So HAPPY I found this place on Unilocal!Just took my Lola in yesterday for her first professional grooming in awhile. I called maybe 2 weeks ago and tried to get her in the same day however they were booked. So I hung up and was going to call around however I really wanted her to try this place so I called back and made an appointment for 2 weeks out on a Saturday. I had an appointment for yesterday at noon and was a few minutes late. They were working on a few dogs already and the cut the lady was doing looked cute so I was pretty confident. They had me fill out a little form and asked what type of cut I would like and said it would be 3 hours. Pretty easy and my husband and I were out the door. Maybe 2 hours later we get a call she’s ready for pick up. We rush over because I’m so excited to see her freshly groomed! And the cut is perfect for my little Yorkie! She looks so cute I literally cannot stop looking! She gave her a traditional Yorkie cut like I asked and she smells like a baby! I booked her next appointment 8 weeks out because I know I found my groomer! For the works it was $ 55.00 which I find totally reasonable for the wash, cut, anal cleaning, nails & teeth! So thanks this was a pleasant experience mush better than the past experiences I have had at Petco & petsmart! Pictures to follow…

We took our fuzzball baby here for his very first grooming visit. He arrived after throwing up all over himself, and the wonderful people in Bark’n’Bubbles were unfazed. They took the doggie bag’s lining to wash, took our puppy, and we came back to a very clean fuzzball an hour later. And our doggie bag was clean for him to throw up in for the ride home! We appreciated the sweet reaction, we appreciated the clean dog, and this is definitely our place.

I’ve been taking Sophie, My yorkie here for almost 5 years now. They are expedient and get her in and out in about an hour and a half. Her cut is always adorable and we leave as happy customers.

This is the only place I trust for my little morkie, Stitch. They always do a great job!

First of all it’s been years since I found the perfect groomer for my dogs. I’ve moved a lot over the years and now making San Francisco my permanent residence. As I patiently and tirelessly continue to go to Petsmart, today I felt I had enough!
Luckily I stumbled upon this lovely groomer! I called in the morning requesting a grooming appointment and spoke with Dominique. I was so impressed from the moment she picked up the phone. She was incredibly professional and compassionate about her job and of course values her customers (both human and dogs of course!). Unfortunately they were booked up for a whole week.
I had an appointment at another groomer that put a bad taste in my mouth and I felt I had no other immediate options, as my dog was overdue for a grooming. Luckily before settling for less at Petsmart, Dominique called me back and said there was a cancellation and she’d be happy to get me in. I booked it down there and was greeted with a smile from both Dominique and Daniel. I felt at home. And this is how my pets should feel.
3 hours later my dog looked absolutely beautiful! She was pretty matted and needed some desperate TLC.
With my first time experience here and seeing so many happy customers (that they know by name) dropping off their dogs and to top it off of the wonderful grooming and service we received, I highly recommend getting your dog (s) groomed here!

Best groomers in the peninsula! I love coming here and my two dogs do too! The prices are reasonable and the job they do is consistent! Dom and Dan are the two groomers and always give my dogs the cut I ask for! I am a long time customer and highly recommend them to all my family and friends. They also offer anesthesia free teeth cleaning once a month (2^nd Thursday of every month)

I have returned to this location after my previous visit and just wanted to share that I am very pleased with all the technicians who take care of my mop… Err fur ball :-). They are absolutely personal when it comes to your babies and make sure you understand what’s going on. Just dropped off Cookie Monster this morning, and had a great encounter with a lovely young woman. I hope they don’t miss her nails again! Will adjust star rating after I pick her up.

I have brought my little Danny here about a dozen times and they always do such a great job. I always seem to bring him in when he is extremely matted (I know I’m the worst), but they always are able to cut his hair and still make him look great. What makes me love this place even more is the fact that he is happy to be there and I have trouble getting him to go home. My dog has never loved a place more than home, every one here is so welcoming and warm, I couldn’t be more thankful. Oh and this is by far one of the cheapest places I’ve ever taken him to so that’s a bonus!

I really like the owners at Barks n Bubbles, they care about their customers, and what we want our pups to look like aside from just the grooming. They have always given my maltipom an awesome haircut and plan to go back this week. They are the only groomers I trust to give my pup a good haircut and she is always relaxed and happy when she comes out at the end.
I have tried many other places, and they just don’t quite do a very good job. I think it’s one thing to cut their hair and wash them, the team here ask what you want and don’t just shave it all off like the many others I’ve been to. I wish I can drive over here more often, I don’t live near but am willing to drive nowadays!
My Ivy has been here when she was just a little over 10 weeks old, and we have been coming here since. We appreciate everyone at Barks n Bubbles!

I brought my cockerpoo mix here for almost 2 years but I’m going to a new place because she was always stressed out when she came here. She should be getting more comfortable over time, not more stressed, right? Usually my spouse does the drop off/​pick up, but the last time I came along, I was not pleased with the shop. Music was very loud on top of very loud hair dryers. They handed my dog’s harness to me covered in another dog’s fur. No wonder my dog feels stressed here. The cuts from here were inconsistent. Some cuts were great, some were kinda choppy but I tolerated them. They often missed her duclaws even when specified to check them upon arrival. I don’t think this place is terrible, but maybe not for my dog.

I am sad that I can no longer bring my dogs to Barks and Bubbles since we don’t live in South City anymore :(but I still wanted to write a review here because they totally deserve it!
They treat your dog like their own, and do such an amazing job with the haircuts and baths. My pups would always look and smell great, and most importantly, they seemed totally relaxed when I picked them up, which to me, is one of the most important things!

Pretty wonderful team of groomers? Great place and great prices! They are fast too, so if your furry child has a phobia this is the place to be. They take care of your dog.

Had a very horrible experience with this pet grooming salon when I took my dog here for bathing, hair and nail cutting, teeth brushing. After leaving my dog for an hour or so, picked up my dog with crooked, uneven hair, toenails were done on the left foot but forgotten on the right foot, teeth were not brushed, and no bathing. I left my dog there again so they can re-​do what they said theyve done. I know my dog’s scent and they did not shampoo him. Then months later I brought my dog there again & gave them a 2^nd chance but still the same. Same problem, forgotten nails, scent no change, unprofessional cut in diff shapes and uneven style. This grooming salon is a ripped off to think they dont do their job well yet they charge you big bucks.
This time I changed my mind & looked for a better one. Pet Smart. For a fee of lower than Bath n Bubbles, I was fascinated by my dog’s hair cut. So very even, flawless, smells good and very nice nail cut and so good mouth and ears + a bonus of guideliness about your dog’s future sched and hygiene. All of you who read this, try Pet Smart, youll never go wrong. Not ripped off, well-​known store, professional staff, lower package deal.

My long hair Shih Tzu, Cullen, was getting some matted hair around his underarms and a little too fluffy for his own good. I spend most of my day at the office and I rarely have time to give him the daily grooming he should be getting, I can take the fault for that. I felt so bad for my little guy that he was constantly scratching himself that I decided that it was time for him to see a professional. I was a bit comprehensive to take him to the groomers, as I had so many traumatic experiences with people trying to call themselves actual «groomers». I was so excited to read all the glowing reviews on Barks n Bubbles that i mustered up all my courage and gave them a call. I was a hot mess over the phone when a friendly voice named Casey picked up the phone and listened to all of my concerns. She genuinely cared and she took the time to listen to me over the phone. They were able to accommodate my tight schedule last minute and I knew I made the right decision.
I had my brother dropped Cullen off while I was still stuck at the office. Denise quickly came to the phone and asked a few questions, she had calmed my nerves at this point and said that Cullen would be done in three hours. Came back a few hours later and informed me how matted he was. It must’ve taken her a very long time to brush out all the matted hair and I was quite embarassed by it, being that it was a few hours after closing and she was still finishing up. When she was done brushing and combing him out it, looking at the floor with all the hair looked like Chewbacca just had left the building.
I appreciate how attentive and gentle she was with Cullen and how super down to earth she was. Cullen looked and smelled great and I couldn’t be any happier.
In all I believe it took about a couple of hours, majority could’ve been brushing out all the matted hair, which was totally my fault for my lack of grooming time with my little guy. Denise was hella chill and hella nice and she made me feel at ease throughout the whole experience. The price was very reasonable, especially for all the extra advice and insight I got from Denise. It’s a family business owned, and I think everyone there is either related by blood or by marriage, but Denise made me feel like I was part of a community. I believe that Dan and Dominique has something truly special going for them.

You guys are professional and on point! I recommend this groomers for other because as a hair stylist and makeup artist I am super picky and visiting here was exactly what I was looking for. I love this place I recommend them 100% and the prices are not ridiculously overpriced which is a great plus. Your dog will truly get first class treatment and they do a thorough job what more can you ask for?

Yay! So glad there is an awesome groomer shop close to my house. They were really nice & took good care of my dog. He looked wonderful when I picked him up & it only took an hour and a half which means he didn’t have to sit in a crate for a long time. They did everything I asked when trimming this but not that kind of instructions.
And not to mention it was very reasonably priced! Do book ahead of time because they fill up on the weekends. And I love all the little doggies that greet you when you come in. Yay for a small business ran by animal lovers!

It was my first time trying this place and they didn’t disappoint me! Very friendly staff and nice environment! I love their family dogs, so adorbs! & I told them that I wanted them to cut my dog’s hair like Boo’s hair, the Pomeranian. & they actually did it! & they weren’t complaining at all even if Harvey was barking the whole friggin time, since we came there til I picked him up haha! I’m so happy and satisfied! I will most definitely come back and I definitely recommend this place!

This was my first time at Bark and Bubbles. I usually go to Petsmart groomers but decided to give this place a try. I dropped off my dog… a malti-​poo around 10am in the morning. They said that he would be ready in about 3 hours. Fast forward 5 hours later and still no call. I decided to call them and ask them what was going on… They picked up and said my dog was ready already and that he had 1 «minor» cut on his leg. I was so upset that they did not call me and let me know this happened to him. When i went to pick up my dog… they gave me the wrong dog twice…“thinking it was just the small white one”…The cut was beyond minor… he had a gash on his rear leg that was bleeding and i noticed another small cut on his front leg… This was the most upsetting experience i ever had with a pet groomer… I wanted to speak with the groomer, Danielle, myself but «conveniently» she had just left prior to my arrival. Needless to say, I’m never coming back here again!
If I could i would give this place no stars!
