Nice local place, clean, gracious staff and good food. I came in looking for wifi as Grace’s came up in my search but it turns out that they do not have wifi. I ate ala cart, potato pancakes w/sour cream plus kielbasa. I will diffinitely be back to explore their extensive breakfast menu further. I strongly suggest you check this restaurant out.

I would come to Grace’s any day! Great food, fair prices, and the best service. Plus their coffee is delicious– not cheap and watery like some places. My favorites are their biscuits and gravy(little bit of a kick to them!) and blueberry pancakes. The home fries are always perfect. Makes me hungry just thinking of them!

Made the unfortunate decision to have breakfast this morning at Grace’s. When I walked in, there were only four other customers in the place so it was far from crowded. I ordered a cup of tea to start then was left alone for twenty minutes — not even given a menu. Then a crowd came in and was promptly served with coffee, juice and menus. Disgusted, I got up to pay for the tea and leave. The waitress finally asked me if anyone took my order, which I then gave her. When it arrived at my table twenty more minutes later, the tasteless omelet had the wrong type of cheese and the toast and home fries were cold and burnt. The food was terrible as was the service. I won’t be going back!

Love this place it’s inexpensive, and has great food, so many kinds of pancakes and french toast, the banana oatmeal pancakes are amazing and so is the banana bread french toast! Great omelets also!

I eat at Grace’s every chance I get — especially on Thursday’s when they have the best chunky Rhode Island Clam Chowder I have ever tasted! And it’s my favorite soup so I try it whenever it’s available. The meals are decent. Not gourmet, but a good place to eat when I’m in between jobs and looking for a decent meal for not a lot of money. I go more for the convenience, excellent prices and quick enough service. One of my very favorite places. The plaza it’s in is kinda ratty looking. I figure they save on rent and pass it on to me, the customer! Wait staff are friendly and the excellent lunchtime specials are only $ 7 to $ 10. I’ve also been for breakfast — excellent portions and — hey, what can you do wrong to breakfast? It’s a homey place where the locals eat. I’m comfortable there.

Typical greasy spoon but with bad service. Waitress brought us a can of soda in, yes in, a glass of ice. She threw our plates down like we were bothering her. Say her filling ice cup with her hands and then touching money and everything. My mother got sick. Told the manager and she could not be bothered.

Never disappoints! I’ve turned my whole family on to this place! I’ve heard that the lunches are amazing but I always get breakfast. I can’t resist the banana nut bread French toast. Yum!

I like this place. So far, I have been here a few times. It’s the same waitresses each time and they ate very pleasant and helpful regarding questions on the menus or specials. It draws an older crowd but I think the food is very good and prices are reasonable. So far I have had bacon egg and cheese sandwich. They make it with 2 eggs and crisp bacon. I really enjoyed! I have seen the buckwheat and whole wheat pancakes and were well reported on. I have only been there for breakfast but there lunch specials have caught my interest. I will return

Great breakfast. This place is a complete hole In the wall. But the food is excellent! The Minnesota pancakes with sausage apples baked right in are DELish! They top them with the Apples and cinnamon. The crepes and omelets are awesome too. The best part is it’s right off The rail trail. My buddies and I will head out early on a Saturday morning and have breakfast at graces because it’s by the end of the trail. Coffee could use some help but it’s a nice place with a great menu, reasonable prices and decent service. Definitely worth trying for bfast.

I’ve been to Grace’s Restaurant for breakfast twice now. It’s average food for breakfast, both food wise and appearance wise. But I really don’t expect much more as most breakfast restaurants in the surrounding area are average at best as well.

We have been going here for weekend breakfast for four years and I think it’s taken a real downhill turn in the last 12 ish months. I have not been able to get a poached egg. There homefries are not just so-so. I ordered an omlette that came with salsa and was served marinara sauce. I asked for the salsa again, and it was then served to me steaming hot straight out of the microwave. I get that the cook probably doesn’t speak English but the waitress should have caught on that salsa isn’t something served hot… It’s still inexpensive even though they have raised their rates considerably. And my husband loves the pancakes here the best of all Southington breakfast joints. We will keep trying them until they get it right again. But not every weekend like we used to.

Local diner — breakfast and lunch only. Inexpensive but mediocre diner food — burgers, club sandwiches, soup, breakfast — not open for dinner. Open WiFi. My burger was undercooked(they didn’t ask what I wanted — it was just barely medium rare). Fries were the same frozen ones you can buy at the supermarket. Soda from a can with a glass of ice. This is a local hangout — if you aren’t known by name, prepare to be «eyeballed» by everyone in the place.
