Service and food are amazing! Definitely coming back my next visit. I had the grilled cheese and it’s delicious. I also had the dragon smoothie which is also, you guessed it, DELICIOUS!

There is a tall girl with a knee brace who is really rude to customers. She didn’t say more than two words and she couldn’t even say thank you or even say your welcome when we said thank you. It took her more than 5 minutes to welcome us into the store and we were the only people there.

I loved this spot! We were on way back to San Francisco and needed a quick and cheap lunch break and the Keys Café was exactly what we were looking for. Kinda hip and that’s what I loved about it :) I had half of turkey sandwich and half of a salad, both tasted great. I also grabbed a cup of an awesome latte to go, a gluten free chai bread I took with it, wasn’t that good… but still a great experience!

My wife and i went here to try out their acai bowl. Its a small place hidden on South Lake Tahoe Blvd. My wife and i wasn’t expecting much with their acai bowl but we were wrong. Their acai bowl was pretty good. It was a good size cup for $ 6.50. The cheapest acai bowl we’ve tried so far. Keys Café is going to be our first stop when we’re in South Tahoe.

Efficient service quality good food and large portions. A half sandwich was more than enough with a small salad for one person with a healthy appetite. I had the half hummus sandwich with salad and everything was fresh and delicious The bread slices are double thick so I might get a salad next time

Their Acai bowl is amazing! What really makes it is their homemade granola. I would ask for extra if you do order it. Their coffee is one of my favorites in Tahoe. Not overpowering coffee flavor and not too sweet to mask that you’re drinking coffee. They have outdoor seating which is perfect for summer time weather. The indoor seating is limited but comfortable. I’ve been here three times and have always found a spot to sit. Free wifi! They have the local newspapers. They also have computers and a printing station! The ambiance is cozy. The baristas are always super sweet and friendly! I’m not sure what this place could be missing and why you’re still reading this go check them out yourself! You won’t regret it!

Had the sweet potato sandwich and the Ceasar wrap. Both were decent. I think the ciabatta bread on the sweet potato sandwich is a bit heavy. Next time is order it with a different bread. Felt the wrap was mostly lettuce. Was bummed that they only do soups seasonally. It was May and still chilly. Overall a good spot, with fresh ingredients.

Really delicious & fresh food. They worked with my dietary restrictions to help me order a full meal. I love that things were organic & they had local farm eggs. The staff was great!

We came here for a quick breakfast and they had a wide assortment of breakfast items, coffee, smoothies, and pastries. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast burritos(which were huge), breakfast sandwich, a blueberry scone and a couple coffee’s. Everything was pretty good. Next time I want to try the acai bowl!

Cute place. Great stop while visiting Tahoe. Good coffee. Great Breakfast Burritos– Taste good and very filling. Lots of bacon and egg. Large size. About 6– 7 dollars. Acai bowls — Love it! I love getting these when visiting Tahoe since not easy to find in SF. Very filling too.

Came in for breakfast. Based on the reviews me and my boyfriend both got the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Real tasty and filling. I also got the Mexican hot chocolate which was amazingly delicious. Probably the best hot chocolate I had in a while. If you’re ever in South Lake Tahoe you should check this place out.

This used to be my favorite local spot UNTIL new owners took over This summer during July the girl at the register was working in her bra(yes her lacy bra not a binkini top even, not that would make it better) and the guy in back was cooking shirtless with ample chest hair glistening over the food he was preparing. I swore off Keys Café for the rest of summer. Stupidly today, I decided to order my old favorite grilled cheese on ciabatta bread with fresh mozzarella and pesto. Check the picture for my $ 10 sandwich($ 10.10 to be exact). They charge 75 cents for a to go box. Ready to take a guess on how long it took to prepare this grilled cheese? 40 minutes, yep almost an hour and we were the only people in there. Also another gem about this place is the gangster rap music that is so loud you can’t talk to the person across the table from you. And if you ask the hipsters that work there to turn it down they audibly exasperate like you are killing their buzz or something. Also coffee and hot chocolates take about 30 mins to make :( I miss the old owners bad! Don’t waste your time here unless you have degenerative hearing loss and have an hour to wait for one sandwich with an empty café.

I ordered the breakfast burrito with avocado. The avocado is extra. What I got was exactly that — a burrito with avocado(Without any meat). You are supposed to have a choice of chorizo or bacon or I forgot what other choice was listed.(I looked at the menu again afterwards) I didn’t mention it when I ordered, so I got none of the above. I thought it came with everything and I was never asked what meat I wanted. I was in a hurry and didn’t want it remade so didn’t bring it up. So my meatless breakfast burrito was good, but I’m sure it would have been much better if it came with meat. Put on your glasses when you order: P

Good coffee and pastries. A somewhat hidden location with a lot of character. The lighting inside isn’t the greatest and the furniture is a little too worn and dated. Also, the music was a bit too loud. Overall, it’s a nice local café. I recommend. *They provide two computer stations with printing available(at a 10 cent/page charge).

A very tasty breakfast and lunch menu but a slightly disappointing cappuccino. Wife got the mozzarella sandwich and I got the breakfast burrito. Quick question, is all chorizo in Tahoe this delicious? Because I might move here. Her sandwich was nice but the chibbata bread was a little dense. Her iced Girl Scout mint coffee was nice but my cappuccino was far too dry and the espresso was either over roasted or extracted poorly because it was bitter. Though, I asked for a sample of the Brazilian drip coffee and that was just delightful. Notes of dark chocolate hazelnut and a smokey caramel. Really what I should have ordered. Quite nice

Very nice and comfortable ambience in this café. Its quaint and hip, nice music and unique décor. Great breakfast options. The burrito is loaded with eggs, potatoes, cheese and bacon, a lot of bacon. It’s a little salty for my taste but it’s still okay. The breakfast sandwich is simple and tasty. Good portion eggs, it was like an egg patty. But the acai bowl was AWESOME. The bananas were nicely decorated. Theres great portions of granola, didn’t really need to order extra but it was still good. Also got the tiger Chai tea latte. A nice spicy cinnamon like kick, but a bit too sweet for me.
