You treated customers in a rude and unprofessional manner. Now you’re closed. Shocking.

I grab a salad bar once in a while, no complaints– in fact pretty good. But the lady with all the tats, she is not at all friendly. I feel like she has a chip on her shoulder. I’d go more if I felt welcome. Just sayin…

If I had read the reviews earlier on, I wouldn’t have gone there today for breakfast. The omelet I ordered was horrible, the hash browns cold, the plate itself was cold, the staff extremely unwelcoming, the lady(not the one with tattoos) did not care to smile or welcome me to their establishment and seemed very brash, nobody bothered to refill my coffee. I’ll never go to this joint ever again. It seemed like I was an inconvenience to them. The cook had a dirty coat on and that says a lot about their kitchen. The breakfast was just slapped onto the plate, no love whatsoever. I ate everything on my plate because I don’t believe in wasting food!!!

Jacqueline was very helpful and well mannered to our party. She took care of us in our celebration. M-J also assisted her in taking care of us and we will be glad to visit more often! Keep up the good work.

Its such a warm and inviting atmosphere when you walk into the place! Always greeted with a friendly smile and an aroma of delicious food! Their veggie pizza is the best in town, hands down. The cooks definitely know how to make someone come back! Their bar and bartender are great. If you don’t know what to order, or want something different, the bartender knows how to whip something up! Just ask! If you want a place for your family to eat for dinner, look no further! And when a big sports event is happening, this place is great. The tv’s are great for the Super bowl and the world series games!

This will be our go-to pizza place when we’re at the hotels near Reno airport. Uncle Vinny’s is in a little shopping plaza close to McCarran Boulevard. The pizza was delicious, priced well, and ready quickly. The staff smiled easily and provided good service. One part of the inside is a more-family-styled dining area, while the other side has a bar. The parking lot is shared with other stores.

I have not been bere in awhile. Obviously there has been an ownership change. The restaurant itself was fairly clean, there was alot of food from the salad bar on the floor as well as tables that had not been bused. The cost of the lunch buffet is 10 dollars which includes salad bar and pizza and soda. The salad bar was well stocked with fresh vegs and side items like cottage cheese. The pizza is another story. If you do not get it when it comes out it is cold, old and disgusting. Even when you do get it when it was warm it was like eating mozzarella and pepperoni with mediocre pizza sauce on a high end piece of cardboard. The pizza had very little flavor. For the money i have had better pizza at dominos, and that says it all. The soda was good. Definitely will not be back

First time at Uncle Vinny’s…not impressed. You would think a bigger establishment would have better food and much better prices. There’s seriously too many pizza joints here in town to be mediocre in these 3 key areas: Food, prices, customer service and all three lacked. On top of that, the slices were as little as two fingers. C’mon, that’s not pizza and I can hardly call this a pizza place in which I would recommend to anyone.

The food was good as usual but the lady who took our order was so rude! She was so rude I truly may never return!

I was a fan of Uncle Vinny’s when it first opened many years ago, but since ownership has changed, the quality of service and food have tremendously gone downhill. When attempting to use a coupon today, which listed no expiration date on it and also stated on it «No Fine Print», the owner declined to accept it with an unprofessional and rude demeanor. There is apparently an unwritten«Fine Print» here. I will never patronize this business again. Even if the food improved, the despicable service is beyond improvement.

My favorite pizza place in Reno/Sparks. Lots of toppings come on your pizza. Tons of cheese but not tons of red sauce. Great salad bar as well. A bit expensive so try to hit them during happy hour.

We ordered pizza from there last Thursday. Jacqueline and katelynne were our servers. Both were amazing. Our pizza was ready in 20 minutes and it was perfect. We also had some of the salad bar and all of the veggies were fresh. We go often and we have never had a problem. I always love the service and I always love the food. Oh! They have really good and cheap breakfast too!

While the floor manager, and especially the delivery driver handled this transaction wrong, I have to give props to Ron, the boss who we might all call Vinnie himself :). He called me personally to follow up. It shows he cares about the business and wants customers to be treated right. Much respect Ron. I just hope your employees learn to respect you and your business to the same level you care about it.

I’m giving it four stars, but I’d like to give it three and a half. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza to go. The car ride home was excruciating — it smelled so good. The pepperoni were small, crispy and bowl shaped. Plenty of cheese, and a sweet tomato sauce. Soft, thick crust. Out the door, we paid under $ 12(with a 25% off coupon). Our short interaction with the staff wasn’t great. The guy who rang us up was friendly enough, but a woman who seemed like the owner or manager was terse — she bossed around the cashier, dropped our pizza on the counter and walked off. She was visibly friendly with the guys at the bar though… Decent pizza for a decent price. We’ll probably go back.

4 stars for value here… Breakfast is a meal that has gotten way out of hand in my opinion. I mean $ 10 for eggs and bacon… Really??? But it’s reassuring to know that value still exists in this world! When I wake up after a fun night out and just can’t muster the energy to even make a cup of coffee for myself, breakfast is exactly what I need and the $ 2.25 breakfast sandwich, as simple as it is, is what I crave! Fried egg, cheese, and a choice of ham, bacon, or sausage on a buttered bun is just oh so good! With the simple addition of a little salt and pepper, and lots of cholula hot sauce, I’ve got the perfectly filling, handheld hearty breakfast. Now a good hot cup of coffee is unfortunately not something you’ll find here. However, for us caffeine-a-holics, Starbucks is conveniently located RIGHTNEXTDOOR! And the value doesn’t stop there… Biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, $ 5 «picolo plates» or smaller versions of the meals they offer, and constantly changing breakfast specials are all great ways to start your day. And If that wasn’t enough, Uncle Vinny’s is a big place with free wi-fi making it great for meetings! So go out of your way, stop by and enjoy!

Well seems that the place has found a way to get us back in. The breakfasts here have returned to their former glory. The eggs the last few times have been cooked properly, the biscuits are my daughters favorite and the prices for good basic breakfasts are very good. I did see that they are getting a new menu, so maybe the prices will change. I also notice that they do have some really good drink specials. I didn’t try anything yet because we usually find ourselves there during the morning hours. My daughter even said… maybe we should make Vinny’s are regular Sunday morning tradition.

July 11, 2012 Tuesday — dinner 6:00PM 2 adults & a kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Went to using my living social on Sunday to find out they close at 5PM on Sunday’s, had to come back today to use it before it expires. Atmosphere — There was plenty of sports going on their TV’s. We watched part of the baseball All Star game. The volume from the TV was a little too loud, but not to the point it was annoying. Food Appetizer — Wings, classic flavor nothing to extreme, simple and good. We got medium thinking my daughter was going to have some but she ate none. Main Course — We ordered a medium Genoa. They have some many meat combo pizzas, but this one was perfect. So much meat on the pizza you good not see the cheese or sauce. Please I want some more, I can wait for those left overs now. Dessert — nope. Service — Like I said we tried to come on a Sunday and they close at 5PM. Why would a pizza place close so early? I get that you are an industrial park. But you might as well close at 3PM; I can not imagine much business in between those hours. I looked at their web site afterwards and it only indicates the times the doors open, strange. Typically when I see that they stay open as late as needed, but the door has set times. Future — The way my wife loved their dipping sauce we will be back.
