Best pizza I have eaten all year! Great set up for watching baseballs games there as well!

Adelo’s would be a great place were it not for the horrendous service. My wife and I stopped by for lunch on Sunday afternoon. There was one other party in the restaurant. We sat down, ordered our drinks(iced tea and water) and then were ignored for the next 40 minutes. At one point the waitress did bring our drinks, Took our food order, and then was never heard from again. At one point we accidentally spilled one of the glasses of iced tea so I got up went to the bar and asked for a towel to clean it up. I was handed exactly that, a towel. The waitress never came by to check if we needed more drinks or or to even see how we were doing. After the 40 minute wait we finally decided to get our food to go rather than sit around the place anymore. The Pizza has always been very good. My wife ordered a Caesar salad which she described as «the dressing was very watery and the chicken tasted iffy». The service was just unforgivable. And just to be thorough the other party was a party of about seven including four children. They ordered french fries and soft drinks. They were watching the football game. This waitress was not taxed in anyway. It was just poor poor service. The only thing preventing this restaurant from getting a single star is the fact that the pizza is so good.

The holidays are suppose to be a fun time with friends, family and good food. Knowing that we were coming in to visit last minute and late, I didn’t want to burden my poor Mom with the rigors of another holiday meal. I took recommendations on local takeout/delivery and wasn’t worried about price. After all, this was a late family holiday gathering and we just wanted the ease of someone else cooking, but still have a bunch of tasty food to dive into. At first glance, Adelo’s artisan pizza menu looks impressive. Lots of cool options and combinations. I eyed the Thai pizza immediately, as I had just tried an impressive one weeks before in Seattle. Prices seemed steep for Spokane, but it was the holiday season and I didn’t mind the splurge. They were prices I am more accustomed to anyway. I figured if they were this high in Spokane, the product has to be exceptional. We ordered 2XL artisan pies and a medium-sized, GF(yes, they DO have gluten-free crusts) cheese pizza(for the kids and gluten-challenged). $ 60 later(yes, that’s SIXTY dollars) the pizza was delivered promptly and the driver was friendly and courteous(which I considered bumping stars up for.) I then started sinking my teeth into what I can only describe as garlic-y, chewy cardboard, with hints of ‘pizza flavor’ and an occasional morsel of chicken or pepperoni. I’ve never experienced such a dry, lackluster pizza, maybe in my entire life. The entire family was puzzled and disappointed. My brothers were cracking jokes on my expense: «…you spent HOWMUCH on this?» «…why didn’t you just grab some Pizza Pipeline or Dominoes??» «wow…this sure is some ‘designer cardboard’» It was brutal. In fairness, Adelo’s has a nice seasoned-garlic-y crust, but is only a nice highlight if you like chewy-style crusts. As far as cheese, sauce and toppings go, it was an absolute joke. Pizzas were so dry that EVERYONE in the room was complaining. Cheese was sparse, and only covered half the diameter in the middle of the pies. And lightly at best. Pepperoni was SUPER spicy(which I love, but others were thrown off by). Gluten-free pizza had burnt edges(generally indicating they were in hurry and cooked it at same temp as regular crusts) Overall, these pizzas were dry, dry, dry and simply BLEAH. More crust than anything. My Mom felt awful. She insists that she has had decent pizza eating in at Adelo’s, but can’t remember when that was ;) She wanted to call. I tried to explain that usually that doesn’t help things. Transparency and honest reviews can make more of an impact. It was disappointing, because she felt bad that we had spent that kind of money on awful food and it was her recommendation. It just made the dinner somewhat uncomfortable as she continued to press the issue of calling Adelo’s to complain. I wasn’t going to let this ruin our holiday. I put it behind me, but knew I had to report it on Unilocal.Truly, truly some of the worst pizza I have ever had. I am sure the owners of Adelo’s are nice people, the place looks great and I certainly want to support small business in Indian Trail, but for $ 60+ 15% driver tip, this was one of the most disappointing take-out dinners we’ve ever had. Sorry to report.

Ok so a ℅ worker of mine recommended this place and at first it was really good. They put olive oil on the crust which enhanced the the flavor or the pizza. The Greek and plain cheese were what my family liked. Over time they stopped putting the olive oil on the pizza and the crust started to get burned. I can handle this part but one thing which is a huge No No in my book are people who are entitled to a tip. A short man wearing a tight shirt with his hair slicked back seemed entitled to my change(waiter)while I was getting carry out and snarled at me when I asked for it back. From that point on the arrive has been questionable and I have taken my $ 40 for two pizza to anther place in town. Beware!!! I also saw the cook(while I was waiting for my carry out) taste the tomato sauce for the pasta and use the same spoon to stir it!!!

Really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza we got tonight. Called in the order and it was ready in 15 minutes. Looking forward to trying their pasta dishes.

Adelos has become our«go to» place. We have tried pretty much every pizza on their menu and have never been disappointed. The beer bites(deep fried dough served with a coating of garlic and herb butter or rolled in cinnamon and sugar with a side of warm cream cheeses frosting) are addictive! Don’t even get me started on their salads! I haven’t tried their pastas or wraps yet simply because I can’t get enough of their pizza. The beer selection is on par with most of your better brew pubs and they feature many local brews. if beer is not your thing, they also have a great selection of wines and even feature wine tastings once a month or so. the only thing better than the fare is the staff. Matt, Jared, and Andrew go above and beyond to make sure you have the best dining experience. iIf you haven’t tried them yet, you are missing a really good thing!

Came in and tried the pepperoni pizza and craft root beer they have on tap. The pizza sauce and crust were soooo tasty! They make it on site. I was impressed with the service that Jared provided to my party. I will definitely be back!

NIce bar room feel to this place with tv’s surrounding the walls. We’d been to the take and bake years ago and the pizza was ok. Now that they’ve moved into this newer location the pizza has improved with it. We went with our servers recommendation of the Pepperoni Extravaganza. We weren’t disappointed. The pizza is New York Style thin crust but with a bit thicker edge crust than what you would find on the east coast. It was still very good and foldable. The peperoni was a great choice but was a little on the oily side. To be expected with a pizza loaded up with pepperoni though. Our server was friendly and was very good about keeping the drink glasses full. Looking forward to making another trip to Adelos to try a differnt kind of pizza.

I recently moved to Spokane and this is right next door to my home. I didn’t end up trying it til about a month ago. My bf brought home the chicken Alfredo. Was I in for a treat!!! The huckleberry balsamic dressing is to die for on the side salad. Then the pasta in itself was so rich and delicious. We finished the whole thing and said to each other, we will be going back!!! Next time we tried the garlic dough balls. To die for. I could eat a whole serving myself, so addicting and delicious. We also have tried the ravioli. Just as good as the Alfredo. Tonight we had the fire pasta. Oh my! Such a great kick to the Alfredo. Tonight was also my first night going in and not getting take out. Our server was so friendly and sweet. Both my bf and I were super impressed. All in all, I am so happy that the best pasta I have ever had is a short walk away :)

So pizza is good but the wait is horrible. 20mins for a take and bake. Prices are ok. Salads way too high for what you get but the pizza taste makes up for most. I suggest papa Murphy’s half the price and a fraction of the wait

This has quickly become our new favorite pizza place. We love the new location and the ability to dine in or order it to be delivered. We had the bacon asparagus pizza(twice now) it is amazing! My children enjoyed noodles with butter and Parmesan. There are a good amount of beers on tap. The service was wonderful. I think it’s a little overpriced, 15 – 22 $ per pizza(hence 4 stars).

Great pizzas! Not sure if they’re putting some secret addictive yeast or something in crust… but we can’t get enough. And you can order thin crust(our favorite) as Taylor does a great job(you’ll become a Taylor fan aka Taylord). And if you want something lighter… the huckleberry salad is fantastic… not too sweet or overpowering. We sub the blue cheese for feta and if we aren’t getting anything else, we add chicken. Nice beer rotation… if you aren’t sure which kind to try, Matt is very knowledgable and always willing to assist. They also have cider on tap. And before I forget… the meatballs… OMG! They aren’t huge or overly heavy. They just have a very nice texture and spice combination. Mac & cheese: I’m not a Mac & cheese fan. they taste the same and I consider a cheap dish. On a suggestion I tried their Mac & Cheese… WOW! I’m now a fan… well of this Mac & cheese. Flavorful, thick, just a very nice change. Wings are awesome too. Our family loves the place. A very nice addition to our community.

I had originally given Adelo’s a bad review back in 2012 at their old location. At that time they only had take and bake and the pizza wasn’t that great. On par with American(not even trying to be Italian) pizza like Papa Murphy’s or Dominos. Things have changed. Along with the new location are hot made to order pizzas that are in the Italian Neapolitan style(otherwise known as New York Style). Thin crust, foldable, huge pieces. And the pizza has flavor without overpowering saltiness so common with places that hide their cheap pizza under tons of salt. And if you order extra cheese that’s what you get. Not like Dominoes where you can’t tell an extra cheese pie from a regular one. The new store has a good vibe and would be a great place to watch a game or go out with a group of friends for a beer and a pie. I liked how when my pie was brought to me for takeout, the gentleman at the register opened the box for me to approve. As you can see from the pictures I posted, I was not disappointed.

Great pizza and salads, nice beer selection too. service is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable with ample outdoor seating. We had our sons baseball championship party here and they were very gracious with us. My husband ordered spaghetti and he is picky about sauces and such and he enjoyed that also. Overall great experience.

Their pasta is meh, but the pizza is delicious! I usually eat the pizza at the restaurant, but one night I decided to take it to go. The«to-go» version was pretty good except that mine was very greasy. Other than that, I LOVE the restaurant!

I love Adelos! Huge on tap beer selection! The food: the pizza is amazing! I recommend the roman pesto. The crust on their pizza is really good. They also have great salads. They use quality lettuce, not crappy iceberg lettuce. I love their beer bites also. All three kinds are good. Atmosphere: it has a cool bar area, but it is also family friendly. Lots of TVs for sports and a really cool patio. Service: it has always been good.
