It’s no longer there! I went to this coffee shop 25 years ago when I was last in Tahoe and purchased a coffee mug there that said«Espresso Yourself». While driving through again, I thought it would be fun to stop in after seeing it listed on Unilocal.I found the center was completely renovated and Hot Gossip was no longer there.

Place smells gross, wifi didn’t work, coaches looked like they were from the 70’s and were dirty, coffee wasn’t that good. Won’t be back

Was on our way up to Heavenly from the cabin and was looking to get a caffeine fix and some breakfast food. As we turned on to Ski Run Blvd. there was an Espresso sign so thought we would give it a try rather than spending $ 20 at Heavenly. Its a tiny place in the strip mall on the corner and although it was kind of scary and seedy looking upon first glance, it turned out to have some nice bagels, croissants, and breakfast items. I think they specialize in espresso because they didn’t have any decaf coffee and the regular coffee looked like farmers or some no name brand, but the bagel and ambiance made up for the crummy coffee. They have internet access and paintings for sale on the wall, and it seems that they are into the whole organic thing and most items are made on site.
