They consistently burn our to go food. We usually spend around $ 65 per time. Got so bad I had to call to speak to the manager. Emily, the manager, was extremely nice and understanding. She was apologetic and told me she remembered my last name as my family orders to go often. I told her we had to throw a lot of the food out as it was inedible. She took my address, sent us coupons in the mail. It was all handled very professionally. I’ll give this another shot because we have the coupons and because she was so nice. But my parents have since ordered and still get burned food.

Never Been to this restaurant chain before, we were in the area so decided to try it. Rolls were good… I’ll stop there with the pros. The cons: service was so so, it was late afternoon around 2pm, not busy but still had to wait a while in between ordering, bread, unlimited soup etc… Both soups tasted like they came straight out of an expired can(which I’m sure they did), I’ve had fake mashed potatoes before but somehow they managed to invent fake cubed potatoes and carrots. The salad was nothing special, the dressing was definitely wishbone Italian. We also decided to get a small pizza. We each took one slice and didn’t finish or touch the rest. It was partially raw and had so much balsamic dressing that it was too sweet to eat. Wasted $ 36.00. There should be a law against this.

The wife and I have been to many Bertucci’s locations in Connecticut, personally I think Bertucci’s has been going down hill since they stopped making Panini’s sandwiches for lunch, but my wife still likes going so we happened to be in Southington and stopped in at Bertucci’s. The wonderful rolls they usually serve were not hot and soft but cold and crunchy! The salad was OK. We had the lunch pizza’s and even my wife was unimpressed. Wouldn’t go back to this location and I believe Bertucci’s needs to step up their game because the wife and I have become fan’s of the Olive Garden for lunch now.

I have had Bertucci’s in the past and the pizza has always been pretty good. So, we might boyfriend and I decided to go I figured there would be some good options because I have been here before. What made things a little different was thatwe are now Eagan. We ordered a veggie pizza without cheese and eggplant farm without cheese. The eggplant part was so disgusting it was like they cut up some eggplant and put it on the plane with some tomatoes. The dish came out with some nasty pasta. I have been to other restaurants where you order a clamp arm without the cheese and it is delicious. This eggplant was not breaded it was not season it was just that. On top of the quotation lovely

I had a pretty long review typed but here is the short version… this place is a definite PASS. Nice interior, great concept, service is ok, but the food and management stink. This fails the place for me., I have been twice. Once over three years ago and then again the other night. I couldn’t remember why I had only been once before so we tried it again. I was quickly reminded why even though we eat out at a minimum 3 times per week we skip this place. Chicken ice cold, pizza placed on rickety stand which subsequently fell onto floor, new pizza brought out was only half cooked. Ok… check please. I never even wanted to mention any issues because the manager definitely had a «don’t bother me» attitude exuding from him. Unfortunately he came over to ask what was wrong, as I start to explain about the chicken he cuts me off… obviously the guy could care less. Again, why bother asking me? I didn’t say let me speak to the manager i asked the server to box my food so I can cook at home and bring me the check. Anyways, wont be back. Too many other options to waste time at a place that cant get the basics such as food should not be ice cold and/or raw down.

The food was like all bertuccis food– which is pretty good in my opinion. Our wine however was very warm and not at a good temp at all. Our dessert had a bit of onion on it. To top it off– when we mention these things to our waitress she was very rude to us. The whole time we dined she was being very short with us but especially so when we mentioned the onion — as if we put it there. Would not come back to this one. I will drive the 25 extra to west Hartford where they are not unpleasant.

NOTGLUTENFREE Bertucci’s advertises as being a gluten free restaurant. While they’re GF within the letter of the law, I don’t count taking 4 items off the regular menu like ‘salmon, but ask for no sauce’ and ‘salad, but ask for no croutons(and ask for just oil and vinegar) truly a GF restaurant. Especially when the restaurant is known for it’s homemade pastas and pizza. PS– unless you want your kids to eat filet mignon or cod(ask for no breadcrumbs or sauce), they’re going to be stuck with the sausage soup… and no, I’m not making up the sausage soup.

We stopped in at 10:00 pm and were seated immediately. The place was clearing out, there were a couple large groups hanging around having dessert. We ordered a sorkie. I think it is a pie with ricotta cheese and sausage. Our srrver was great, our pizza was up in less than 15 minutes and it was very good.

They changed their recipe for the house rolls recently, and the last few times I’ve been here the food has been sub-par. Disappointing change.

Watermelon lemonade is one of the best drinks I have had. The food is great for a chain and the service is friendly.

We had a small get together here recently on a Friday evening. Despite being extremely busy, we were seated promptly and served quickly by their waitstaff. The food was very good, the noise level was acceptable and we had a great evening. My kids inhale the rolls, they are so good!

I’ve been a Bertucci’s fan for YEARS! One of my favorite chain restaurants. I’ve never really had a bad meal here and this location is pretty decent! Love their bread and the waitstaff is friendly and not annoying at all. They are quick to refill drinks and the bread basket, which is great!

We were here on business. A local coworker recommended this restaurant and we were glad we did! In fact we came back the next night. Andrea was our server and she was great. She remembered our drink orders from the previous night. She even remembered where our coworker came from. They have wonderful thin crust pizza. The manager told us that they have their own tomatoes. The pasta was also good. I had a budino for dessert. It is a thicker type of mousse. Yum! A great place to eat!

I had the lobster ravioli. small amount of food for price, but just enough for me for the night. The sauce was soo rich and buttery that it was overpowering. I wouldn’t have been able to eat any more of the ravioli than what was on my plate. Waitress very attentive and friendly. Service was speedy too. I had pizza from here one night. I never experienced pizza like this before. It wasn’t a soft dough, it was more like a crispy flatbread. I had cheeseless pizza and the sauce needs more seasoning. It was a little bland. Pizza had a good amount of topping. I also had a salad. Unfortunately, it was iceberg lettuce, but the vinegarette dressing was really good.

This Bertucci’s is a lot better than the one that is in West Hartford. The service is great, the waitresses are so nice and prompt. I am not a fan of the pizza so much, but over the summer they had a great seasonal menu and the meal I ordered was delicious. The meals there tend to be a lot better than their pizza. It’s a bit pricey like Olive Garden, but has more options other than just Italian. Over all it’s a nice place for a date or friends.
