Food was quite pleasant. Enjoyed the humus very much. Drinks, as others mentioned, we’re on point and worth every dollar. Thanks for a great meal.

Such an amazing place. The menu isn’t super fancy but for Spokane it’s really not bad. More importantly the happy hour here is an incredible deal. It’s super cheap so try it out. You won’t be disappointed. Hh is from 3 to 6 and 9 to close.

We had pizza from The Max delivered to our room after reading all the positive reviews. Meh. Super doughy in the middle. The meat was good. The sauce was OK, but I swear there were tiny pieces of carrot in there… weird. Super disappointing considering the reviews.

Was here for a training seminar for 2 days. The food is wonderful! The cookies are the best ever! Kudos to the chefs!

remarkable food. Took my wife to dinner here one night for our anniversary and the steak was so tender I could cut it with a fork. Atmosphere what is dark and quiet and perfect for a nice romantic night. I highly recommend this restaurant a little on the pricey side but definitely worth it.

Once each month they have wine tasting and appetizers for a flat fee. Amaxing! Great opportunity to meet people and taste some new wines. They also have people from the winery there who teach you about the wine you are trying. As a side note, the Halloween party they throw always is amazing. People have unique and creative costumes and the service is amazing. The bartenders make a mean lemon drop!

I have never seen such poor service. We were a family of 10 that we’re excited to celebrate Mothers Day here based on the reviews. We sat down at 6:21pm and by 6:40 we had still not been acknowledged by anyone. While there was water already on the table, no one came by to take our drinks or let us know they would be right with us. After 20 minutes we decided to take our family elsewhere. As we were walking out and let the hostess know she responded with«ok thanks». Disappointed is an understatement.

There are but a few times I have had a meal so expertly crafted, especially during a «happy hour«. I began with a smoked salmon and riccata stuffed wonton, and teriyaki skewered beef, both were great and presented nicely. Children’s menu, mini cheeseburger sliders and fries. Quality beef and thinly sliced shoestring potatoes. Boys said they were awsome!

The martinis were warm. The bartenders were nice. The band was unforgivable. I am not sure have ever heard worse. A gig is not a practice session. Food pretty good.

This place has the best food in the Spokane Valley by far. Amazing entrees that offer an array of diverse and delicious flavors. The high prices are justified when you taste their steaks! I love this place! I recommend the Sea Bass!

I’m giving this place a 5 star, because the drinks were strong, the staff are great, and the food was delicious. You definitely get what you pay for. I got a Bahama mama, and it was so yummy! It was made perfectly strong, strong yet still kept a good flavor. The wait staff was great. We had to wait a few minutes to be noticed and seated by the manager. But he was working his butt off, so we did not mind the wait. Our waitress was kind and friendly. The whole staff looked as though they always had things to do. Which is great to see, because it’s never any fun if you have workers goofing off when there’s customers or tables to be tended to. I had the 14oz prime ribeye steak. It was cooked perfect to my liking, which is medium rare. The Yukon mashed potatoes were so yummy with it. The steak was juicy and tender. Probably the best steak I’ve had yet here in spokane. Everything down to the bread they served was absolutely delicious. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I had so much leftovers, and was plenty full when I left. Huge portions. It’s an elegant restaurant, large enough to not hear other customers conversations. The wrap around bar was filled with people, and the restaurant area was a little bit slower, but still had plenty of people all through out. It was clean and organized. Perfect for date night. It is pricy, and for 2 people we spent over a $ 100, but it was well worth it. You honestly wouldn’t regret coming here and spending that much.

We’ve been regular patrons for years and have enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food. Last week was much different. We got there during happy hour and ordered the hummus(a must) and tried the cheese fries(a new favorite for us). The burgers on the other hand were down right terrible along with my sweet potato fries. The burgers were gray and clearly pre-formed, and left un-seasoned. Blech. If there’s a next time, we’ll just come for happy hour and order the delicious appetizers.

Love their sliders & max cheese fries! Service was great. They were always ready to assist my group in anyway.

Went to dinner here tonight after reading great reviews. We were excited to give it a try. The atmosphere was great, wish I could say the same about the food. My wife ordered the Alaskan Cod sandwich and I got the Gorgonzola Blue burger. We split it so each of them and shared 50⁄50. I tried the cod sandwich first and initially thought it was still cold. The fish was very tough and hard to bite through. It was not cooked well at all. The hamburger was better but bland. We got a starter of crab and artichoke dip which was really good. After the starter came it took forever for the meal to come out. The restaurant wasn’t full, so I’m not sure why it took as long as it did. After dinner we decided to try a dessert so we ordered crème Brulé which started out good but half was burnt on top. They put a strawberry over the burnt portion to cover it up. The service was«meh» at best. We don’t drink so we assumed service was going to be less than stellar(we moved here from Vegas so we’re used to that) but tonight our server was just plain slow. He was nice enough, but after taking our dessert plate it took 10 minutes at the least to come back with our bill. The guy serving water asked how our meal was more than our actual waiter. As I said at first, we had heard good things about this restaurant and had high hopes, but most likely won’t be going back.

I came here for brunch, which is served til 2 pm, and the food was great but what I loved even more was the impeccable service. Jeremy was our waiter and was so attentive and was always there to refill our waters and ask how we were doing. The crab omelette had big chunks of crab meat. I definitely enjoyed this. My mom ordered the huckleberry waffles and I started stealing more bites from her plate than she would have liked. It was too good to not steal some! Both of these options were selected per our server’s suggestion and we are glad we listened to him. They were so accommodating in making our hashbrowns extra crispy like we asked. We are very picky with our hashbrowns and they sure delivered. We also ordered mimosas and decided to upgrade to their MAX mimosas which comes in a bigger wine glass with gran marnier added. Worth the upgrade! We can’t wait to come back here for breakfast and try new breakfast options because there were multiple meals we wanted to order. The waiter also mentioned that they have live music playing Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9 pm, so I plan on coming for a weekend dinner too!

It’s a very nice establishment but it doesn’t seem to fit the location. The hotel is not up to par with the restaurant. There is a nice outdoor patio where our group seating. The food: Hummus, sliders, Manila clams, Shredded Chicken Quesadilla, Max Cheese Fries. All the plates were appetizers. Although first impressions were not great, I believe in second chances and may some day try an entrée… if they were to comp the meal. Nothing really stood out except the fries. Hummus plate: The fire toasted pitas served with the hummus was really not edible because it got hard and the hummus itself tasted really burnt. I prefer a light toast. Sliders: these were the most plain sliders they could have made. It literally was bun, burger and a dab of whatever sauce they dressed it with that barely covered the corners of all 4 sliders. The Manila Clams: I generally like Manila clams but these tasted briney and a couple of them were not cleaned thoroughly… still had some sand in them. They could have done without the onions and the other vegetable item that garnished clams. This is where«less is more» goes a long way. Shredded Chicken Quesadilla: these were mushy and there was so much great that it dripped down to the other pieces and it did not look appetizing. Max Cheese Fries: The fries were the best part and something I would order… if I went back. The drink: Happy Hour scotch on the rocks. I definitely did not like this. It’s as if on top of the ice the added some water which really diluted it. This really makes me wonder how they make their other drinks.

Very good restaurant, great food and nice atmosphere. Great breakfast menu, great service. Very professional, quick and friendly staff. I noticed they have unique cocktails as well, like«Grapefruit & Basil» martini. They do a lot of smoking and roasting in house. I ordered the caprese frittata and my husband ordered Dungeoness crab omelette. Others at our table ordered strawberry Belgian waffle and 2 egg breakfast. Everything was very good. The restaurant is much more modern than their hotel which is a little outdated in décor but very cozy and has great prices.

For the last handful of years my wife and I have attended the Spokane Indians Baseball kickoff party at the Max. With every visit the level of service has been outstanding and the food excellent. Today my wife and I split a sandwich and the halves were put on separate plates. Each plate had a large amount of fries and each came with a pickle. Pretty generous amounts I thought for a split. My daughter ordered a chicken quisadilla off the appetizer list and it was more than a meal for her. She also said it was very good and would order it again. If I lived in the valley instead of the north side of town we would probably make this more of a regular stop.

Had breakfast here while staying at the hotel. Good, strong coffee. Hash browns are somewhat dry and lacking flavor. Bacon was ok quality, nice and crispy. Sausage and eggs were oily. Too bad, because the eggs were cooked just right, but all that oil was off-putting. Service was pleasant and attentive. I’ve had better. I’ve had worse. Bathrooms were clean and uniquely decorated.
