The waiters are muy guapo. The only thing spicier than the salsa is the managers. Ayy, caliente! great for drinks, groups, and takeout! My favorite mexican place in town.

Briefly, I left a very expensive item in a shopping bag and forgot it. I returned 4 hours later and they had put it aside. That is incredible customer service. I spoke to a manager named Francisco and told him I left some money with the Hostess to show my appreciation for what the staff did. Customer service like this is rare. He is very proud of his staff. We will definitely return. And a plus is that the Menu and Service are excellent too. Thank you to Taco Diner for having excellent Customer Service. Thank you Francisco for being so kind and humble when you are the one to be thanked.

This place is great. Service: Very attentive servers & extremely involved management. Food: The fajitas are awesome. The Mambo Taxis Margaritas are strong and delicious. Great kids menu. Decent prices considering it’s in Southlake Town Square. It’s a great patio to sit and watch the Ferraris and Lamborghinis valet at Trulucks. Oh, they don’t take reservations on the weekends so if you want a patio spot you’re going to have to stake out early. I’ll be back for sure.

My favorite mambos! Great sauces — that’s what brings me back. The hot salsas are to die for. Decent but small patio. Good service is all about who you get as your waiter. Clean. My kids love the mango water. Vegetarian taco is yummy — they took off the fried avocado taco, which irritates me.

Great customer service! My husband and I came for dinner and unfortunately they had run out of eggs for the chilaquiles. It happens, so I ordered the Pasole. The manager came out to apologize and also knew that I was the one ordering gluten free. He was so friendly, and brought guacamole. The food was delicious and the service was so friendly and thoughtful. He even comped my portion of the meal which wasn’t expected or needed. Will definitely be coming back.

Their motto is Made With Love — Served In Style. From my lone experience for lunch today, and that of the other three diners at the table with me, every word is true. Taco Diner is a great concept, and very well executed. The four entrees that we ordered were a feast for the eyes. Each had a freshness about it and was perfectly balanced in taste. I include in this comment the generous serving of chips and the salsas they were served with. Dining is not all about the food. So, I will not neglect to mention that the table service was excellent and the entire place was as clean as could be. My thanks to Abraham and his staff for a great experience. You live up to every word of your motto.

I love this place. They have seating inside and out which is great for Texas weather. The food is always good and the service is fast. You can get traditional Tex Mex tacos or more creative tacos with pulled pork or chicken and grilled pineapple! Their rice is also really good. No complaints at all, can’t wait to one back!

Awesome little taco place in Southlake town center. The wait staff and management were all really nice and attentive. The bbq pulled pork tacos with sweet onions were amazing! Really juicy and tender with a sort of sweet bbq sauce and sliced sweet onions on top. The beans and rice as well as the chile con queso with beef were good as well. Decent cocktail and beer selection. They did have a very limited dessert menu but the pralines they have were delicious! Its in a really nice area of Southlake surrounded by other retail shops.

well the first thing I’d like to say is that the taco diner is a very delicious place and it has the best queso around Southlake! I would like you to know their bones in the chicken but other than that it’s fine! always request Andes he’s gr8.

The food was alright and the prices were fair. I went with a group of 6 people and they were able to accommodate us easily. I thought the environment was different than most taco shops which was a cool change of pace. I have nothing bad to say about Taco diner. However, It didn’t really wow me in any way either.

My wife and I met my in-laws here last night. When we got there it was a pretty full house but we did not have to wait long for seating. We were greeted by the server with a couple bowls of tortilla chips and several servings of both a red sauce(very spicy) and a green sauce(much more mild). Typical plates average around $ 10-$ 15 and for such a packed house the service was not surprisingly a little slow but very justified. I ordered 2 Felipe Cheese Steak tacos and 2BBQ Pulled Pork Tacos. The Felipe Cheese Steak tacos were delicious and the Pulled Pork tasted exactly how I figured they would but it was weird to me to be eating BBQ with Mexican rice, chips and salsa. All-in-all a good restaurant with an authentic Mexican feel to it.

great food at a great price! my brother ordered the chicken enchiladas, I got the crispy beef enchiladas and my mom got the brisket tamales. everyything was delicious! AND their complimentary chips and salsa are the bomb. this location is a lot smaller than the one in Las Colinas, but it has a great outdoor seating area. Our waiter was really friendly as well and even packed our togo boxes.

Tasteless food, over sweet agua-fresca and mediocre service. Two salsas offered with chips were flavorless and water down. Tortilla soup lacked flavor. Tinga tacos were unimpressive. Kids crispy taco came with beans that were so over dry that spoon could stand in them. Kids burger was so dry it was inedible. Fries were decent if that counts. Asked about level of sweetness of agua-fresca and was told it wasn’t too bad. Horrific is more like it. None of us drank them.

I had the brisket tacos and they were really good. The corn tortillas were awesome. It was served with rice and an avocado salad, which was made up of shredded lettuce, a couple tomato slices and several avocado slices. I LOVE avocados! All in all I had a great meal, but the chips and salsa were subpar. The chips tasted stale or like they had been cooked too long. I also wasn’t a big fan of the salsas, especially the spicy one. I have this 4 stars because my meal was so good.

If I had known in advance that this place was owned by the same owners as Mi Cocina I would have never spent .01 here. Why? These taco vending thugs destroyed three local Mom & Pop restaurants in College Station, Texas, home of Texas A&M University where I have a home and semi-primary residence. See, we had three taco places by the exact same name, yet not this big chain of burrito pushers. Apparently they were in fear that it would harm them so they sued the lady, she changed names of all three places in Aggieland to Polly’s Cocina but still went out of business. Yeah yeah I am biased. As we had been eating at different restaurants non stop all day I was very full so just ordered a plate of Pastor tacos and a Taxi mixed drink. The server seemed annoyed at such a small order so her tip was adjusted accordingly. I normally tip great. But make me feel like a bother and the tip will be disturbing as well. :) The tacos were fantastic! The marinated pork was grilled perfectly with the pineapples(which is actually a German inspired Tex-Mex recipe in Central Texas) and they rocked for the price. I won’t ever eat at any place I know is owned by the same greedy thugs that destroyed local restaurants in one of my hometowns, but I am glad I got a chance to try it before I knew I was giving money to an enemy.
