Awful service. Poor management. The floors are dirty and the workers do not seem to care about the customers what so ever. Rude and unfriendly atmosphere overall. Will not be returning. Surprised business is still present in Evergreen.

Two Stars is hard to give considering the experience I had. I work in the industry and I understand what it’s like to be busy therefore, I’m pretty fair when it comes down to rating a restaurant. I sat at the counter it took at least 5 minutes for any employee to acknowledge me sitting. Mind you 4 employees walked past me several times. I wasn’t expecting my order to be taken right away, but a simple we’ll be right with you would of worked just as good. Eventually, I placed my order and when I received it the server didn’t even know what it was that she was bringing me. She just put it on the table and left. After sometime she came back and I had to tell her that nothing that was on this signature burger was accurate. I don’t think I’ll be back to this location.

If you aren’t into cheesey-greasy-sloppy burgers or kill shakes, then this place isn’t for you. We stopped for a quick meal, but it wasn’t as quick as we’d hopes. The service wasn’t poor, just slow. The smokehouse burger that I ordered was served hot and it was tasty. My daughter’s grilled chicken strip were perfectly cooked and delicious. We ordered 2 milk shakes, they were slightly on the soupy side instead of the frozen side, I prefer them on the frozen side. Either way, they tasted ss they should and not just like chocolate milk. A reasonable place to get lunch, but oddly not really a cheap option.

— Monday afternoon — Five patrons in the establishment I was at a table of three, the plain burger order was messed up(had scrapped off cheese on burger patty) and the two orders of fries were arguably room temperature, if not cold. Our server, «Jesus» still charged us for the fries. Go to Shady Glenn.

5:30 Saturday afternoon after some shopping, place look kind of busy but not too bad. Got a couple of seats at the counter. Greeted quickly but had trouble hearing our waitress due to the noise. Ordered a couple of burgers with fries and onion rings. While waiting for our order, we watched the other waitresses picking up and bringing back orders. This one was missing cheese, this one needed bacon, this one was fries. The cooks in the back kept straightening out the orders and the waitresses kept picking up the wrong ones. It was hilarious watching the comedy of errors. We thought for sure our order would be wrong but it was correct. Everything was good, service was good, couldn’t hear our waitress but hey we had dinner and a show.

Johnny Rockets clearly sets out to make the worst, most soulless and terrible burger in these here United States. Everyone has seen pictures of «chicken in a can» and I would imagine the quality is about the same as a Johnny Rockets burger. Their beef is claimed to be «all natural,» which of course is the single more dishonest phrase in the entire food world. Their beef literally tastes worse than McDonald’s burger meat, which is almost impressive in it’s sheer awfulness. The next day, I felt my very soul leaving my body with about 2 gallons of fake-onion tasting burger and cold sweet potato fries. If I had a choice of getting ebola or eating one more bite of this horrible, feed-lot burger, I would have to take a bit of time to make the right decision. Go to Wendy’s or Five Guys for about half the price.

Terrible service. Food was ok. Could of been warmer. Never offered refills on soda or water. Was almost warmer outside than it was inside. In new england in december… heard another customer complain about the AC clearly being on and the waitress told her she couldn’t do anything about it. Won’t be going back to that place again

My review isn’t too different from the previous ones. The service was rushed and our waiter obviously had his mind on something else, so much so that he told us to wait a moment while he listened in on conversation between another customer and another employee. We hadn’t even taken our second bite of food before we were asked if we wanted to pay because«he didn’t want to trouble us». Not to mention the food was terrible. My mother ordered a grilled cheese and it was two slices of cheese not even melted on barely toasted white bread. My burger squeezed out enough grease for a small shot glass. The fries were under cooked and bland. I wouldn’t come back here. I was very disappointed all around.

I’m from the west coast on vacation. I was shopping with my sister in the Evergreen Mall and decided to get a quick bite to eat. The waitress, also supervisor, had NO customer service skills! We ordered a chicken club sandwich with bacon cheese fries to share. She acted really annoyed that we wanted to share. We finally got our food, and I had eaten a couple of bites when I noticed some green, fuzzy mold on the crust of the bread. I showed it to the waitress/supervisor. She denied that it was mold and told me she could not compensate for the food. I requested that she call the manager and after 10 minutes I was told I would not have to pay for the food. I will never go back again!!!

Went shopping with my son and it looked good… from the outside… I had a patty melt and with the first bite ½ of an onion skin pulled out! YUK! My son wanted the Philly Cheese steak which was very greasy! I figured since it was in such a nice place with all the great stores that are around it would be a hit… WRONG. Expensive, dirty and the under staffed. Plenty of other places around…

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch and I have to say I will never return again. I ordered a chicken sandwich and when it arrived it had a piece of black hair on top of it. I showed the waitress who apologized and said that she would have another one made. However, there was absolutely NO sense of urgency for a new one to be made. We had a seat across from the grill and we were able to see that the cook did not immediately start a new sandwich. Additionally more disturbing was how the cook continued to argue with our server about it in front of not only us but other customer as well. While I understand that things like this happen, it would have been more forgivable if there was some care and urgency to make things right.

I came here once and won’t be back anytime soon. I would rather go to Wendy’s. The food was nothing to brag about. The fries were tasteless. I feel for $ 10… Just go to Red Robin. If you really want a shake… Go to shady Glenn or cold stone.

OK for a quick cheap burger… nothing special but not bad. The sweet potatoes were WAY too sweet… as if they were artificially sweetened or something. The Houston burger was good… nice taste to it… but the jalapeño peppers didn’t have that much heat… how does that happen?

I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad. It is what it is… a solid step up from a fast food joint. Definitely more pricey, but the kids like it. The burgers are decent, not Plan B, but solid. However, the malts are very good. The verdict, I would pop in here if I were at Evergreen with the kids, but wouldn’t make a special trip.

First question they asked me: Are you ordering something to go? Are you closed? No, we close in 25 minutes. That pretty much tells you about their dedication to service. If you close at 9, clean up at 9:01 and not when I’m eating. The food was okay but I definitely won’t be headed back anytime soon.

Anti-chain snobs need read no further. If you, however, are like me, and enjoy a good meal wherever it is made, then Johhny Rockets may be the place for you. Situated in Evergreen Walk, we walk in for a quick lunch, and smile to see the entire service crew doing a line dance to Aretha’s R-E-S-P-E-C-T, but subbing in their own rap. Classic stuff! We get our menus after the performance and subsequent ovation. Wife picks a classic cheeseburger, while adventurous I go for the Houston Burger, topped with sliced jalapenos, lettuce, and their own hot spread. I got a diet soda, and she got a Butterfinger milk shake, one of several flavors offered. She loved it. I liked the flavor, although it was a bit chunky for me. While we waited for the burgers, I put a nickel in the table-side juke box, and played«Back in the USSR,» one of about 120 period and non-period choices. The burgers came wrapped in paper on a disposable plate. We both enjoyed them to the last bite. We each ordered fries with the burgers. I had the bacon-cheese fries. Neither portion was over-huge, but I was impressed that the bacon on mine was actually real bacon, cooked, and then hand-chopped, as opposed to pre-cooked in the bag bacon. Bravo for that. We didn’t have dessert, knowing we had a bit of walking ahead of us. We left quite satisfied. I give JR’s 4 stars because of the added entertainment factor, and because the entire restaurant was spotless from top to bottom. To survive in an upscale environment such as Evergreen Walk, cleanliness is a great weapon to have on your side, and this Johhny Rockets does that well. Come, sit, listen, and enjoy!

Had a Smokehouse Burger, onion rings and the Very Cherry milkshake. Burger was quite good. Onion rings were from a frozen package. Milkshake was odd. Tasted good but I got the impression they used crushed ice to stretch the product. Couldn’t drink it through a straw.

Ok burger. Fries are bleh. Our service was fine, but from the looks of other reviews, it sounds like we might have lucked out. I used to go to a Johnny Rockets in college that was close by and it was a lot nicer than this location. Either way, I’d take Five Guys over this any day! If you need to eat and are at Evergreen Walk, I’d suggest Moe’s instead.

Gross greasy food. Blah. If I could, I would give zero stars. Go to Red Robin instead.
