to switch out the various chairs. If a venue has high quality standards then they wouldn’t have used chairs that were old that had various black spots on their white chairs.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this venue for anyone doing an event especially a wedding. The customer service and quality of the venue isn’t up to par to other wedding venues in Utah. Their lack for a timely response to a complaint email is very poor. Even though this venue is less expensive than others, you definitely get what you pay for.

Our company hosted a «Lunch & Learn» seminar for our customers at this venue. We used their «Theater/​Classroom» which easily seats 24 people in rows of 6 classroom-​style with a sloping theater floor so that everyone can see the presenter at the front of the room. The back of the room has a kitchen & counter area with microwave and mini fridge. The ample counter space was great for accommodating our outside-​catered lunch.
The staff at the venue were very pleasant to deal with and helpful during the planning process, allowing us to visit the room twice prior to our event to check the space, hook-​up the presenter’s laptop computer & test out the link to the projector & screen, WiFi etc. They also suggested and provided a microphone & speaker & two large tubs filled with ice for the bottled water and cans of soda we had on hand for our guests. On the day of the event the room was very clean and nicely setup in advance of our arrival with Noah’s notepads and pens at each of the seating positions — a nice «extra touch».
We would highly recommend this venue and will certainly use it again when hosting a seminar where the group size outstrips what our own conference room can accommodate.

We hosted a Thanksgiving luncheon for our employees. Guest count was approximately 200 and Noah’s handled everything perfectly.

Had a surprise party for my husband there. I’m from out of town and rented the space without seeing it (actual room photos would have been very helpful). They were very accommodating to my funky schedule of dodging my husband the day of the party and let me in a bit early to decorate so I could keep the party a surprise. The space is beautiful, if out of the way and a little hard to find.
I’m impressed that the price included furniture and linens as well as the use of audio/​visual equipment. In Seattle, where I live, I’d be charged to rent the space and then so much for every chair, table and linen I needed.
Even though I don’t live in Utah, I have lots of friends and family there and I will recommend Noah’s to them for their event needs!

VERY affordable, convenient location (close to freeway exit), I could completely book and pay for the space online, which is great, because I hate calling, and they even have live chat. All we had to do was tie up our garbage bags. Already booked another event there.

I’ve come to several events here throughout the years, and had experienced everything from my old company renting out an entire floor to most recently a baby shower in one of the smaller rooms.
It’s nice, you really can’t go wrong with any of their spaces and they have one to fit just about every occasion. By far my favorite was ice skating on the outdoor balcony in the wintertime.
It’s in kind of a weird location and can be confusing to get to, and it’s in the south valley so keep that in mind. It can be a little bit of a drive coming from the downtown area.

We hosted a Technology Event for our customers. We had the billiards and executive room (301) and it is always a great experience at Noah’s. The building was packed that day and the only problem we had was WiFi internet. They told us that they already have a network upgrade on the calendar. We also recorded two customer testimonial videos in the same room after our event. The staff is exceptionally helpful and polite. We will continue to use Noah’s for events in Utah.

Rented out their main hall and a brides room and a grooms room for 12 hours. We originally rented out the smaller rooms for 6 hours, but they let us extend both rooms for the price of one. Along with that, we did some of their packages and they waived the fee for our lantern backdrop. That was really nice of them to do so. The venue is beautiful and occupies a lot of people.
The venue does get pricey though since they don’t offer catering, cakes, etc like other places. But overall, I really enjoyed their services.

We had our last weekend at Noah’s in the main hall. The venue was beautiful we all loved it and had a great time. I have a few complaints about my experience while planning my wedding there, and the day of. I first came to look at the space and got all information on seating, layout, and prices. They first gave me a seating capacity of 300 guest. I was already sold because I’ve been having a hard time finding venues that fit that many people. When it was time to do my layout a few weeks before the wedding day, the number changed to 220 – 230. I had already sent out all my invitations, and had to un-​invite some guests to accommodate their seating. That was very frustrating!
Another complaint was about the layout management. The girl that organized the whole thing was supposed to have the projector ready for us on the wedding day. When it came time to show our video on the screen the woman stated she didn’t have that on her order form. We couldn’t even bring the projector down because of the drapes on the ceiling. They had to wheel out a 60″ flat screen on a cart to show our video while we did our first dance! It was not very elegant at all!
Anyway, good stars for nice venue, but low stars for bad organization!

I have been hosting business events at South Jordan Noah’s for the past couple years and the staff is great to work with! The online reservation is easy to navigate. I highly recommend having your next event at Noah’s! They are top notch in the event rental industry.

Noah’s is the place I continue to go back to for our company’s business events to our daughters 16^th birthday party. You can’t beat the service, and everything that is included with the cost of your room. The rooms are in great condition, I know for a fact they just refinished all the wood floors. Here is where they differ from most venue rentals: at Noah’s all the linens, tables, chairs, audio visual, wifi is included. They give you a nice ice stand for your drinks and best of all you can use any catering service you want — unlike most place that have their preferred vendor list.
Noah’s makes it easy. And the staff is so friendly and helpful.
That is why I will continue to go back to them time and time again.

Our 60^th birthday party experience at Noah’s in South Jordan could not have been any better. The Noah’s staff, specifically Jamie and Emily, went above and beyond for us in many ways. The facility is conveniently located near the freeway, the game room, board room and Wallyball court was clean and all of the video and sound equipment worked perfectly. We could not have been more pleased.

We use Noah’s regularly for corporate events. I’ve booked everything from meetings with only 5 people to corporate parties with 300+ at Noah’s. I find their people very easy to work with and accomidationg. I love the fact that they include your chairs, tables, simple linens, ice, audio, visual etc as part of your rental costs. So many event centers charge individually for every little tiny thing which becomes stressful when you are working on a budget. I know exactly what my price is going to be when working with Noah’s. I also love the varity of room types. I’ll continue using Noah’s in the future for both my business and personal bookings and often recommend them to folks looking for event/​meeting space.

It’s surprising all the things that they can pack into one space. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a venue that offers a theater, a big ballroom-​esque space, and a walleyball court. But it’s impressive!
Firstly, the building is nice. It’s less than 5 years old, so it’s still got some shine. Located on the west side of I-​15 between the 106^th and 114^th South exits, it’s a little out of the way for. well. everyone. Not much around that area unless you count WalMart, and you may pass it once before arriving. I missed the one and only turn that leads to the parking lot, and had to go up and flip the old you-​ee.
Once there, it’s really a nice facility. Note that because it is a large facility you may have multiple events going on there. For me, it wasn’t an issue because the wedding I attended was about the only game in town in the building. But if there had been other things it could have gotten awkward. There are signs at the entrance pointing you to the right place, though.
For being a big ol’ building, it has some nice touches. It’s well-​decorated, has a patio, an upper balcony, gorgeous wooden staircase, and is wired up for technology. Slide show? No prob. Giant screen projection on the back of the walleyball court? You betcha.
You can look at the location as remote – or perhaps just consider it as a dedicated oasis from distractions. The staff seemed willing to work to plan whatever kind of event or meet whatever need you might have, and the food was quite good. At least. I think it was their in-​house food & catering. At any rate, they do have the facilities there.
Nice space. It was a terrific and gorgeous wedding. Stuff like this doesn’t come cheap, and you really have to watch those extra charges. They’re upfront about that, but it adds up quick. Then again, beautiful events aren’t free!

Last December I was put in charge of my company’s holiday party. I choose Noah’s because it was centrally located based on where my co-​workers live, it was a great space, and many amenities were included like table clothes, mic and projector, etc. Overall Noah’s was great to worth with and a fantastic venue for our party.
On the negative side some of the staff who helped us plan our event were not very friendly. One girl in particular was rather rude about a few things we requested. For example, the table clothes provided were very wrinkled and when I asked if they could do something about it, she flippantly responded, «You can do it yourself!» Considering how much we spent to host our event at Noah’s I would have expected a little nicer answer.
Another thing that bothered us was the cost for centerpieces. Although many things were included with our room rental, centerpieces were not. Even for a basic centerpiece Noah’s wanted to change us a considerable amount. In the end we were able to work out a small discount, but I still felt like they were nickle and dime-​ing us.
If you are looking to book an event at Noah’s there are some definite positive things to consider. Unlike a lot of other venues…
1. You can use your catering company and bartender. For no extra fee.
2. You can use your DJ or band. For no extra fee.
3. You can provide your own decorations and centerpieces.
4. Tables, chairs, projector, mic, and so on are included with your rental for no extra charge.
Basically Noah’s will let you do whatever you want so long as its not illegal.
On the negative side you should consider:
1. Noah’s charges a lot of extras like centerpieces.
2. One of the biggest things to consider is how intimate and personal do you want your event? Because Noah’s has space for several events there may be three or four other events going on during your event. For something like a company party I didn’t feel like this mattered. But for something like a wedding or wedding reception having other events and tons of strange people around may not what you want. If you want an intimate, personal wedding reception or party Noah’s is probably not the venue for you.

I attended a wedding at Noah’s and it was A-​OK.
The place has the look and feel of an office building, rather than a reception center.
But, it’s clean and nice and new. Noah’s is well decorated, comfortable and very spacious.
They have lots of rooms to choose from, so it looks like they can accommadate any size event.
