Having not had port of subs in forever, a wrap sounded perfect on a hot day. Lunch time, busy line is usually a good sign, however, this was the worst port of subs experience I’ve ever had. Everyone ahead of me had simple sandwiches, and seemed like every item on every sandwich was not only sloppy and rushed, but completely skimped. I ordered a #3 wrap, extra olives and pickles, lettuce and tomato. Simple enough. I had one tomato. A fist follow lettuce, six or so olives an a single pickle. I understand that cost of biz is constantly going up, but I can’t be expected to pay 7 bucks for a half assed almost wrap. Clean it up guys… people work hard for their money to not be cheated on their already overpriced lunch,

Friends and neighbors, I am sad to say that this Port of Subs location is no longer in business. The owners had to close for personal reasons. I ate here at least once a week… I am so disappointed…

I received very rude service at the 662 N. McCarran Blvd location; as I was leaving one of the counter girls yelled«screw you» to me because I would not answer her call to come back and order. This brought me to the 1195 Rock Blvd location. I was quite relieved to not only see amazing service, but to also see the store owner working alongside his staff, making sandwiches. After earning my respect from that observation; he further earned it by apologizing profusely for the previous service I received at the other location. He was even more accommodating by providing me with the number to the corporate office to file my complaint, and dialing it on his store phone. The staff was super friendly. They made our sandwiches precisely to our(somewhat confusing) order. And his compassionate response to my upset attitude helped make me feel like a valued customer. I wish I had his name. Which I will be sure to get when I return. The previous store has forever lost me as a customer — but what they have lost this store has gained! I highly recommend this place for anyone’s sandwich needs!

Friendly Staff — Great Sandwiches. wish they had Pepsi products… but it’s a coke town… for the first location, they are still going strong.

The sandwiches are always excellent, they have recently done an interior facelift with new tables and a counter, and they have always been very nice to me. I used this store for catering several events I have hosted and the platters are always generously portioned and appealing. I lost a receipt for one event and after nearly a month I went back for a copy which they produced without a problem. I have always felt the owners & the employees at this shop are more generous with their portions than other Port of Subs locations too. I’m partial to the tuna fish melt at this location because I’m very wary of having tuna at any shop I don’t trust. The melt was a seasonal(or short-time offering, I’m not sure) sandwich I ask for all the time and they make it up for me. My experiences here have always been good.

This location brings down the reputation Port of Subs has worked for in their 40 plus years in the area. Sandwiches are adequate, as long as you don’t try to order anything other than the standard. The owner is very rude, and the staff doesn’t care — not bothering to answer the phone and acting as if it is cruel to make them help you if you show up in person. Avoid this location at all costs — go to McCarran near Prater or Mill at Kietzke. There they know customers are what they are there for.

Very good sandwich and nice store but not a particularly friendly guy manning the counter. He looks disinterested in his job.
