Burger Stop

I was here a few days ago for quick food before we left Lake Tahoe and back home. I was going to go to Taco Bell (which is in the same lot) and my boyfriend said «well I’m gonna go here» sounded appealing so I went too. BEST CHOICE I MADE! The burger was delicious! The customer service was great. Very friendly. However if you’re in a hurry don’t go here, we wanted something quick just to avoid traffic, but the wait so worth it! Everything tasted fresh! Next time we’re in town, were probably going to stop by again!

Ate at the Burger Stop, a little place only about 7 months old. Had the best burger ever! I had the Buffalo Horns with sundries tomato. Still full after several hours.
Lots of unique choices; also caters to vegetarians!
People were friendly and efficient. Sauces are all homemade. If you want an excellent, unique, meal; stop in to the Burger Stop! Ask for Bradley!

I decided to go there because I had a coupon. The young man at the register was a big help on helping me choose what to get. A cheeseburger for me and a regular burger for my son, both with fries. Also I decided to get a side of Ranch dressing for the fries, because he assured me it was homemade. He didn’t tell me ahead of time there was an additional .50 charge for the Ranch… and added the cost onto my bill. Whatever, I thought, I will remember this for next time.
I got the order to go, and when I got home, with my additional .50 charge, low and behold, NO RANCH! hmmmmmm
The burgers… were just ok. Nothing to go back for, not even for the Ranch, lol. The burgers did NOT taste fresh, and the lettuce tasted old and had that «bagged» lettuce taste. We won’t go back… at least I had the coupon, cause I would have had a fit if I would have paid almost $ 20 for 2 hamburgers.

My family and out of town guests stopped here for a bite to eat after a busy morning. We ordered a lot of food including many burgers, onion rings, sweet potato fries and drinks. Our total ended up being around $ 70. The onion rings and fries were fantastic. I really enjoyed my simple burger (cheese and bacon) but appreciated the wide variety that they offered. The staff weren’t anything good or bad and overall we had a pleasant lunch. The reason I give it two stars though is because I noticed my son’s burger after he tried to tell us that he was full– it was fairly pink inside. Not medium, but much more rare did hamburger meat than I’d dare feed him. I told him he didn’t need to finish it. We were on a tight schedule so didn’t bother asking for another burger. Later that evening around 7pm, my husband ended up getting food poisoned and couldn’t eat at the buffet that he was looking forward to eating at. The only thing he had eaten that entire day was his burger.
I do believe that they need to insert thermometers into their food and make CERTAIN it’s cooked correctly. Had my children, myself or our out of town guests (including my pregnant sister) gotten sick, it would’ve been a disaster. Photo of my son’s burger vs mine in uploaded.

Today we ordered three hot dogs and one child’s burger. The food took 30 minutes, the fries were cold, the pasta salad inedible and the hot dogs were average at best. We requested no onions but found them on the children’s burger. We will not be returning and are long time locals.
I recommend going next door or visiting the outdoor hot dog stand in Meyers and leaving this place to those poor souls who are unfortunate enough to stop by.

Good burger. Little expensive but tasty. Recommend calling in the order as it takes a little while if you at the counter. Will continue to frequent as it is probably the best burger in Tahoe.

Been here three times, decent burger, but won’t return. Staff lacks care, takes 20 – 30 minutes to get a ¼lb burger (typically 5−7minutes most places) whether you are the only one in there or a couple people in line (has never really been busy when i go). They charge too much originally then charge an extra 50 cents for everything. Pasta salad and fries both taste like elementary school lunch. Eek! Methinks not.

Food was good, but everything was 3 dollars overpriced… would have gotten four stars if it wasn’t 15 bucks for a 9 dollar meal.

Says they are open until 8pm yet they stop serving at 7:35pm. I guess this business isn’t into making money!

as a Lake Tahoe local I rate this new burger joint five stars! Burgers come with a choice of ethier friends or pasta salad! with great prices. Would really recommend to all my friends. By Far one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. Will come back! Keep it up!

Took the fam here passing through Tahoe going South. Food was bland, staff was unprofessional. Fries and burgers had no flavor.
I wouldn’t stop at Burger Stop.

I got the bacon cheese stop and i didnt regret it. The burger was grilled to prefection, not too dry and flavorful. The burger has a thousand island dressing and cheese that has a good flavor. You get the choice of either fries or pasta. The fries were good, nothing bad about them. The workers smiled and made you feel welcome. ill be going here When I’m back in town… ill definitely eat here again.
