I loved this place and we frequented it often until tonight. WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER by Emily. I ordered cheese enchiladas, but received bean. When I requested it be corrected, I ended up with chicken. I could careless about the enchilada but her customer service was over the top rude!!! She needs a serious lesson in customer service.

After living in San Diego, I can assure you that this place isn’t San Diego’s best. The burritos are good though. I get the chili verde. The only thing stopping the burritos from being great is that the tortillas are not homemade. I’m a sucker for a good homemade tortilla, and these store bought ones just don’t do it for me.

We have not been fans of any of the«multiple» locations around Spokane, however, today I was really hungry for a breakfast burrito so we stopped by the location on NORTH Division to have a try. Our sausage breakfast burrito was really good! They are $ 4+ so they are really big. We should have split one. The service is pretty slow for«fast food»…but it was really good!

for the price, this is so much better than commercial taco bell taco time consistently.

Good Tacos, but these are not the type you can eat while driving. This is not a bad thing, but it can be if you are. I figured this was another fast food Taco place I wasn’t sure about the location, it is right next to a Taco time. Even though they have a drive up window like TB they are not the same thing.

I wish I could post a pic of what was on the bottom of my taco salad… it was a watery mess and very bland, I won’t recommend to any one…

My husband loves it here! I think it’s alright, but I won’t ever get a quesadilla again. Chicken was thrown on there with barely any cheese.

I like this place. The service is a little impersonal but the food is great. Don’t expect five star meals here, this is more like street food with climate control. You get your stuff on a Styrofoam plate, warm and tasty. If you don’t know what to order do the daily special. You won’t be disappointed and you expand your horizons by trying some no frills simple Mexican food. So what the guy behind the counter is a dullard, you’re not here for him! Yes you want to smack his surly mug into reality but you want good, cheap, So-Cal Mexican fast food. You’re here for the cheap but good grub. Eat it already! BTW try the Idaho fries, cheap, generous and good! Sometimes they have this but not that. Who cares. Order and eat.

This place used to be great, used to be a 4 star or for a fast food Mexican joint 5 stars!!! But the last 4 times has been barely palatable!!! I think the main ingredient in most items is now salt!!! The owners(who are basically absent from the whole operation) used to have a guy in there that ran the show and did a great job… He is no longer working there… Now service is barely friendly and the food SUCKS!!! So much salt you can not even eat it, literally!!! So do your self a favor and stay clear… Hopefully the owners will someday take an interest and some pride in what they serve and also try to retain the employees that make the place work, cause it is broken now!!!

Customer service is terrible. The girl at the counter was very hard to understand because she spoke with a soft voice and her accent didn’t help. When I asked about menu items she was very vague. I asked for a burrito and before I could ask to make it a wet burrito for 1.50 mode she said here’s your total and your drink. I figured if she wasn’t wanting to hear me then I should up sell my order. When she gave me the check she muttered under here breath and walked away. I assumed she said sign the receipt. I had to reach across the counter behind the register to grab it. The food wasn’t great. Maybe I am not use to authentic Mexican food but the burrito was soaked in grease and 50 percent of it was onions… Would not recommend spending money here.

Having lived in California for several years one of the key things I missed was the small mom and pop restaurants… this one clearly reminds me of those that I left behind.

I really really want this place to step it up cause they have awesome fast food but I am really disappointed with the quality of food and customer service every time I try it. The last time I went with my daughter,!both of our cheese enchiladas were cold. The cheese was not even melted ! And the cashier/host needs to let their customers know that they are happy to serve. I get the feeling that they see customers coming and grumble !!! When the food is fresh and hot it is AWESOME !!!

Finding authentic Jalicso/Sinaloa/Michoacan food is tough and even more so in Spokane but this place, for the price, is a good value for your dollar. The carnitas are better than most other places in Spokane and the carne asada is great. And for the price of less than $ 5 for a burrito, you can’t go wrong.

After reading some of the reviews about how great the«salsa bar» & the food is so great, well, I can only say, someone’s expectations were surely low. The salsa bar consists of a pot of sauce and some sorta peppers. The salsa & chips we ordered had tomatoes, a lotta onions & cilantro. The burrito had a lotta beef & very dry. The chicken enchiladas were edible. Beef tostadas were very bad. We won’t return to this place even tho it isn’t very expensive…

The thing about this place is you get what you pay for. You want an 8 dollar plate of fajitas? Then they probably won’t taste like Gordon Ramsey made them. That being said we had the the fajitas, lengua tacos and kids tacos, the food was decent but a little dry. The salsa bar is a nice addition. My only real complaint is that the tables were a little dirty. Overall 3 stars because for the price the food was just fine and it was prepared quickly.

Good food at a cheap price. Love how people want to tell you it’s not authentic. It taste pretty close to the fast Mexican food they have in CA. They claim the best in San Diego and it’s pretty close. Sure it’s not authentic sit down upscale mexican, but its authentic fast food Mexican. Taco Bell is not. You want a cheap HUGE burrito? Come here and get the carne asada.

This is a review for the North Spokane location(SE corner Division at Hastings). Food generous portions but so-so averaged out in taste amongst 3 items ordered. Man at counter patiently answered menu questions. I gave my huge Machaca Breakfast Burrito 4 stars-eggs, beef, potatoes, and cheese tastefully served($ 4.19) inside a soft, fresh flour tortilla. However, my family member thought she ordered a Chicken Taco & Burrito combination($ 6.95) but instead got ‘à la carte mini chicken asado taco($ 2.65) and a chicken asado burrito($ 4.55). Both came with dry chicken meat. We missed the clarification of yay or nay on the sides of rice and beans. Our third order was a Beef Chorizo Plate. Chorizo is a fav of another family member but this version was disappointingly bland! One star each for taste quality on these. Service was gracious and appreciated that the salsa was bagged separately for our take out orders.
