Arthur’s Family Dining

My family visits Southgate every summer and Arthur’s is one of our FAVORITE stops. We love the breakfasts, especially the hot cocoa because the whipped cream is REAL whipped cream. My son claims its the best he’s ever had. I too agree that the RANCH dressing is very good. Its not gourmet but its a great selection, friendly staff, and great location for a quick bite in town.

Little dive restaurant. Nothing wrong with that.
Service was good, no complaints there.
Large menu, a lot of options. The broasted chicken is phenomenal!
The ranch dressing at this place is the best I have ever had in my life!!! I asked what brand/​where they get it, the waitress said they make it. May not be true, but it is still soooo good! 4 stars just for the ranch… it makes a difference if a place has good ranch.
Good place to grab some average coney food. If you are in high school, they are open 24 hrs so you can deplete the coffee supply all night long. I know that’s what we used to do 10 years ago, not much has changed. If you don’t want to be annoyed by teenagers, go before 8 pm. Lunch was delightful.

Came, glasses were filthy, place was busy, I couldn’t figure out why. A combination of the dishes and the slow service caused us to leave before we ordered. Seems like a place that thrives on money earned from Medicare and other in-​kind transfers.

Terrible food… Feels like I’m eating food from prison. Staff are ok but place is dirty as hell. Shocked it stayed open so long.

Had probably one of the the worst meal in a restaurant in the last 5 years.
My food tasted and looked like it was heated up in the microwave after it has been frozen for few years. I’m not that picky with food and I usually eat anything but I couldn’t even finish the meal. That rarely happens. Had to get more food somewhere else few hours later.
Needless to say, Will not be going back.
