I have been going here for about 2 years, after I followed my favorite nail tech, Vincent from another salon. Vincent is very meticulous and always does an amazing job, sometimes creating very complex designs for me when I am in the mood for that. Other times, just plain old white tips — whatever I want. There have been occasions when Vincent was on vacation and I have gone to other techs in the shop. They are always very nice and have always done a good job for me. They are all very friendly and nice. I have been to many nail salons in the valley and Q nails is definitely my favorite so far!

My mom and I have been going here for years we are very familiar with the shop and everyone who works there. I recently went in to get a full set, I had shown them what I wanted; a nude flat with a gold accent. The end result wasn’t what I had wanted like many of my other visits but it was something I could live with. Because they didn’t have a nude acrylic powder they ended up using their clear acrylic for a base and then just painting it with normal polish. About an hour after I had left the shop I dug in my purse for my keys(like most women do) but when I pulled my hand out much to my surprise the nail polish was still wet and completely ruined. Needless to say I will be finding a different shop from now on.

This place does not know how to do gel manicures. I left with my nail polish not dry all the way and when I asked them to fix things, they kept saying«Oh it’s just the gel, it’ll be fine». I went back 10 minutes after they were finished when I realized my nails were jagged and not filed smoothly, they fixed that, but 6 hours later half of the nail polish on my thumb peeled off. Ridiculous. My mom and I also went in together and requested to sit by each other(most of the spaces were empty) and they didn’t react that well to our request. Needless to say, I will not be going back and do not recommend.

After trying three upscale places in Spokane like $ 52 for a pedi only, screw that!, I gave up and took a chance on this little shop in the mall. $ 30 for a mani & pedi, friendly staff, no strong chemical smell. Maybe not the newest chairs and stuff, but I assume that helps to keep the prices down, everything looked pretty tidy. Super fast, I was in and out within 45 minutes. They didn’t massauge very hard, and it wasn’t a long massauge, but spokane doesnt seem to have pedicures like my regular salon in seattle. But atleast this place was priced right.
