I was so excited to try this place out. I am a big fan of sushi and they have such a wide selection, I thought what could be better? Well, after shopping around the buffet(it was about 7 or 8pm) before actually starting to build my plate, I noticed some very unappetizing stuff. Firstly, the avocado and the seaweed for most of the pieces of sushi looked mushy and brown. I am not too picky when it comes to this, but MOST of the pieces? And the sushi wasn’t protected by any glass or on a cool surface, it was just out in the open. Made me wonder how long it’d been sitting there, how many people had coughed over it, and if the raw fish was still safe to eat. Another thing I noticed on the hibachi side… the meat was grouped together(beef and chicken) and were not covered by anything and were not on a cool surface or over ice. The meat also looked discolored. I opted out. I think I had some green beans, rice, and fried rangoons and quickly left, but guess what? I still ended up with a tummy ache the next day. Pretty disappointed.

Love this place. Went on a Thursday for lunch & was quickly seated, no waiting. Like always I went straight to the Suchy Bar, started with Pink Ginger(love it) and raw fish & rice(Salmon, Tilapia, Baza) with EAL sauce, wasabi, Spice Mayo. Second plate got the rest of Suchy assortment, plus some tempura too. Wife ate a little Suchy and got the buffet entrée. Ended the lunch with their Green tea ice cream & red beam. They had Tiramisu for desert and tasted real good. What I like from this place is the freshness of their Suchy & consistency of their food. Even that this time their lunch buffet went up in price($ 11.95) still is a good price for their food. :-))

The sushi selection is great. The noodles and sesame chicken are amazing but the hibachi chicken and steak are mediocre. Steak was very chewy

I love this sushi buffet! the amount of interesting and flavorful rolls they have is crazy, I usually try one of everything and my plate is entirely full! they also have a hibachi station as well as a separate buffet of chicken, tempura, crab Rangoon(my fave), etc… as well as crab legs, mussels, clams, and an ice cream and dessert bar. The chefs move very fast and they are always replacing the rolls so it’s very fresh, the servers are good about refilling your water also. I come to this buffet whenever I’m in town!

I have been eating here 4 – 5 times per year for a long time. I’m not into the exotic sushi. For the price, you have the hibachi chicken or steak prepared to order. Icy chilled peel and eat shrimp and an array of other hot and cold offerings. Is it the best Asian food I’ve ever had? No. But the service and price make it worthwhile.

It must not be the most fanciest Japanese Buffet in the area because the entrance doesn’t say much but certainly is the most complete Japanesse buffet in this are. There was caviar, shrimps(my favorite seafood) in many combinations, and a big and long table full of any kind of sushi that you want! I you go for dinner time, they have different meats like steaks and even salmon on the grill! The deseert area has much more deserts than the other ones that I had been and believe me! I love Japanesse and Chinnese buffets! Our waitress, a Puerto Rican like me, take great care of us even when she didn’t know I was from Puerto Rico so, she is a good waitress no matter what or whom. I hope I can remember her name so if you are seeing this review, please, contact me to mention you and giving thanks to you one more time! If you only want to go for the buffet go at lunch time. It’s less expensive that for dinner because of the grilled meat and sea food.

Pretty Decent Buffet. They have good sushi and sashimi, a Mongolian stand, raw bar and pretty decent dessert. They seem to have a wider variety of things than some of the places I’ve been.

Sushi selection was different and delicious. We took our two teenagers here to eat. They enjoyed it. The other foods were good, but the sushi is where it’s at. Dessert is typical for an Asian buffet. Drinks were refilled, but staff wasn’t really around to check on us.

I hadn’t been to Kyojin in over 9 years. I went recently for lunch and I have to say it was bad all around. Meh is the feeling. And not just that… they have some serious health safety issues that really concerned me. For one, they offer a self serve Hibachi where customers serve themselves raw chicken, raw shrimp and using the same tongs serve themselves veggies. Potentially very dangerous. Even worse, the tongs slide right into the chicken juice so the handles are covered it in. I walked by again later and the chicken tongs were now laying atop the broccoli. OHMYGAWD. The handsink for the hibachi chef to use is visible to us customers. It was dirty and blocked by dirty dishes. Two other big no-no’s. The bathrooms were old and dirty. The salads were old and seriosly nasty to look at. It was evident to me that the staff do not care about maintaining the buffet clean or organized and that the same food had been sitting there all day. Negative stars for health hazard, shame on you. 1 star for the bland, boring food. 4 stars for tons of seating — would great for groups of the place wasnt so gross. 2 stars for dirty bathrooms 3 stars for«as expected» buffet service 1 star for 90% chinese food in a Japanese buffet… talk about Bait and Switch. Bleech. Do I have to say it? I won’t be back.

Service was good, waiter was very attendant. Food selection was limited with exception for the sushi. However, the sushi rice had an odd non-sushi like texture which made the sushi unappetizing. Sashimi was much better and quite fresh. Each crawfish was either really salty or extremely bland. And was kept cold! I prefer hot crawfish! Please have stricter policies about children going to the buffet area unattended. Our party witnessed a child going around and picking up oysters and shrimp and placing them back on the platter with their bare hands! It was offputting to say the least. Price was alright for a buffet, but I think you can find another place with better quality for that price!

This place is great! For about $ 20 you get to eat unlimited sushi, sashimi, and crab! The quality of the fish is pretty good, even though some of the rolls might sit there for a little too long sometimes before they switch them to fresh ones. They also have hot food, however I’ve never really tried it as I always go for the sushi. Desserts are not good at all but who cares about desserts in a Japanese buffet?

This is an amazing all-you-can-eat buffet. The sushi and soups taste phenomenal, the price for my daughter was $ 10.45 for all her food which in a regular restaurant would’ve cost probably around the $ 40 mark. The atmosphere is great, our visit was peaceful and quiet, but that just depends on the people eating there. And, the waitress we had came to our table frequently to ask if we wanted refills on my wife’s and my iced tea. All in all a really nice experience.

I love this place. Came by again a second time. I got there at 12 and the food was fresh. The sushi was amazing. Despite the negative reviews, the two times I’ve come it it’s always been good and for the price it’s amazing.

Pretty decent buffet. Good selection of sushi and tons of fried food. Desserts could be better. POC is still my favorite buffet in area, but this place is okay for location and price.

Looking for a Japanese Buffet? I think this place has a lot to offer. They got this massive numbers of japanese food in their tables, just by entering this place will make really hungry from the smell of the food. Service was fine, loved the hospitality in this place.

My family stopped by here before going down to our keys house for lunch. This is another restaurant I can walk into and the owner recognize my family members which is great because then I feel reassured that my experience at this restaurant will be good. Even though this is an updated review there isn’t much else I would say lol. I love that I live close to this place, that the food is always great from the sushi, to hibachi, to desserts, etc. I usually come here when I want to stuff my face with sushi though because the quality is great(and the price isn’t bad either). I will continue to recommend people to come here if they are looking for a ayce sushi buffet. I still believe it is the best in the area.
