Great food, fantastic service. Now that butt lips Bob is gone it’s a perfect place for breakfast.

Been to Jenny’s several times while vising family, and will continue to go back. This is an old-school, family-owned place. While you are likely to have to wait a few on the weekend, it is worth the service and food you will get. The décor is quite eclectic and is actually entertaining to just sit and take it all in. Servers are experienced overall, quick to attend to your needs, and take care of you. Not only that, the families obviously participate, they have more than enough help to be sure your coffee cup is always warm and things get cleaned up quickly. They have a great selection of breakfast-lover food. Loved their biscuits and gravy, and even the basics of hash browns are tasty. Had their Benedict skillet, and it was good but not amazing – still ate it all. Will definitely be going back there.

Lots of food doesn’t mean good food. Portions were huge but very low quality. Pancake was tasteless and the fruit syrup tasted like sugar, not fruit. Chicken fried steak was full of gristle. I could only get half way through it when I noticed how dirty the place was. Looked like the floors had never been cleaned. Silverware was not clean. Glasses were not clean. Service was slow.

The outside of the restaurant is subtle, but the food was great. I am in the area for the week and I’ll definitely eat here again! Large breakfast menu and great burgers!

Wanted to try this place for the first time and saw the open sign was on. As we were walking up, an employee burst out the door to stop us and tell us that they’re closed. I asked why the open sign was on and she shrugged it off and went back inside. We won’t be back. Next time we’ll go to Cottage Café or Conley’s instead.

What a find! The staff is friendly, the décor is warm and inviting, and the food is great. A recommendation? Sit at the counter! I had the opportunity to sit between the owner’s husband and a Navy veteran(a regular) and enjoyed great conversation with each of them over a great meal. The place was packed, so it may not be the best option on a Saturday morning if you’re in a hurry… but this is one of those places that is about the experience. Trust me, it’s worth taking a little time out of your morning! They are passionate about their restaurant, and it shows. I would absolutely recommend Jenny’s Café!

I’ve been coming here for a few months and must say, it has become a great tradition. Jenny takes the time to get to know her customers and always feel welcome in coming back. And how can you refuse all-you-can-eat hashbrowns?

First time here, and it was crowded and filled with a lot of locals. It’s nice and comfy. Make sure to get the all you can eat hash browns. Waitresses were friendly and pretty good and getting me what I needed even though just about every table was taken. Had a few different items plus a drink for under 10 dollars, so I’ll take that anytime.

Tried them a second time to be sure they didn’t just have a bad day. The food was not good. Borderline bad. The service was indifferent. Borderline rude. Not going back.

The food was probably worth about 4 stars for what I expect from a breakfast restaurant. Major problem was the service. It’s Black Friday, empty, and two waitresses don’t seem to be enough for the 10 total customers. Constantly texting on their phones, obnoxiously yelling about a coworker who, if these waitresses are to be believed, will be fired. All the while we’re sitting here waiting for ketchup and some toast. After asking a couple times and our six year old verbalizing his need for ketchup, one of our party just decided to get up and grab it from another table. Poor.

Nice little breakfast place in the Valley. Went with my wife last week and had a good experience. Prices are pretty normal — similar to what you would pay at other sit down breakfast places. Atmosphere was charming and quaint. Staff was all friendly. It was clear that there are a lot of repeat customers. Seems like the staff knew most people’s names(and it was crowded). This came close to a 5 star rating. However the food just wasn’t amazing. Nothing wrong with it — but not all that memorable either. I had the strawberry waffles. Strawberry’s weren’t properly thawed out so they were still a little frozen in the center. Wife had no complaints with her short stack. If you want a good breakfast in the Valley Jenny’s is a great choice.

This was my second time coming here. First time was a year ago. I don’t usually complain and I’m not a picky eater, but I won’t be coming back. I ordered a Mexican skillet and the taco meat was cold. I drank most of my orange juice before I noticed the lipstick on my glass… gross! I tried to finish my meal, but I was so disgusted, I almost started heaving. There were flies buzzing around. Finally, the service was horrible. My server was apparently dating the dirtbag next to me. He was aloud to clean up after himself by going behind the counter to drop off his dirty dishes. I don’t want dirty customers in the same area that my food comes from. The icing on the cake was when my server was hanging on the dirtbag customer instead of attending her customers. Very unprofessional and dirty! It’s a shame because the owner deserves better than this!

This was the first place I had breakfast at after moving to Spokane. I was completely drawn in by the promise of AYCE hash browns. I LOVE hash browns! After taking our seats my first thought was«this place looks a little dirty». Not disgusting, but just like it hadn’t received a really thorough cleaning in a decade or 2. My meal was pretty simple. 2 eggs over easy, sausage toast and HASHBROWNS! Everything went downhill after getting the food. The food was bland a felt like there was no effort put into it. Everything was under seasoned and warm, not hot. It seemed as though it spent a good deal of time under a heat lamp. I tried some of my dad’s pancakes and they were overcooked and tasted like they were made from a store bought mix. I was disappointed enough in the food that I didn’t even bother with taking advantage of the AYCE hash browns. I still haven’t been back and don’t feel that I will be making a return trip to Jenny’s Café any time soon.

Another good, diner-style breakfast. I was a bit taken back by the old couch sitting just inside the entrance, but maybe the homey look is being taken to the extreme here. The overall restaurant could use a bit of an update and maybe a hard scrubbing, but who’s complaining? The menu is pretty large, actually a double sided affair that is likely 25X20 and crammed full of selections. I had the Dad’s Favorite omelette and it had everything you might want and was covered with gravy. One complaint, I had sausage gravy that has the chopped-up links in the gravy. I like the crumbled… this had the links. Also came paired with the«all you can eat» hash browns that were darned good. A HUGE pile of food for only $ 7.99. It was a high-value meal, that’s for sure. Not high faluting…

I come to Spokane a lot and I almost always stop here for breakfast. My son and I stumbled upon this place one morning while searching for some great morning grub. This place turned out to fit the bill perfectly. It has that down home feel and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. Plus I’ve never had to wait for more than a couple minutes to get a seat. I’ve only tried a few items on the list and so far the Country Fried Steak is my favorite so I usually just go with that. I’ve found that if you find something you love somewhere you might as well just keep ordering it so you’re sure to enjoy it! That said, the other dishes I tried were tasty and they have a wide selection so I’m sure you’ll find something you like. The portions are on the larger side and they have all-you-can-eat hashbrowns too! I’m definitely a big fan of this place and since I stared eating breakfast here I have given up my search for a great place to eat breakfast because I found it!
