Went to Port of subs for the first time today with my daughter and it was wonderful! My daughter has severe food allergies and this place treated us so well and accommodated her every need. She had a ham sandwich on white bread with chips a drink and fruit roll up. She is allergic to milk, eggs and all nuts. We will most definitely be back to this place for more.

I was driving home from work when I noticed a new Port of Subs, I wanted to get something for my kids and thought this would be a healthy choice. The manager gave me the softest bread I’ve ever had, there was just the right amount of everything on it. They didn’t over power the sandwich by adding too much and they were very willing to change gloves and wipe everything down since my son is allergic to onions. I’ve never had better service at Port of Subs. I will definitely be coming back!

This new store is not far from my house, so I had higher hopes for it. I would like to think they will improve. An online order placed to be ready for pickup at 6pm had not even been started at 5:57pm when I arrived there. The bread was on the stale side, and they were not generous with the oil and vinegar. The sandwich was not well seasoned with the salt, pepper and oregano. The store also has some issues on stocking and ordering. There were almost no chips available, and one stale cookie left. As today was the first day they had dealt with the high schoolers since opening, I am going to give them another chance in a few weeks. I hope they will get their act together soon.

This Port Of Subs is located in the building on the corner of Prater and Rock Blvd once a Yummy’s Pizza. I live in the Northwest Reno area and typically do not venture this far for Port Of Subs since there are plenty next to me, but we were out and about and I wanted to run in for some sandwiches. The new shop is clean, and really just a replicate of most of their locations. Nothing too fancy! I felt that I didn’t have a great experience here prompting to write a review. I am a born and raised Nevada girl and have always been a fan of this franchise so I was a little shocked with the quality of food I received. My order was to go, my family’s typical 3 favorite sandwiches and while they did everything the«same» there were a few hiccups such as portions; they are not generous here like other locations I normally go to. On my sons sandwich the gal literally put 4 olives on a small, when asking for pickles I got one, when asking for spread it was a drizzle; everything I had to ask for was EXTRAEXTRA and even that was what you get at any other location by default. I felt bad for nagging and having a hungry toddler crying at my feet so I figured I’d be happy with what they made me. Once I got home, I found my food to be DRY and something completely unsatisfactory about the way the only sandwich I ever order. The bread was gross(almost tasted dried out or stale), lack of Mayo/mustard was depressing and no generosity in any of the toppings or shakers for that matter. I felt I should have baby sat more and been a bit more meticulous in order to make sure my food would at least taste decent, but like I said this is so uncommon for a Port of Subs that it really needs to be addressed. This is a great spot for a sandwich shop especially since the one up the street closed.
