I used to always drop by Carl’s Jr for their Loaded Breakfast Burrito and Breakfast Burger and that was pretty much it. I wasn’t that big a fan of the Green Burrito side of their menu before, but that was until I dropped by to try their crispy tacos. From then on, they’ve been a guilty addiction. Crispy Tacos with Chicken – These aren’t the same as Taco Bell or Jack In The Box. Their crispy shells are nice and thick and have a light crunch to them when you bite in them. And that’s really the main reason why I like the crispy tacos so much here. I prefer their grilled chicken over their beef because they use a tangy southwestern sauce that goes well with the chicken. Either one you decide on, they don’t skimp and give you a very good amount of meat. I’d glady settle for these tacos over any taco truck or taqueria tacos any day, and that’s saying a lot because I’ve been to a lot of taquerias in my area. Super Nachos with Beef – I can’t say the same praise for the nachos. They’re good and as you can see from the pic that it’s very loaded, but they’re not too much to brag about. And another craving of mine that Carl’s Jr. just recently added to their menu are their Jalapeño Poppers. You get 5 Poppers in box and they come with gooey cheddar cheese inside, which I prefer over cream cheese like most other places make them. My only complaint is that the drive thru speed still hasn’t improved all that much and is still slow. But as I pointed out in my last review, it doesn’t bother me too much. And I wish they were open past 11pm for late night grubbing but I guess I can’t have everything. Ever since Del Taco in SF closed, this Carl’s Jr /Green Burrito location has probably been the next best thing since you can order burgers and tacos much better than Jack In The Box across the street. Can’t wait to get more Crispy Tacos and Jalapeño Poppers!

Service here has gotten pretty bad, workers would rather stay on their phones than to actually help customers. I stayed and waited for a good while until i just walked away. Jack In The Box across the street actually pays attention to their customers. O well this Carls Jr is too rich to care that they missed out on my big order of food for my family and coworkers. This was 12÷22÷15 at 0820 am.

What a bloody nightmare! Drove in from Monterey and stopped in after getting some gas. Order: Thick Jalapeño burger, no mayo, no ketchup, no onions. PERIOD. Had to repeat it 3 times to the guy at the register and he still didn’t get it so he called the only other staff member to take the order. Repeated the order a fourth time(her first) and when the burger arrived, THEYGOTITWRONG. SURPRISE!!! I don’t get it! Am I missing something here? AND when I presented a CARL’S JR gift card, «Sorry sir, we do NOT accept those.» She offered to correct the order but after spending 15FRUSTRATING minutes trying to JUSTGETMYORDERPLACED, I gave up, took the WRONG burger and left. Would I EVER stop in again? HE__NO!

This location is consistent with others. The ordering was quick and simple. The service was polite and quick. The Western Bacon Cheeseburger tasted great. I miss Carl’s Jr now that I live in Cincinnati.

Slowest fast food restaurant ever. Be prepared to wait 10 – 15 minutes for your food. Bbq bacon chicken quesadilla is pretty bomb. Remember to order your food before you get your gas

This review is just for Green Burrito. I ordered a bean, cheese and beef burrito here once. There’s not much to say about this other than, wow I can’t believe I wasted my money on this. The tortilla was barely toasted and the filling was running all over my plate. The taste barely resembled a burrito and the beef was just plastered on carelessly inside. One star for at least not getting me sick the day after, but if you want a burrito, go to a decent taquria down Mission Street, please.

What’s not to like about this Carl’s Jr? Gas up your car, get your car washed, and everything from a convenience store. BUTWAIT! There’s more! The tasty deliciousness of Carl’s Jr. is here too! You can do the drive-thru or just park(say if you got a car wash and let your car dry) and order your favorites. Take your table number, fill up your favorite drink, sit down, relax and wait for your food to be brought to you! So, this Carl’s Jr. is just as good as it gets, never had any issues with ordering or mess up on my orders. I’m just kind of envious of people who live around here! I mean, cheap Chevron gas and Carl’s Jr! They have it made around here! You can tell I’m not from around here, but occasionally when I would make it out of the City towards that area, I definitely took time out to stop by.

This is my favorite fast food joint when I get a craving for a burger. Their burgers are HUGE along with their sodas. So when they ask you about your combo, I suggest small because the soda they give you is actually a medium sized drink. My fave part about Carl’s Jr is their sides — they have sweet potato and criss cut fries — check it out! But I tend to order chili cheese fries — get two forks and share because I cant finish by myself, especially with their burgers. I cant say much about their employees. I usually go here at night and their employees in that shift are normally nice. But in the afternoon it’s on and off, some are incredibly friendly but there are a few indifferent ones. None are downright rude. Try it out!

Staff is pretty nice. Food is made to order. Fries are usually piping hot and delicious. If you’ve never had their criss-cut fries, you’re not living. They really only have one size of fries/onion ring/zucchini container. The big difference is the drink size. They have an awesome salsa bar too! It’s all really yummy. I even take some to go. :) haha Parking lot isn’t huge, but most times half of it is taken up by people drying off their cars post car-wash. Drive thru is efficient too. Most of the waiting time is spent on waiting for fresh fries/onion rings/zucchini. Definitely worth the wait!

I ordered the 3-Piece Chicken Tenders for $ 2.99. The Chicken was tender, juicy and had a great flavor. The Honey Mustard Sauce was very good. Some of the best Chicken Tenders I have ever eaten from a Drive Thru.

Not a full Carl’s Jr. It’s inside the Chevron and shares space with their food mart. They definitely prioritize drive thru orders though. Kind of slow each time I go in and order to-go. Not usually a lot of people sitting down to eat, but there are tables if you need to.

I’m not usually a fan of Carl’s Jr(though this location DOES have the advantage of being a DRIVETHRU Carl’s Jr/Green Burrito AND it’s «thisclose» to a Chevron Station AND their DRIVETHRU car wash! You can kill several birds with one stone, dig??? Anyway…on a completely unplanned visit to ‘Ol Carl’s…guess what they had? An AMAZING new milkshake…“The Banana Chocolate Chip Shake”!!! It’s really creamy, not overly sugar-y, has that true BANANA taste! Then, as if that wasn’t enough, Carl(you devil) added little flecks of milk chocolate chips in it AND to really send you over the edge into milkshake heaven… they finish it off with WHIPCREAM! If you’re a fan of the milkshake… and especially if you enjoy banana milkshakes as I do(and oft lament WHY they aren’t more readily available at places that currently serve the missionary position flavors of strawberry/vanilla/choc) you have to make a trip to Carl’s to get one!(Limited time only, so shake a leg, princess!) The servers here were super nice, however, they did seem confused when I inquired about the whereabouts of Carl Sr ! Enjoy your banana milkshake… but time’s a wastin’!!!

Location: Just next to the Chevron gas station and is paired up with green burrito. There is no seating problem inside. Parking: Always parking the last 2 – 3 times that ive gone there. Service: Staff always ready to take your order, but the food comes in about 5 – 10 minutes but thats because its made to cook and they grill your patty when you order them. They have drive thru too. Food: The only thing i get here is the Santa Fe Grilled Chicken after i workout cause its clean and good… plus you can get stuff from the green burrito condiment bar and put it all over your sandwhich/burgers. The burritos here is not as real as the mexican joints. Price: Kinda in the high side for burgers. I guess quality is what you pay for. Thats why this isnt like McDonalds that you go to everyday. God bless and happy Unilocalin!!!

I can never decide which is my favorite: Carl’s, Wendy’s or Jack. they each offer their own brand of yummness. Carl’s is the messiest burger and if they have a Green Burrito, I always add cilantro and japs to my burger from the salsa bar. Wendy’s has really fresh burgers. Jack has tasty food and a great variety. Thank goodness I’m in America where I can choose any and all, depending on my mood. This location is located inside a gas station convenience store. What I find convenient is that when I eat here, I can also buy a lotto ticket; ah, my ticket to freedom… when I win! The staff is hit or miss as far as friendliness. But the food has consistantly been good. And there is always the salsa bar! I love the burgers so much, I’ve yet to try the Green Burrito food items. But I always see others doing so and the food always look very appealing. As for the fries, Wendy’s has my favorite, but I can say with certainty that Carl’s fries are a close second and could possibly take the lead.

I love it! They always give extra napkins and ranch for the fried zucchini and french fries, but remember to ask for extra. The drive thru people are usually very polite and have yet to mess up my order. They have also never forgotten anything with my order, making them my first fast food place of choice when I visit my hometown. I highly recommend the crunchy chicken tacos here! They are very tasty, light on the grease and have a little spicey salsa kick to it. Totally agree with Angela H that the portions of fries and fried zucchini are generous. Yes, it’s fast food, but Carl gets 5 stars for taking debit cards in the drive thru. Hurray CJ’s!
