I totally dig on this TJ Maxx. I go every few weeks or so to check out the brand name handbags, sunglasses and shoes. They have great clothes and some really awesome home décor pieces. My only gripe which is why it’s getting 4 stars because of 5 is because the good hand bags(Dooney, MK, Kate Spade etc.,) don’t always come with a dust bag so I have to get one on Ebay which drives me nuts. 1st world problems. Parking is never an issue and the employees are always very nice and make conversation with you. The store and the dressing rooms are always clean and the lines are never long because TJ Maxx knows how to staff more than one cashier at a time. A++ to TJ Maxx!

You’re gonna strongly dislike me when you hear how it all went down… «So you’re going for the 62-year-old receptionist in a chiropractors office look?» It was too late, the words escaped my mouth before I had a chance to sensor them. It used to happen to me a lot but I’ve been working on it. My wife disappeared back into the fitting rooms after shooting me a dirty look. Luckily no one else heard me or the dirty look would have turned into the silent treatment. I was not extremely helpful on this trip. That’s kinda what you get from me when asked to stand and judge outfits at Tj Maxx. Well, anywhere really. At least the store wasn’t busy that day. I feel like Tj Maxx is a decent store, though the Sparks store does seem to stock much less than the Reno store(seriously, I think they just get Reno’s hand-me-downs). Even with a bit of a limited selection I’ve found some nice deals here and the store is clean and well organized. You’ve gotta give kudos for that because people treat any store that’s considered discounty like it’s a yard sale. I see people drop clothes on the floor and then… Leave them. On the floor. Just walk away like they didn’t just knock some clothes on the floor. My momma taught me better than that. But that’s another story. On this trip we both found some good deals. I walked away with 3 shirts, running shorts and 2 pairs of high-tech moisture-wicking chonies. Not bad considering I hadn’t planned on buying anything for myself. My wife on the other hand recently changed jobs and has to dress professionally now, which translates to spending a boat load of money on Kasper suits and high heels. We decided a 500 $ cap was appropriate and she was able to stay well within that. So thank you Tj Maxx for taking just a tiny bite out of that boat load of cash. She found some great business attire and stayed within our budget. And I bought her lunch and gave puppy dog eyes to apologize for my rude comments. Not the first time, but hopefully the last?
