Food is grubbin. Got the brisket. Hickory + Traeger= Glorious, the Mac and Cheese is also on point. This would be a 4⁄5 star affair but seems a bit pricey for a sports bar. $ 20 plus for a single dinner at a «bar» is kinda a stretch. Had the food not been awesome this could have gone to a 2 or a 1 stars at that price point… Had the price been a little friendlier easily a 4 possibly a 5 stars. BBQ can be really hit or miss, friend went there a couple days after me and said their meat was cold/​dry. Seems hard to be consistent in BBQ. I will be back, hope it’s as good. It’s one of the best mediocre experiences I’ve ever had.

BBQ chicken was overdone, sauce slapped on at the last minute, despite waiting 45 minutes for our order. One star for friendly (if overworked) service, good tap menu. This was our second time — the first time we had ribs and — meh, I’ve experienced better. Not worth the drive for me.

Been to JJs a few times and the food is great. They have a good brew selection. Although I think television placements are a little too high, making it a little uncomfortable to watch. The place is great but not excellent.

Had to. try the new menu! dropped in for a.few.pints and an appetizer. Tried the House Chili Cheese fries. AMAZING! we’ve never had ones like these-​house made chili with chunks of smoked meat, beans, smoked cheddar, smoked onion sauce and chipotle sour cream. only BUMMER is the size. Tad larger to. share would be AMAZING. But we’ll be nack. for more and some smoked.brisket.

This is one of our favorite neighborhood joints. Stellar food in a casual environment. Easy to bring the whole family or meet friends for drinks after work. Love their breakfast on the weekends too!

Not going back. Been going there for a long time and loved the place, recommended it to every one until lately. Took an out of town friend last week and was embarised. SLOW, SLOW service and sub par food. We figured it was a bad nighr so went back tonight and it was just as bad if not worse. Sat for 10 minutes before waited on. 3 tables that came in after we did received food first and ours was colw when we got it. I dont have a problem with kids unless they are screaming and thats what we got tonight. I counted 13 children that almost had my ears bleeding (not their fault, it was the parrents).
Too bad because it was our favorite place, we went weekly but it’s been getting worse by the week. No More… Too Bad

I’ve been here 4 times now usually with friends for trivia during the work week. The staff has always been friendly and quick with orders. The menu has a nice variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. The burgers are huge at ½ pound patties! Last thursday for bingo night I ordered the club, a BLT was brought out instead… I didn’t say anything to the server but a couple minutes later he came by and said a club was coming out. that’s great service! Prices are great here also. its a nice little spot for the Indian trail area since there isn’t much around here.

Myself and my wife were new to Spokane. We tried JJ’s once and won’t be back. We walked in and the place was packed for trivia. We had never been there before, when we walked in the «host» said there is a table in the back. He took us there. Then we sat and sat and sat. We finally order our steaks which we always order a little under what we want. Asking for medium. The steaks came out burnt. The sever never came back to check on us. We put enough money for our drinks and food. Hopefully it covered everything. I guess we will never know.

I love this place. The bartenders are very friendly and their drinks are amazing. I also go there for lunch regularly with my family, they have fantastic food. A family environment during the day.

Okay let me just say I have been following JJ’s grill since it was Shans and it has improved in leaps and bounds! They have one of the best burgers bar none in town. My wife and I are foodies! And these guys have elevated themselves so much that I’m going to be contacting diners and drive-​ins to see if we can get Spokane on the show again. Their meat for their burgers are the best tasting I’ve had and they slow smoke the brisket, ham, prime rib, corned beef, and pork on Traeger style pellet grills… awesome.

This place is what it is… a sports bar. Have only had one appetizer from my few visits so far. So, I can’t really say much about the food. I just moved up here and found this place to be walking distance from where I live. This is a Cheers type place, in a residential area, where there are lots of regulars. The wait staff is «ok.» Have a feeling I need to show my face a few more times to be a part of the Cheers family. It’s all good! Nothing really horrible you can say about the place.

Our first time here we had decent experience. It’s mainly a sports bar, but the sandwich are really good! My wife had the French Dip and I tried the Pastrami. Both were off of their smokehouse offerings. The meat was really tender and infused with smokey goodness. The reason for the 3-​star rating… the place is really dirty (splattered food on the wall, high chair was really gross, dust caked on the wall décor). Time to give it a good cleaning and encase the jerseys in closed frames?

My darling current wife and I took a beautiful drive around Long Lake with the top down, and ended up at JJ’s for a late dinner. I had the Pastrami sandwich and Camille wolfed down a GIANT pulled pork sandwich. They both were supper good, especially with a nice IPA. The fries were excellent. The whole place was quite dirty, especially the bathrooms. The «5 seconds on the floor…» rule does not apply here! But the food was very good.

I love the UBER friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone that comes in is a friend for life. A huge drink selection to choose from and the food choices-​a great menu to chose from and try the Mac and Cheese bites because they are AMAZING!

Great atmosphere for all drinking ages. Food specials daily are outstanding not only the price but taste great too. Staff is super friendly, service is sometimes really slow but that’s because it’s always busy. Beer selection is perfect for all connoisseurs.

I was a little skeptical of this place when I first went. I thought it was going to be a bit of a too divey bar that would have gone out of business shortly after like a few of it’s predecessors. Well, I’ve been back several times and it’s really grown on me.
They seem to be a great addition to the neighborhood and provide a great community. It’s a welcoming atmosphere and it’s also solid and friendly service. It appears they have pretty good food, though I’ve always stuck with ordering fries here and they are very good! I always get really excited to come here to play pull tabs though. No other place, that I go to at least, offers this and it’s always fun, no matter how many times I lose!
