Struggling to understand why this place always seems empty. I have yet to have anything here that I didn’t enjoy. Probably the only place I’ve ever experienced that will actually leave you craving a salad. The Cobb salad is a must try. Owned and run by very friendly people.

Should be packed! One of the better restaurants in the north fork, reasonably priced and fresh! Our wait staff was friendly and personable! The food is fresh and delish! Fried calamari is probably one of the best we have ever had! The crab cakes are yummy and the shrimp santorini was cooked to perfection! Only negative was an employee barking orders and shouting to the waitstaff as if she was in her home, unprofessional, but the calamari is worth the stop in! Ok gave it another try! Pork souvlaki was yummy, forget the chicken parm! Fries are fresh snd perfectly cooked! Our waitress was nice! Again, i see why people are turned off by staff, one of the young ladies was as toxic and verbally abusive to a young waitress, apparently she was sick and tired of her, «she’s going to lose it on her soon» i guess she didnt realize that she lost it slresdy and showed her nasty side, the poor young woman that was scolded was sad and the 6 patrons mortified! The two toxic staff members should be barred from the diner, i am sure business would pick up without them yelling, ranting and raving like they were home! Patrons could better digest there food! !

Typical diner food but the service was weird. Almost impossible to find the waitress. and the hostess who seated me seemed incredulous to the fact that I’ve never heard of a particular fish instead of just explaining what the fish was she looked at me like I was crazy. I think its called porgy. Never heard of it. food was just typical.

Very simple diner/café place with a bar area — a brick wall divides the dining area. The menu is varied enough — something for everyone, including all day breakfast. The quality of the food — diner; decent but under seasoned. We went for lunch, started with corn fritters followed by the Nofo fried flonder sandwich and the burger melt(known as a patty melt outside of long island). The fries were nice enough but the onion rings had such a hard, crumb breading that the onions were less than noticeable. With so many other choices in the area, I would look elsewhere — unless you’re looking for all day breakfast on the Nofo.

Your average diner, nothing special. Gyro is nowhere near as good as Hellenic’s, but of course that’s a high comparison. Got breakfast here and they completely messed up my order, and it was overpriced. Never. Going. Back.

I was staying in Greenport for the weekend and we wanted to discover a new place where we can just grab something to eat, not that other restaurants are bad in Greenport we just wanted to eat some comfort food. By the time we got there it was already late so i did take out and i must say, it was one of the best takeouts i have done in a while. We ordered the lobster ravioli and the bar platter. The bar platter comes with chicken fingers, jalapeño poppers and fried mac and cheese. The lobster ravioli tasted really fresh and the appetizers were amazing. If you happen to stop by or your staying at Greenport, and all the restaurants close by the time you’re done with your errands make sure to give Six Three One a try it’s definetly not your typical diner food.

We arrived with a party of 12 – 13, half of which were children. Not one of the wait staff offered a high chair or referenced the children’s menu. The staff on a whole seemed disinterested and paid little or no attention to anyone who wasn’t someone they had seen before. The appetizers came out relatively slow and the main course was brought out even slower. Funny part is, we called in advance and said we were coming with a party of 12+. The food came out and was underwhelming at best. For the amount of money that was obviously spent on location and décor you would think that they would spend a little on training and etiquette for their staff as well. This was my first and likely last experience there. If I want a disinterested diner type feel I’ll stay in the city.

We stayed at the Heron across the street and called in a late night dinner. We ordered the hot open roast beef sandwich and cream of turkey soup. The soup was good but the roast beef sandwich was awful. The meat was minced almost to a hash; like a roast beef milk shake. We were so disappointed.

We finally visited Six Three One over the weekend, and had a great time, the Chef and his super-duper Mom were awesome, checking on everybody occasionally to make sure all the customers were happy, the wait staff were very helpful, attentive without hovering, prompt, and knowledgeable, there were a lot of customers and there was a delightful, soothing ambience matching a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The décor gets an A plus from me, this restaurant has the promise of a relaxed, spacious, hassle free experience, glass doors, brick walls with contemporary décor, fully loaded bar, & beautiful picnic tables outside awaiting summer. The FOOD gets a TENOUTOFFIVE !!! *** We had Greek salad — a delightful fusion of greens while still being a greek salad with the olives, feta cheese in abundance and of course anchovies — YUM !!!, *** Their Octopus Salad was to say the least — very tasteful such that we got into an interesting discussion about the merits of Octopus & their tentacles — LOL *** Cheeseburgers were big & juicy, mine was medium rare and hubby’s well done– both cooked to perfection & the buns were fresh and not soggy at all . *** Per my hubby — their spinach pie aka Spanakopita was so good he did not even leave me a piece ! Our burger orders came loaded with coleslaw, pickles and lots of French fries. We were watching the food other customers were having — yummy looking French toasts(yes they have breakfast all day !!!), uniquely presented salad platters, etc., they looked like they came out of the Food Network :) For such a delightful culinary experience, our bill was a steal, very affordable — I’d definitely keep coming back :):):)

Great little diner and an eclectic menu. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was seated right away. Delicious coffee! Had an omelette that was very good-almost too much food. I would definitely go again.

62375 Main Road Southold, NY11971 Hearing that the owners also own a diner up west makes sense. The food is definitely not diner food, but one could draw the parallels with dishes like gyros and souvlaki. I can see this as a good local hangout similar to founders tavern with same type moderately priced and varied menu. The food was good and service friendly. Yes the bar is open. The sweet potato salad is just weird. It sounds like it should good, but its just all wrong

My family went to lunch at the newly opened 631 on Rte. 25 this past Sunday. The atmosphere inside is bright and very casual. The food was great. My daughter ordered buttermilk pancakes. They gave her three huge pancakes that were the fluffiest, lightest pancakes she ever had. The portion was actually too big — my husband and I had to help her finish it. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich. Usually restaurants give you a huge hunk of bread with a little turkey. 631 served me a normal size piece of ciabatta bread piled high with moist turkey and gravy. It was served with french fries which were crisp and not greasy. The portion was very generous. My husband ordered the beef souvlaki. He said it was great. The beef was tasty and tender. His whole meal was perfect. The prices were very reasonable.

Fresh fresh fresh! Seafood from local waters. Callamari had light, flaky crust. Chicken fingers had crispy panko bread crumbs. Even cole slaw was freshly made. Portwich sandwich(Virginia ham, pan fried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella with herbed oil on ciabatta bread) was a hit at our table of 7. Good burgers — fresh, not frozen. Service was friendly and attentive.
