This Chevron gas station is our normal go to in order to fill up before heading back home to Sacramento. We were here again this past week during Thanksgiving in South Lake Tahoe. The overall station is huge and inside is pretty clean. Gas prices weren’t too bad; we paid $ 3.19 a gallon for premium gas which was only about $ 0.10 more than what we paid when we left Sacramento. They have a huge selection in terms of snacks and drinks so you won’t be disappointed. While the hubby was filling up I grabbed a bunch of water, Red Bull energy drinks, and beef jerky to enjoy on our ride home. Will definitely be coming back here again when we’re heading home from SLT.

RIPOFF! Save $ 0.40 — $ 0.80 a gallon if you drive ½ mile west or 1 mile east. They must really enjoy stealing tourists’ money. On the day i wrote this it was $ 3.59/gallon at this Chevron and right down the road found gas for $ 2.89/gallon. Diesel was an entire $ 1 cheaper.

Pretty big gas station at a good location when leaving Lake Tahoe. We didn’t have to wait in line to gas up and we were out of there quickly. Nothing bad to report and the price per gallon was not out of the ordinary for other cities around the area.

One a few gas stations near the east side of south Lake Tahoe. Open 24 hours with little store for midnight snacks!

Easy to access ATM. Gnarly $ 3 fee to take money out… dunno. Maybe this is standard these days, but I’m used to getting money at the bank where it’s free to withdraw. Plenty of pumps, still a bit of a hassle during the weekends or «rush hours» to get gas as they are in a prime spot on Hwy 50.
