The people here were reasonably friendly but the food was mediocre at best. My fiancé and I got a whole sandwich with chips and a drink and a half sandwich and soup and paid almost 25 dollars for something I definitely could have made at home! My fiancé got a steak sandwich with only two small slices of steak. That was all that was on the sandwich! We left feeling hungry and disappointed. Will definitely NOT be back

Panera is Panera across the board(and I love Panera), but this place gets 5 stars because everyone is so friendly. I have had nothing but happy, pleasant transactions with everyone, from the cashiers to the people working in the kitchen. Free wifi, healthy food choices, and plenty of bright areas to sit(and an outdoor section!). What more could you want?

Coming from Florida, there is a Panera in every corner, so seeing only ONE in Spokane was a culture shock for me. Luckily, this Panera was probably the best one that I have been to. Most Paneras that I have dined at were for studying purposes, so I spent lengthy amounts of time dining, resulting in a pungent bread smell on my clothes when I left. This was not the case for this Panera. I left without any residual scent on my clothing at all, which was amazing. The food is good and the atmosphere is like any Panera. All of the workers were very nice and there was always someone ready to take my dish to the trash when I was done, which was rare in Florida. I keep comparing this location to Florida, because I see a lot of negative reviews of this location, so I wanted to give a perspective as to what this establishment is supposed to be like. Trust me, this location is 100 times better than most of the locations in Florida based on cleanliness, friendliness, and overall experience. The food is the same as any Panera, but I like how this particular Panera is run.

Always fresh. Great choices. I like the customer appreciation percs. Wish they hadn’t phased out the Ancient Grains Salad.

In town on business. Help here is not very friendly. I wasn’t greeted or asked if I was ready to order. I finally approached the counter and the cashier said nothing. So I ordered and she simply said«Your total is $ 5.20». That’s was it. I then had to ask her if I could use my Panera card. Restaurant tables were dirty & need a cleaning. I won’t be back.

Spokane Valley, WA: First visit to this location This visit to Panera was to check off another bookmarked spot and it was conveniently located at the time. I don’t get as jazzed about chain restaurants as I did in the past. A few still generates eager anticipation. I remembered another Panera I frequented in the past hadn’t offered gluten free(gf) breads so I wasn’t holding my breath now. Turns out the only thing new with gluten free products are two palm-sized cookies, each weighing in at 320 calories. The Triple Chocolate gf cookie was rich, chewy, and a balanced sweet. My Black Bean Soup was salty, lacking depth of flavor, but became adequate in taste as I took in more spoonfuls, reminding me of a large batch precooked product. The bag of Panera potato chips was pretty crispy and delicious. With my excitement appeased, based on former bakery addictions, this bookmark is checked. The line to order never seemed to drop below five or six people deep. Cashier Paige was enthusiastic and knowledgable about the menu, graciously clarifying that although they do not offer gluten free(gf) breads, they served those two gf cookies. There was always a table open somewhere in the dining areas but I didn’t want to hog a large table so I had waited a few minutes for someone to come wipe off my two-person table. She apologized for having me wait and kindly cleaned the table and wiped crumbs off the chairs. Four dozenish parking spaces are rather limited. Could that be the reason you’re encouraged to order online to go? Fortunately, there was an adjacent lot east of the café for a dentist whose office was closed today, Saturday. It is right off the Sullivan exit 291B for I-90, on the north side.

I love this place. I drive out to the valley from downtown to have lunch. My only complaint would be that the dining room was messy. I came in after the lunch rush and it clearly had not been attended to. I’ll come back though.

How can you hate panera. They have amazing breakfast sandwiches that are WAY better than McDonald’s and pastries that are to die for. Seriously, get a bear claw and a sugar cookie. Don’t forget the rewards card.

I love Panera bread and visit one a week usually when I travel for work. This one is new and they have no clue what they are doing. In their defense you would think people had never ordered from a menu before, so having to deal with a bunch of people with ridiculous questions can’t be easy. Still, they have a pick up menu which is a huge mistake with their seating set up. The seats at the long benches are way too close together — I don’t need an old lady’s ass in my panini. Secondly it took FOREVER to get my panini and it was cold. Like they put the thing on for like 30 seconds maybe. It was lunch so I expected a wait, but it was ridiculous. They need someone from a well established store to teach them how to do things. I won’t be back to this one.

Just a simple warning. Ordered a combo special of a sandwich, bowl of mac n cheese and soda drink. $ 12.50 what! I opened the bag and found this void a void of substance. Where was my food? I found this little squashed sandwich and a bowl of macaroni and cheese that had been made a week ago. For the drink well… more ice then soda. I ask myself what the hell did I just pay for a school lunch? For $ 12.50? I’ve had better food at the Hospital? Will never go back! NEVER!

This is a great place to grab some lunch if you are driving through the Spokane Valley. Anytime I am heading out to cda, I make sure to stop here to get something. I’m slowly discovering the pastries and the muffins. Oh, make sure you join the Rewards Club, you will need to register your number but then you get freebies and points on your visits, don’t we all love free stuff?

I usually LOVE Panera! One of my favorite places to relax, eat and get some work done. Although, last time I was in at this location I had gotten dinner, then ordered a meal for my Fiancé to-go. There was still more than 30 – 40 minutes before closing time. I figured I was smart to get it in before it was too late. They were already working on closing despite people still being in the lobby. I could here the girls in the back loudly complain about having to make another meal after they just shut-off things. I don’t recommend being there too late. The setup is not what I’m used to with other locations. This is very much more self serve versus having your dinner brought to you. There is a Panera in California and my favorite feature is they give you a device that you swipe at you table and when your order is ready, they know exactly where you are.

Creamy tomato soup is the only thing giving this place two stars. The sandwiches were extremely bland. My «BLT» was nothing to write home about; soggy tomato, dry bread, weird wet turkey. However my sandwich looked better than the pathetic slabs of bread with a few pieces of meat in between the rest of my group got. It’s ok in a pinch but I’d never go back. Not to mention the price for what we got seemed rather high.

We had a variety of soups brought in for work during the outages in November. I have never had anything from here although I have heard many coworkers talk about how great the sandwiches and soups are here. I became a fan. I had about four different kinds of soups and went back for seconds, thirds, and more. I will happily gain an extra 10 or 50 pounds if it means this delicious soup is mine. A must-try!

This place is amazing! My wife and I moved here from the Seattle area and certainly missed this placed. Everything is just what I remember of it. The staff are very friendly which is also the reason why I will keep visiting! The Food: Spinach & Artichoke soufflé– it is made to perfection. The flavored are just to die for. It’s not over cooked, which is easy to do. Asiago Bacon Egg & Cheese added sausage– It’s all made to order and you can pretty much modify your menu item. In this case, I added the sausage. Great way to start the day! Enjoy fellow Unilocalers! Nothing new this time. Had the same as above. However, I will have to try the recommendation of one of the girls that took my order. According to her, the sausage egg & cheese would be great on their French toast bagel. Salivating just thinking about it… hehe!

This was my first time at any panera bread so i was excited to visit. I went through the drive through since my daughter was passed out in the back, i did not want to wake her. They have a good selection of soups, sandwiches, kids menu, desserts and salads i liked that. I didnt want to take up the line they had looking over all the items so i quickly decided on the full size ceasar chicken salad with a water. The drive thru attendant was very friendly and pleasant, as i arrived home(30 min away). I opened the back and took out my salad, side of bread, four packets of butter, and my fork/napkins. Now this may be a dumb question but does the salad not come with Ceasar dressing at panera bread? ITWASMISSING. I was so bummed, I ended up using my own dressing here at home but would of wished it came with its own to fully experience panera bread :) I did like it though.

I was kind of disappointed when I walked in and saw the cattle pen arrangement of the seating area. Panera is not your normal fast food, and other locations I have been to have a much more cozy set up in their seating area. This looks like a high school cafeteria. Also, if you are doing rapid pick up and have never been here before, the area where you grab your stuff isn’t immediately apparent. Considering they built this building from scratch you would have thought they would have designed it better. Second downfall is most employees overall lack of interest in engaging customers. I would say at least six employees made eye contact with me, but only the cashier had even a hint of a smile or any other reaction that told me they were glad I was contributing to their paycheck. I have been on the other side of the counter and always made sure to smile and acknowledge customers even if I was not directly serving them. Considering this place just opened and these people should still be fresh in their training, it shows that the management here doesn’t seem to care much about the customer experience. I love the food here, as I have at most Panera locations. And while the price might be a little higher than some as food places, it is fresher and probably has a lot less of the artificial junk your body doesn’t want anyway. I really hope management works on their service training, because sour faced employees will turn people away. I don’t want that to happen because I love the food here.

Very good food and a fast place to eat for lunch. I deducted a star because the service is still working out the kinks(confused cashiers) but that is understandable with it just opening — and the food makes up for it! I ordered the turkey blt with avacado half sandwich and paired a cup of broccoli soup with it. I also got the deal where you buy a drink and get a pastry for $ 0.99. I choose the carrot cake for this option. It is a lot of food and I was not able to finish my turkey sandwich as my soup came with a large chunk of fresh bread! I was also able to take the carrot cake as a treat for later. Also the ingredients in the sandwich were very fresh. I appreciated the real turkey versus usual processed sandwich meat(example subway) and the fresh avocado, lettuce, and tomato. Very good nutritious fresh homemade tasting stuff! Will be back.

Registered as a member through online, I got my pastry order for free. I had a chance to eat some of the pastries beforehand, they all tasted good for me – chocolate brownie and bear claw(tasted before the opening), chocolate chip cookie, and candy cookie, and iced café latte. Panera Bread is using fresh ingredients, and I think that is why it tasted so good. Go try them. They will not keep the remainings over the next day. The employees will bake or make them all new. I am definitely willing to go next time to try other menus.
