I was in the neighborhood trying out a Thai restaurant just up the street and I saw this Pier 1. I’m always up for checking out a new store, I might find something to buy or it’s just fun to look and maybe get some decorating ideas. This location is right next to the Factory Outlet stores at the South lake Tahoe «Y». It has a nice tree lined parking lot for shade, so if your significant other is not a shopper, he can take a rest outside. The store has a lot of stuff, mostly from India and Asia. Not really European oriented as far as imports go. There are lots of dishes and place setting do dahs. It was OK to browse around. A few workers asked if I needed help, so that’s good if you need help. I didn’t end up buying anything, but it’s good to know the store is here.

Last few times I’ve been in, someone has always been out on the floor, I bet sales have improved ;)
