Raley’s

Currently filling up at the gas station, nice option to grab a car wash too. The actual grocery store is great-​super clean, friendly staff, tons of specialty items on the end caps that cater to tourist/​campers (s’mores, alcohol, picnic foods, water toys). We are consistently happy shopping here. Minus the parking lot, which is small and awkward, but ain’t no thang!

It’s obvious Raley’s Corporate offices have a new philosophy. And it’s greedy.
They change up where things are on regular basis. Why? To keep you searching longer. I guess they think we are idiots and we will just meander along an pick up more stuff!
Crackers and bar soap. Should be easy right. Not even clerk up front knows! It’s changing constantly.
Product manipulation. POM Pomegranate is a first rate product. The best. It’s never on shelf except in small very expensive size. But Bolthouse Farms Pomegranate is
Always on shelf! I would bet this is a Raley’s brand.
Deli. First stop pushing your brand. I like Columbus. Second you eliminated every
Healthy salad item. Agin greed. Way cheaper to make Potato Salad vs a healthy blends you carried up until a few weeks ago? Your even putting more bread in your meat loaf!!!
You blew it with me. Never thought I would be mad enough to write this but I am. It’s obvious you have some new Corporate Yahoo trying to make a name for himself at you customers expense.

Cathy is the best Manager ever and this Raleys is the bomb I recommend going here the customer service is great

I like raleys!!! Little more expensive than other grocery stores in tahoe so I never do my big shopping trips here.

Don’t forget your bags! This reminded me of a higher end grocery store like Whole Foods considering it has a hot food section!
And Peet ‘s Coffee and seating inside in the far corner.
Bathroom is in the back center of the store.
Well labeled aisles.
Self checkout is convenient but you gotta buy your alcohol at an actual register so they can check your ID.

Jonathan, cashier, didn’t say hello, didn’t tell me my total, handed me the receipt but didn’t say have a nice day… didn’t say a word, not a single word, to me thru out the whole transaction, but chatted up a storm with the lady in front of me abt rewards program and how it works and where she lives, and ya da ya da… but why didn’t he ask ME abt the rewards program? How abt a hey how r u? Even if he didn’t care abt my day! Customer Service is no Bueno here!

Poor costumer relationship and I never go back to do my grocery shopping. I asked a crew (she looked like a manager) how I can find spinach and she just said I can’t see from here! Go check out the produce section! I was like good luck with that!! I’m sorry is there anyone who could help me out?! And finally after 10mins someone showed up. The quality of steak I bought was good tho so one star for that !:)

I would like for the owners to contact me and talk to me about Mike the manager. I have a few things that I think they should know about how he is running the place and how he talks to people. Please contact me ASAP. I will be writing a letter as well. Born and raised here and have NEVER come across such an unprofessional person in my life. Raleys. I come to you 5 – 6 days a week at the least and have always liked you. Until now. I will never shop there again and will never recommend this grocery store to anyone. I will tell ever single person I know here about mike the manager.

Problems on an ordered birthday cake for the third time in a row… wrong icing, wrong filling, now not ready or even started when it was due… no color on it and it’s for my 10 year olds birthday… the assistant manager did not charge us for it but I would not have paid for it anyway… my daughter picked it up or I would not have accepted it

For such a busy store I was surprised how well kept it was. We came in for a items we forgot to bring and found it so easy to navigate in and out of the store. The meats looked fresh, most of the bagged potato chips weren’t popped, and checking out was fast. Good job Raley’s!

I liked this place! Great options, a great flower selection, and fresh and varied options. The employees were friendly, and it was located very conveniently.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms, well-​stocked convenience store.
If you’re heading home from Tahoe, this is a great place to stop for gas.

Super big!!! Super Huge!!! Super Awesome!!!
This store is major ginourmously BIG. It was about a 1 year or 2 years ago when they did a major remodel at this store. My parents have a cabin in the local area, so, when we want to stock up on groceries, we always come here. They have a great natural foods selection. I’m also unaware of if there is a T.J.‘s anywhere near by, I don’t think there is.
Basically, this grocery store has just about anything you could think of that one would need.

I have to say A+ for the store management and clerks here. Came here several times but the last time was to buy a bunch of food for a cabin weekend. The cashier was friendly, and fast. Not only that, she insisted on trying to correct a price tag difference that was significantly wrong even though I kept telling her I didn’t care that much.
She escalated to her manager, and eventually they realized that I was not crazy, and it really was a $ 36 bottle of wine marked as $ 10.82. On hindsight I feel like I should have bought a case (ha!) but really loved that they insisted on correcting the wrong.
This place is relatively well stocked and has just about everything. Great for weekend cookouts!

Big thank you to Raley’s for selling limited choice of groceries during today’s power outage. Most of other stores were just simply closed.

This was a quick pit stop between my start point and final destination. Parking was easy. Lot was easy to navigate. Plenty of fuel pumps.

Peet’s Coffee inside the Raleys… This has got to be the largest Raley’s I have been to or seen. This place had everything including a full size Peets Coffee.
The isles were large and clean, the staff was helpful and the bathrooms were clean. The parking lot can be a bit tight especially with a Kmart or Walmart next door but overall it was fine.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon after a weekend of well spent time with some of the coolest friends ever, we came across Raley’s. I was starving so I went over to the Deli area and had my eyes on the BBQ Tri-​Tip panini.
After the process of microwaving the meat and making the panini crispy, I devoured the whole thing! The bread was perfect. The Tri-​tip mixed with BBQ was perfect. The sauce inside the bread had a perfect balance of sweetness and not too sugary. The sandwich was just amazing.
Not only was the sandwich amazing, but Charlene had the best customer service ever. She was very friendly and genuine! A+++ for customer service at the Deli from Charlene.
My experience with Peet’s coffee wasn’t good. At all. I didn’t get her name, but she gave me the wrong size medium drink and charged me for a large. When I went back and asked her if the size she gave me was a large, she said no it was a medium. I knew that I ordered a large at first, but I didn’t notice that she charged us for a large and gave us a medium until I left. I thought she just charged us for a medium. My mistake.
Also when asked about the concentration of sweetness of the vanilla matcha green tea latte, the barista gave me a look like I offended her or something. I understand that everyone isn’t always happy while working, but at least pretend to smile for your customers. I too, am a barista and I completely understand. But mugging your customer down isn’t a good look. Customer service at Peet’s: F. Nonetheless the drink was pretty good. But not as good as Starbucks.
All in all, I would definitely visit Raley’s again when I’m up in South Lake Tahoe. Definitely coming back for the panini!

Oh Raley’s, you are so big, so absolutely huge! Gosh all the other Raley’s are really really impressed I can tell you…
Seriously though, this one has just about everything. It’s perfect for shopping for your vacation week or weekend. If this place doesn’t have it, you don’t need it. Deli, bakery, produce, grill essentials it was all good. Peets right next door to pick you up after your food foraging trek!
Really busy parking lot. Has a gas station, good prices.
