Heard good things wanted to try for the first time… 1st mistake going through the drive thru, the girl huffed when we said we were checking menu, we had never been here, didn’t know anything. She made us feel very uncomfortable we just wanted to cancel and leave however we got our sandwiches, I a tuna and my husband roast beef. My husband had literally two pieces of meat. He was very upset. Tuna was OK. Won’t be returning

Just finished my first(and last) sandwich from Jimmy John’s. I work in the industrial park across the street and needed to do some off-hours work today. Since I had not eaten breakfast I decided that I would give Jimmy John’s a try. I ordered the Smoked Ham Club sandwich and proceeded to the service window. I paid for my order and was quickly handed a sandwich, napkin, menu, mayonnaise and mustard packets. Not knowing what to expect, I went to my office and opened the sandwich. Quite frankly I was severely unimpressed — French bread that was partially hard from sitting out in the NV dry weather too long and some ham and cheese. According to the menu, what I had ordered was also to have lettuce and tomato — not a drop of veggies to be had on my lackluster sandwich. From now on, when I get a craving for a sub sandwich, I will go to Yellow Submarine. They haven’t let me down yet! :)

It’s was ehh. okay. When I arrived to the location the whole staff was caught up in the back room with what seemed to be like they were caught up watching something. I’ve worked in the sandwich industry myself for many years in the past, so I tend to notice little things. Like how all of their hands weren’t washed before putting on gloves.(Yeah you’re wearing gloves, But still idk where you hands have touched) or what exactly you guys were doing in the back. one of the people also adjusted his hat while making my sandwich. Gross bro. Yeah they’re pretty fast but sloppy. I ordered a totally tuna. One of my faves from Jimmy Johns. Immediately upon receiving the sandwich. I could Immediately tell it was gonna be a messy one. On account of the sandwich felt wet when I grabbed it. It also felt like it could’ve been wrapped tighter in the wax paper. So contents don’t get messy. Got home. Of course Lettuce all over the place except in the sandwich along with tuna predominantly everywhere except inside the sandwich. Tina could’ve had a better strain. Or mix. There was tons of juice once I unraveled the sandwich. Safe to say I probably won’t come back here any time soon. Maybe in a couple months. Also safe to say. I ate the sandwich. So it wasn’t completely bad. Lol. In the meantime I’d recommend any of the other Jimmy Johns locations in the meantime. Hopefully this location steps their game up, and gets up to par with all the JJ’s that are killing the game. Lol.

I am so disappointed! I ordered 48″ slims for a party and asked them to cut into fourths but was told no! When I asked why not? I was told because it is a silly policy of theirs. I own a business very close to this Jimmy Johns and was looking forward to some lunch at this location periodically but I cannot frequent a ‘NO’ business

Can I get a mayonnaise sandwich please? I ordered a #11 no mayo and all I got was stale bread, processed turkey and gobs of nasty mayo. People rave about how good this place is, it was my second time here and I think they have the worst sandwiches made. Gourmet? Nope. No yellow mustard either unless you want to squirt it on from a packet. They did offer me Dijon but if you don’t know the difference between the two then you have no business making sandwiches. That’s un-American, and from a place named after a total American boy. Jimmy John’s sucks!

Let me start by saying my wife and I have eaten at this Jimmy Johns 4 – 5 times a week since it opened. The employees are always friendly and the food has almost always been great. However they recently switched their bread and it now is hard like it is day old bread. The only thing that really separates these sub places is the bread and if we liked hard day old tasting bread we could go to Subway. We will no longer be eating at Jimmy John’s unfortunately.

First time here. Very basic sandwich. Subway is better. Customer service very basic too.

Ordered a ham and turkey sandwich, got 1 piece of ham, 1 piece of turkey. My daughter ordered the sandwich without produce and got a normal amount of meat. I’ve been to many Jimmy John’s, this one is by far the skimpiest when it comes to sandwiches. Eat somewhere else if you are actually hungry and not affluent.

This place always amazes me. You barely have time to finish ordering when they call you’re number. They make you feel really good as a customer. The food is good. I mean it’s hard to go wrong with Jimmy John’s. The store is nice and clean. The staff are nice and clean! I recommend

I do not know exactly what it is, but Jimmy Johns has got me hooked. There sandwiches are so good, with delicious vegs and cold cuts. There bread is so light and fluffy, it does not fill you up at all. I decided to try them for lunch, at there new location in the legends shopping center near target. I ordered the Vito, it comes with salami, pepperoni and ham and all kinds of fresh veggies. There slogan is freaky fast, i went through the drive through and ordered and by the time i got to the window the order was ready in under a minute. That is freaky fast, and it was delicious. In my opinion Jimmy Johns has the other two chain sandwich shops beat hands down. There chips are there own brand and are thick, not to greasy and lightly salted. I will definitely be back, and i am so glad that they opened a store in sparks.

Jimmy John’s sandwiches are good, but nothing spectacular, at least to me. The bread tastes fresh, the meat is too and the sandwiches are decent, there’s just nothing particularly noteworthy or special about these sandwiches taste-wise for me. The service here however was lighting fast, very efficient and it’s very easy and simple to order. They have a friendly staff and the place is immaculate. They deliver too. The service here will bring me back. I like that they sell day old bread at a discount too.

I love love love jimmy johns. For the longest time I have been jealous of Reno for having more than one jimmy johns and sparks having none. I really love fast food. But when it actually is really fast and delicious, that brings me even more joy. I think another great draw for me is the availability and options that kids really enjoy. My kids don’t need thirty seven topping on a sandwich to enjoy it. Jimmy johns is fantastic for its simplistic variety. The only thing I would like to change is when I order jimmy johns for delivery, I would love it if they delivery person actually said, «Jimmy John’s!», when I open the door. Other than that, 100% recommend this restaurant location.

I was surprised my sandwich didnt taste like it normally does(JJ on longely usually lunch spot). I was in Sparks today so I thought Id try it out. It was pretty busy but fast as usual. I ordered a number 6 with sprouts but when I opened my sandwhich It was also falling apart so I had to refit it. Probably wont be back to this spot.

My first time at a Jimmy John’s was a fabulous experience. I had 4 sandwiches to get and I was in and out in under 15 minutes and it was busy! Bonus points for speed. The sandwiches are basic, but the ingredients are fresh and good quality. If you are looking for something quick and somewhat healthy its worth a stop. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I did ask for sprouts on my sandwich and they forgot to put them on, there is no extra charge for sprouts so I didn’t make a deal out of it but was a little disappointed to see that they got left off.

I came with my husband and 2 children,(8 and 8 months). The outside of the restaurant was clean but the trash RIGHT next to some of the seating was too smelly to sit next too. There was no wait at the register, which was nice but the sandwich maker who was running the register for a moment was pissy and rude. He took my order while sucking his teeth and did not take his gloves off to touch the register or to then make my sandwiches. I sent my husband next to order his sandwich after my and my son’s order and the attitude from the cashier/sandwich maker did not change. We ordered three sandwiches, 3 chips, three drinks and 1 pickle yet we only got the combo price on one of those and that was when another cashier came up to the register to take over for the sandwich maker. Once we got our food it was good. I got the Vito with no mayo, regular chips and a Dr Pepper. My son got a slim 5 with chips and a bottle of water and my husband got a BLT with chips and a Dr Pepper as well. It was 92 cents, so I was not terribly broken up over it, but it was still almost $ 3 altogether that we should have saved with combos. The food did come quickly and was quite tasty. The bread was fresh and fabulous and made the whole restaurant smell homey. The music and environment was great and there were not tons of people so it was relaxing. We finished our meal and ordered three cookies to go. I had to nurse my daughter so went to sit in the car but found out she had a soiled diaper so she needed a diaper change. I was more than distressed to find out that there was no changing station in the very large single woman’s bathroom! It is 2015, this is a new location, there is no reason in this place or age that there is not a diaper changing station in any place that serves the public. I had to go stand and change a diaper in the pouring rain during a flash flood situation because they didn’t have a changing station! Let me say that I will be writing to the company as irritating as that sounds! This was my first Jimmy Johns experience and I was hoping for more but this location did not stand up to its reputation.

Yeah… this place sucks. It’s very basic sandwiches and by basic I mean BASIC. They only provolone cheese?! AREYOUKIDDINGME? I’m more of a cheddar cheese kinda gal, so I was pretty disappointed with that. The bread was pretty lame and not fresh, plus they we’re out of wheat. like okay?! The smoked ham was nothing special or memorable, I could’ve got a sandwich cheaper at Togo’s or Subway. Won’t be back

Yep just a 2-star experience. This place is very simplistic offering nothing super special what so ever. The sandwich was very plain and very boring. It’s barely a notch up from a sorry Subway. The not-so-fresh white bread was so-so and again nothing special. The smoked ham was just ok. I wanted turkey but they ran out. The also ran out of wheat bread. Got charged extra for a simple pickle(huh?)…why is a sandwich business charging extra for a pickle? Plus it’s a pickle on steroids and don’t need quite that much. Ohhh well I guess. I agree staff here is very lackluster and is a reason as well to low Unilocal scores this location has. I def have had better sandwiches elsewhere but happy to try a new place while out on vacay in Reno/Sparks area. Next!

I was so happy that Jimmy John’s came to Reno. But as usual I get disappointed with the bad service. The sandwiches are very good, fresh vegetables and the bread is yummy great texture! the whole wheat is amazing! Super soft and moist. The first time I went I had lunch inside the restaurant and I did not like the service. Sad because they have a lot of people there but they are not trained. I wanted a whole wheat, turkey sandwich they gave me a white bread. They didn’t offer to put cheese on the sandwich and I thought they were already putting it on the sandwich. I forgave them because their sandwich was so good! On my second attend I used the drive thru and I thought the service was better. That was just before I opened the bag and realized they only put one napkin for two sandwiches. Again my sandwich was great but service. They are new I hope they improve.

I ran into this new location today on my lunch break in a hurry to grab a sandwich because the location was convenient and really close to where I was. I had tried Jimmy Johns once before in South Reno and was not horribly impressed but was optimistic and decided to give the chain another shot. It smelled awesome when I first walked in — just like fresh baked bread which is something I’ve never smelt at another sandwich place. A very nice gentleman was patient with me while I looked at the menu and told me to take my time. I chose the #5 and he immediately suggested the #9 which is the same thing but has double meat and ham. I wasn’t hungry enough for a super large sandwich so I stayed with the #5. During the next 60 seconds I asked how much the delivery fee was and I had 3 different employees pitch in the conversation talking about the sandwiches and telling me that the delivery fee was about .40 cents per item(Say what??? Crazy cheap!) The employees were all very friendly and eager to help. The reason we only had 60 seconds of conversation is b3ecause that’s how long it took for them to hand me my ready to go wrapped sandwich. All done and made fresh. Wowzers! They really are crazy fast! I just finished eating and it tasted just like any other sandwich from any other sandwich shop. I can’t sing praises for flavor and the rolls are super skinny so it’s not as filling as other places. It was a good, ordinary sandwich and I will go back because the employees are friendly and the location is close. I will order from them also because the prices are decent and they deliver which is great for those«don’t have time to leave for lunch» days and those«having beers and forgot to get dinner» nights. *****BUTWAIT! THEREISMORE!!!****** I decided that the fam-bam should try Jimmy Johns as well so I had them all pick from the menu and we ordered for delivery. Everyone liked the sandwiches and said they would order them again. Delivery took almost 30 minutes(we live about 3 minutes away) so I don’t know if they really have«crazy fast delivery» but we will still be ordering again. Maybe it’ll be faster next time?
