Pizza Baron – Sparks

Honestly this place is pretty close to our house so we though we would give it a try. I read the reviews and was hopeful they maybe changed. They haven’t.
We ordered mozzarella sticks and pizza to go. The guy on the phone made sure to let us know we called the sparks locations. It was nice to have him confirm we called the right location but he almost seemed bugged we were calling. Not a big deal but almost made me regret ordering before even getting the food.
When I picked up the pizza the staff were friendly. It looked extremely slow since I was the only one picking up.
Unfortunately the pizza was not good. The crust tasted like a frozen pizza. The toppings were blah as well. This was picked up and driven straight home (less than 3 min drive) so it was still hot. Nothing to do with being cold or sitting awhile. The good side was the mozzarella sticks were ok. Not horrible but I wouldn’t say my favorite. So just ok.
I really dislike having to agree with the other reviews but over not a good experience. Hopefully they can get better ingredients and train the staff on how to answer the phone.

ate at the sparks pizza baron, service was amazing! everyone was so kind & the experience was great. the food was delicious & came out right on time! this is definitely a family, friendly place & I would recommend it to anyone looking for some great pizza & wings!

On Vacation from California. Came across this place and horrible service… Unprofessional staff. Definitely pass on this place, food isn’t worth the experience. Manager «Will» isn’t much help either.

Best pizza in town! Was super pumped when I learned I didn’t have to drive across town to pick up Pizza Baron pizza anymore as they added a location in Sparks. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. They answer the phones promptly and have a lot of variety to choose from with their menu. Sometimes I am in the mood for wings too. Definitely a spot I recommend.

Funny thing is we ordered a pizza for delivery about 6 weeks ago and it was fine. Then last weekend, June 27 we ordered pizzas and wings for pickup, for a kids birthday party… When we placed the order they asked what temperature «buffalo» wings we wanted, we said mild. Well they were kind of a soggy BBQ sauce and not good. The pizza was gross too. Like they changed over to using frozen crust or something. The place is lame.

Great wings at the best price! My go to place for my wing cravings, and they are open till 2am.
Always pleasant on the phone when I place an order for pickup or delivery.
Althought it takes 30 – 45 minutes for the wing delivery, so be patient.

Our family eats here frequently on Saturday nights. The pizza and wings are always wonderful, and the manager is super friendly! We love this place! It’s a hidden hot spot that you can pretty much count on getting in and out of quickly!

Ordered pizza and chicken fingers for delivery. It took a long time and we were super disappointed. We ended up throwing most of it away because it didn’t taste good.

My boyfriend went here to pick up a pizza to go. After he paid and while he was waiting for the pizza the guy that took his order picked up the tip jar (my boyfriend didn’t tip since we simply ordered a pizza to go) and tapped it on the counter to get to who ever was making the pizzas attention and made a gesture to imply that no tip was left. After that all my boyfriend could think of was that he was signaling to the cook that no tip was left so mess with the pizza. Do I know for a fact that’s what was going on? No, but what else was I supposed to think. Needless to say we didn’t take a chance on eating the pizza.

I would have to say this is a very good place. We ordered a pizza and we asked them if we could do something different than other pizza places and they made us a super good custom pizza. Customer service is very nice. They will hook you up. The wings are delicious. We choose pizza baron or pizza plus any day. They have better wings and better quality pizza.

This place is horrible. The wings were so weird. Almost like there were shards of bones in the meat. The food Got my hole family sick. Disgusting. Do not go there. The manager is a jerk. If he is the owner, he is a joke. Tell your friends not to go here or they will regret it.

This place is a disappointment from other pizza barons I’ve been to. No beer. TV was blasting so the kitchen could hear it. Workers were sitting around in the restaurant area. music blasting in the kitchen as well. Service blows and don’t worry if your a girl, the kitchen guys will come out and creep and stare at you!:/. I give it two stars because their pizza is good.

So… We recently came to the new sparks location on Vista and Baring. First off some team mom walked in behind us, moved all the table and chairs for her team to came in and then walked around us in line and went to the other side of the counter! And the guy helps her first!!! We wait, for about 5 more minutes and get our order in. Sit down and one of the few seats left and watch the tv while we wait. About another 5 minutes goes by and the team of teenage girls walks in. The employee gives them the remote to the tv and switches it to Netflix for them to choose what to watch. Really!!! The teenagers choose some program that is rated tv-​14 and my children are stuck in this same room. We haven’t even tried the food yet, but so far I am NOT impressed! Horrible customer service and needs another worker behind the counter, this one guy can’t keep up with the workload of a Friday night.

Customer service is horrible. Inappropriate adult cartoons where playing while they let a small softball team take over the entire restaurant including and the manager handled the group very poorly. The guy working the counter was more worried about taking pictures with the softball girls then serving his customers. Our food sat on the counter while he joked with the softball team and allowed them to take over the restaurant and TVs
Pizza was not that great. Crust had no flavor. Overpriced for the Quality. Probably won’t be back. Go somewhere else.
