I went to Imagine salon to have my hair revamped & I have never walked out of a salon feeling or looking as good as I did the other day. Amanda Boling is incredible. Very understanding as to how I want my hair. She makes me feel like a new person every time! I am so satisfied with how my hair always turns out when she’s done with it! She’s the only person I trust to do my hair & I know it’ll always look amazing after I go get my hair done. WOW.. Thanks again Amanda!

I got a hair make-​over by Cree; she totally took care of me. I am very thankful for her patience and artistic skill. I loved the ambience of the salon and everyone was super nice.

Really in love with this salon. Everyone here is so nice, pleasant, out-​going and friendly. I’m unfortunately so used to going into salons and having all the other stylish so into themselves (clients). This is such a great open salon, lots of light and great view (trees behind the parking lot, lol). My stylist was Tali, (also corresponded with Amanda a view times to set up my appointment, she was so awesome, helpful and friendly.) Tali, did a great job, I brought in extensions and she colored my hair, install the tapein extensions and blended it faultlessly. I will be coming here again!

My sister and I walked in and Kelly and Cree took very good care of us. Cree was helpful with the products. My hair was smooth and still had volume. I felt like Kelly really listened to me which is hard to find. Wish we could come back every time but next time were in town we will be back. Great service, reasonable prices, and laughed a lot. Those two are way to funny.

Sara Bullard-​Brown is an excellent colorist! I’ve decided to let my «real» color come in, and she had great ideas on how we could do a transition by adding lighter highlights. My hair looks fabulous, and numerous people have mentioned what a great job she did. I’ve already referred friends to her.

I walked in once into this place and turned right around when they said that a simple trim for men was $ 35.00 thats so outrageous. I never thought of going back, the staff did seem nice. But for a men hair cut $ 35 is just to much.

They did a good job on hair and makeup for my daughters for my wedding. I was very pleased with the interactions the hair dressers had with them. It made for an enjoyable day with my daughters.
They have wedding hair down no doubt. It was a little pricey for 4 of us hence the –1 star. The hair and makeup and tip were almost as much as the wedding ceremony. lol
But if you don’t care about price and want quality I recommend this place.

I was attending a wedding and felt like I wanted to do more than my rather simple make up routine. I called to see if they could just do my eye make up while I took care of the foundation myself and save me the money from using their airbrush — and they said yes. I was running late to my appt and called them to see if that was ok and they were nice about it and said sure. I was greeted kindly when I arrived and had to wait a few minutes to wait. The gal that did me was young and very sweet. She did a good job and did just what I wanted. When I went to pay, it was $ 55. I thought that was a lot for some eye makeup and a 20 min application. I thought $ 55 included the airbrush which I opted not to do. Overall, the experience was great, but at a steep price. I should really learn how to do «smokey eyes» myself and invest in a few brushes.

One of the best cuts and styles I’ve ever had!!! Karen was my stylist… she’s knowledgeable, super sweet, and did an amazing job! Everyone in the salon is extremely welcoming and kind and the prices are very reasonable. Excellent experience, I recommend this place to any and everyone!

Fantastic salon. Exceptional stylist (Cree) highly recommend. Super convenient location and very classy experience. I was offered a glass of wine or other non-​alcoholic beverages. I chose the wine and it came served with cookies and strawberries to nibble on.
Anyone looking to have their hair done for a wedding, I saw some beautiful work. Close to the lake, where many people have their ceremonies, so that seems like a bonus. Everyone in the salon was friendly — Tahoe style and definitely upscale. Loved it!

On vacation and needed a cut and color. Check ed Unilocal for a salon in the area that had good reviews. Found Imagine and checked out the stylists. I’m 59 but wanted a stylist old enough to understand me and young enough to update my style. Decided to try Cree! She was beyond great! We chatted, I showed her a few pictures and she knew just what to do. I couldn’t be happier! Cree, thanks for the conversation, your expertise and a fantastic job! My only
regret is that i live too far to come back. Or at least till October when we come back to Tahoe.

I left very disappointed with this place. I spent 3 hours there to get the ugliest color and worst haircut I have ever had.
I had to fix it next day with the hair specialist in San Francisco. The reason I am giving 1 star because the owner charged my only $ 75 instead of $ 150.

I saw such awesome reviews for this salon and really wanted to love it too. I went here for an updo and left quite disappointed. I would give the friendliness of my stylist 5 stars she was such a sweet girl, but I am not sure how capable she is with up dos. Maybe I caught her on an off day. I don’t want to mention names because I think she already knew it wasn’t the best job. I left with my hair completely different than what I had wanted and went home and redid quite a bit of it. It reached a point time wise where I just had to say it was fine and leave. I did have a wedding to get to. I know she is relatively new to the salon so maybe she just needs a little help from those more experienced. I have had my hair done many times and never had someone not be able to manage my hair. Unfortunately there won’t be a next time for me.

I’ve gone to Cree a handful of times. Her talent is immeasurable. It doesn’t matter what I ask her to do to my tresses– she’s always spot on. In fact, it seems the other stylists are great at what they do as well. Seeing other clients walk out if the salon, their hair always looks amazing!
The salon itself us chic and clean. Easy in the eye. Definitely my favorite salon in SLT!

Amanda and her staff were amazing! We dropped in on her on a very busy saturday and was introduced by Tarra at Sidestreet Boutique. We were getting married in a few hours and I needed someone to do my hair and makeup. She made time for me personally and did the most AMAZING job styling my hair while her makeup artist
air brushed my makeup! If that wasn’t enough, her husband Sean squeezed us into Café Fiorra for our wedding dinner, an amazing restaurant that is usually on a month long waiting list! Great place, great experience! Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience here and recommend this salon to locals and visitors, men and women!
My boyfriend stopped in here a few weeks ago and got a great haircut from Talitha. We just moved a few blocks away, so I called and was able to make an appointment the same day. Haley cut my hair, and did a fantastic job! She gave me some wonderful layers that have made my long hair much easier and more fun to style.
I met the whole crew and they were all friendly and fun to chat with, which is (in my opinion) second only to hair-​styling skill in terms of importance when choosing a stylist. For the luxurious atmosphere and skillful stylists, it was still a very reasonably priced haircut.
Also, free coffee or champagne and fruit and cookies! What’s not to love?

I don’t live in town, I was looking for a fairly specific pixie cut which the stylist nailed perfectly. The scheduling was easy and everyone was beautifully friendly.
I can’t say enough about my experience. I highly recommend this salon.

I could not say enough to verbalize how amazing our experience was at this salon! My MOH, mother, MIL and myself all had our hair and makeup done they day of my wedding. Audrey was my stylist and was phenomenal! We all had our own stylist, which saved time and was fun to all get ready at the same time. They served champagne and coffee, which was a huge plus! I was unsure about getting ready at a salon, wanting to have drinks and snacks in the hotel room while getting ready, but this helped make the salon experience exceptional! They had some pastries, as well, but we did not have any of those.
Audrey and the MOH’s stylist looked at pictures we had and beautifully replicated the hair styles. All requests were followed. Audrey even offered to come after my ceremony to assist in removing my vail so my hair didn’t mess up for the reception! She gave us her cell phone number and was at the hotel by the time my MOH called her, so above anything I would have expected of a stylist. She removed my vail and touched up my curls with her curling iron, as well.
If I ever have a special event in Lake Tahoe again, I would call this Salon, especially Audrey, in a heartbeat!

Wow what a great find, thank you Unilocal!My husband and I just celebrated our 5 year Wedding Anniversary with a Vow Renewal at Zephyr Cove Labor Day weekend. This Salon defiantly exceed my expectations!!!
I was pleasantly surprised how adorable this Salon is. All the staff were great, friendly, and professional. Also the vibe of the Salon is hip and reflective of the times, not a place for a shampoo sets if you catch my drift.
Michelle was my stylist, she greeted me warmly and made me feel at ease right away. We had great conversation and I felt comfortable letting her style my hair. I ended up with an beautiful messy side bun with a side braid. The look went perfect with my BOHO maxi dress! Also she ended up doing lashes on me as well. I felt like a princess, and received many compliments on how pretty Iooked.
