Hey for a little hole in the wall type of diner, it was pretty decent. Hubs and I stopped in, and got a French onion soup(btw, the price is $ 4.09– quite random?) and it was good however used raw onions, not cooked ones. I enjoyed the broth and cheese. It was not too salty and overdone. I meant to order a Chicken gyro, but made a mistake and ordered sulvaki instead. It came on a bed of rice, and was actually delicious. The chicken was a little dry in some pieces, but came on top of rice, mushrooms, peppers, feta cheese and onions. Hubs ordered a burger and said it was ok, but not much flavor. We had 2 different waitresses, the first one was seriously overwhelmed, and was running from one side of the restaurant to the other. So half of the order was taken by her, the other by another waitress trying to assist her. She was probably just not used to the volume of people who came within a short period of time. We would go back– overall good experience.

Been dying to check this place out after not going for like 25 years. It was OK. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you get. We had lunch but I think I would enjoy dinner and a little bit better. I had a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken seemed like it was frozen chicken… Maybe I’m just spoiled with my home cooking. My boyfriend got the chicken Philly wrap that was on special and that was pretty good. It could’ve used more chicken… The free cup of soup with it was delicious though.

THE Best hidden gem in CT !! Found this place by luck while working in the state. I have eaten 10+ meals here and not one complaint ! You can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner at any time. Food is delicious and very affordable. Two of my favorites are their Chicken Parmigiano and their Corned Beef Reuben ! Enjoy !

This could have been one of my worst dining expierences of my life. This diner is almost as bad as Roxys diner in the city. It took them over an hour to bring our food and the portions were small and the food sucked. Although, the waiters were nice the food was horrible and it smelled in there. I would recomend you never go, it took forever

Been here 4 or 5 times. They are consistently disappointing. The waitress is very nice, courteous and attentive. Very quick service. The food was always subpar. But the last time it was just inedible. Ordered scrod and a baked potato. I wonder how anyone could screw that bad that I could not swallow even a bite. Neither fish nor potato. Had to leave, and I was hungry as hell.

They need to update the prices on their website. I had a great time until my bill came and I was charged $ 7.97 after tax for a meal that says $ 6.49 on their website. The food was delicious, the waitress was charming, and the access to Interstate 84 couldn’t have been easier, but I won’t return until they update the website with accurate pricing.

Overpriced food at sub par quality. I will start by saying the wait staff were very nice and courteous and had quick service. However the food was far from being good quality. I ordered 2 eggs, one if which had half an eggshell intact cooked into it and the second one was half the size of the other with a tiny portion of home fries for $ 8. The rest of the food that was ordered by my party was small portions with very poor quality. Overall we paid $ 50 for three meals for a party of three and left dissatisfied. I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone and will not be returning.

This has been the only diner that’s gotten me to finish a side-dish toast because theirs was delicious. Their menu sports an impressive selection of dishes of which I’ve found no weaknesses(yet). Diner atmosphere was sublime, I’ve always been greeted by the owner/chef; service doesn’t get much better than this.

I was craving diner food and found this gem around the corner. I ordered the stuffed cabbage special, which sounded reasonable for $ 12. When it got to the table I didn’t realize how huge the rolls were. They were delicious. The side salad was pretty good. Fresh ingredients. The home fries were the best. I wasn’t expecting dessert to be included. If you don’t want dessert, they have a glass of house wine with your meal. These people know service. I’ll try and head back in soon.

Cute spot, great food, awesome service. We were vacationing at cocokeys and found this little spot close by. It’s only a few minutes away. It had five star reviews so we decided to give it a try. It was definitely true to its reviews! I had a mushroom and mozzarella omelette. The cheese was so stringy I couldn’t get enough of it. The bacon was amazing. Just the way I liked it, soft and chewy. The waitress was very friendly and chatted us up. Overall great experience. Will definitely come back!

Completely surprised. This place is very good. Not from the area and randomly stopped because we were hungry. Very happy we did. Staff is friendly. Food is homemade and reasonably priced. And how can I turn down a free glass of wine! 10⁄10

This is a nice quaint restaurant with a wonderful staff. My fried clams were absolutely delicious. My husband got a hamburger plate and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We just happened upon this place waiting for our truck to be fixed, but I will make it a point to come back anytime we are in this area.

Very delicious, we were greeted by a waitress from an old restaurant and she immediately recognized us. It felt nice to see her again. My boyfriend I ordered the wings and he got a grilled chicken sandwich and I got a turkey club. Everything was great. We both had a wonderful meal. We were surprised it wasn’t more busy considering it was a Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

I’m going to give this place 5 stars, banking on what it will become! It’s new, the grill isn’t seasoned, the homefries recipe isnt perfected, the cooks, though excellent, havent found their groove yet. But… EATHERE! It’s a standard diner, I don’t quite understand why they call it «mini», its a good sized place, 8 seats at the counter and countless booths. ALL the food is excellent, though as I outlined above, needs some character and panache that only seasoning the grill and finding the groove will provide. I’ve had lunch, breakfast and dinner here and everything was excellent with no complaints! I have met the owners, the wife is a reserved but fun lady to talk to, the husband, a giant blob of a man, was trying to get me drunk at 12pm(sorry dude too early in the day). Good Greek people who seem to have an odd talent for running a place like this! As long as they dont fall into the hygene issues of the last owner or the food safety issues of the one before that, I think they’ll do well here.(This place has had bad luck since the 90s in keeping businesses afloat). Good advertising and good word of mouth will go a LONGLONG way! And they can count on the latter from me.
