I’m an out of towner… and the way the staff there treated me there speaks volumes to me. First of all I spent 10 years in the service industry in management and as wait staff so I know how the service industry can be. The wait staff here went above and beyond what I even asked for. Me knowing the industry when I asked about something… Instead of saying I’m not sure. They brought the most knowledgeable staff member to me.
Which showed me how important each customer is to them. I travel a lot and this is rare.

I went in once after this place changed over from Billy O’s Tavern.
The decorum looks like the man cave of a guy having a midlife crisis.
The bartender didn’t know where half the beers on the menu were in his cooler, or «what the label looked like.»
My friend ordered a martini. He got the «deer in headlights» look. He was then asked «What kind?» so he said «007» (basic vodka martini.) The guy brought back a rocks glass with a neon green concoction in it and a lemon wedge.
Never setting foot in there again.

Nice place inside. A lot classier than the strip mall exterior would lead you to believe. Pretty good tap list. A few more non-​IPA offerings would make me happy. I only had meatball sandwich so I can’t rate the menu. My sandwich was good and very reasonably priced. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Very pleased with the service. Live music every night. Can’t do better than that! I’ll be back!

We had a birthday party at Tipping Chair Tavern. The owner and chef were more than accommodating. The food and atmosphere was perfect for the party. Everyone had an excellent time.

Stopped in a while back and now like to frequent this place often. Staff is always friendly and service is great. Have tried a lot of things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Love all the weekly food special but my go to is the smokehouse burger which is very tender and tasty. They have a great drink menu an amazing draft beer selection including both domestic and craft beers. They have Live music every night and the musicians are amazing.

I’ll never go there again. They can care less about their patrons. Here’s why I say that. I ordered an IPA and noticed the bartender served it in a smaller than standard glass. When I ordered another I asked the bartender to please pour it in the same standard pilsner glass my friends were enjoying theirs in. The bartender came back with the same glass and said they can only use the smaller glasses for IPAs. The bartender clarified that by «they» she meant the owners. She said some kind of nonsense that it had something to do with the alcohol content in craft beers. So, I went down the pyke and had a craft beer in a real glass. They are quite obviously taking advantage if the craft beer craze in a negative way. Not very business savy. If you like craft beers like IPAs, don’t go there. You’ll get ripped off.

Been here many times and it never seizes to amaze me! Last night was the most fun I have had in a while thanks to the delicious food, amazing drinks, and awesome live music. The band knew how to keep us engaged and happy throughout the whole night.
The staff was very good and always making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back soon!

Located in a small strip mall that runs perpendicular to route 322 in Milldale is a neighborhood tavern with a quaint feel. We stopped in for lunch and were pleased to find an extensive menu for choice. Everything was very good, but have to mention we loved the chili and also the fried cheese appetizer. The cheese so so tasty, fried perfectly and the sauce was excellent.
We wanted to order another one, but settled on another beer. Nice selection on tap ! Discovered that they were going to have Popa Chubby performing tonight. they have live music EVERY night. Worth while to stop in and visit.

Can’t say enough good things about this place!!! The food is hands down some of the best in the area and the staff and ownership are incredibly on point! Live music 7 nights featuring the BEST musicans in the state! You really can’t go wrong at this place. Come for dinner and drinks and stay for the bands. From what I can tell no other place is doing anything like this! It’s a refreshing change from the usual!

Been here a few times now and it lies far above and beyond any other bar in the area. Service is always excellent, drinks and food are delicious and come out quick and the environment is super fun. Live music every day of the week and the trivia is really fun for a group of friends to play while eating/​drinking.
Nowhere is perfect but these guys care and will make sure your experience is great every time and that is what makes the difference between 4 and 5 stars at most places.
If you like having good times, this place will not disappoint

Ummm. well def a upgrade from Billy O’s.it is not my favorite buttttt we have stopped here a couple times for drinks. We had the tator tots one time they were good. i need to give it a couple more times before i can really say. I will update after we go back again.

Love Tipping Chair! I was in recently and sat at the bar for some drinks and dinner– such an energetic place with great service and yummy food. I had a martini (or two) and they were full to the brim and perfect! Also, the fried cheese is seriously delicious. I think it’s because it’s provolone, which is infinitely more tasty than your typical mozzarella. Everyone was really nice and the owner was making rounds to check in on everything. Will definitely be back to check out more special drinks and dinner items!

Beautiful spot– bartender with red bandana was too busy playing with her friends to take care of us. Flat cherry wheat, and when it was brought to her attention, she giggles and states «oh– I thought it was flat. «2 other females hanging behind the bar, doing nothing, just chit chatting with a cute guy, no service at all.
Ordered the white mango peach sangria– frozen fruit from the freezer that came out of a bag, More mango juice than wine, and no champagne in cocktail.
Sad, beautiful spot, but I’ll never be back.

My wife, daughter and I went here for dinner for the first time tonight. Wanting to support smaller local businesses I came here with high expectations with 4 stars on Unilocal.Unfortunately my experience was far from the reviews. Although the wait staff was very pleasant and attentive, the food and drinks were not. My wife ordered a raspberry lemonade which was $ 10 for a drink that appeared to be 4 – 5 ounces. But the beverages were not the main problem. The food was the major disappointment. We started off with the fried cheese which was mediocre at best. Then I ordered a burger with blue cheese and caramelized onions. I had about 3 blue cheese crumbles and 2 onion strips that were simply sautéed, not caramelized on top of my severely bland and seemed to be microwaved beef patty assembled atop a greasy mess of a bun. My wife ordered a burger as well and had the same disappointing experience. We did not go there during a performance as our daughter is a little more than a year old and did not want to expose her to that noise level. So needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant and unless things are to be changed I recommend others to heed my warning.

Came here for an early dinner… we sat at the bar and had very attentive service from the young lady working that area.
We ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer which, we got 50% off of for checking in on Unilocal… it was really good. Not the same as mozzarella sticks but still really good. Cheesy deliciousness!
I ordered the burger with sautéed onions and blue cheese and it was good but slightly blander than expected. The steak cut fries were really good — came out nice and hot!
All in all, it was a great meal that satisfied our appetites.
When waiting for our food we noticed that they have live music 7 nights a week as well as a trivia night. The atmosphere was nice and if we lived nearby — this would be a go to spot!

Had a great experience here! Decided to stop in for lunch, the menu looked to have your typical tavern fare, but of course the execution is key.
We went with two of the road rash burgers and the BLT, the burgers were seasoned well and were very juicy, the BLT had great crisp bacon, and was overall an awesome sandwich for the price. The fries were very tasty as well and I kinda regretted not getting the chili fries (there’s always next time!)
The service was great as well, our waitress was friendly and attentive, which is always important.
If I had one piece of feedback, I’d love to see some beers from local breweries, I think that would just give it that extra *oomph*
Overall, all three of us were incredibly happy with the food, service, and atmosphere and we look forward to coming back with friends.

I’ve been here a few times for dinner and drinks with a buddy. Food has always been yummy, decent selection of brews, and the live music is a nice touch. Today was my first time having the chicken breast in a sandwich and the chicken was fantastic (trying to watch my red meat intake lol!).
Sometimes I look at the menu and say «I wish they had more choices», but when I think about it, everything on the menu they do a great job at. Would I rather have a 14 page menu where everything is mediocre at best?
The overall ambiance of the place is very relaxing. The few times I’ve been here I was happy that the live music wasn’t at volume levels you find at a heavy metal concert, you can actually talk to people!
All the bartenders we’ve had have been very attentive and are happy to help out however they can.
I’ll definitely be back, need to try more things on the menu!
