I had heard through word of mouth that Burger Express(formerly known as Stop N Go and before that it was originally a Zip’s) was as good, if not better, than it’s predecessors. I was in the mood for a quick, cheap burger so I decided to give it a try one day. I opted for dine in as opposed to the drive thru as I feel you will usually get food that is generally of a higher quality instead of drive thru«leftovers» that they want to get rid of. I pulled in around 2 pm on a weekday. Restaurant was dead. Only one other person inside. The older gentleman behind the counter was pleasant and helpful enough, despite having to endure the attitude of the teenage cook behind him who I could hear mumbling in apparent dissatisfaction. My food was up in about 5 minutes or so. Not bad. About what I’d expect from a place like this. Appearence wise the food looked identical to Zip’s. I tried the burger first. It tasted somewhat like Zip’s… But something was just off. It was incredibly bland and just an overall let down in flavor. It was not a very satisfying burger at all. The fries, to me, were identical to Zip’s in appearance and flavor which was good. But the fries I received were slightly warm which I do not understand considering I ordered them directly. It’s not exactly a deal breaker but damn when you order fast food fries they should be HOT, not lukewarm. Nothing worse than cold/warm fries! And now, the biggest miss: the tartar sauce. It was not very good! It had a funny after taste. I don’t know where they buy their tartar sauce but its not the same as Zip’s. If you’re going to imitate or rip off a local burger chain you might want to copy one of their most important and successful qualities which is their tartar sauce! It’s one of the things that the local populous loves about Zip’s! I’m sorry Burger Express, but you are NOT Zip’s. This place was definitely better when it was Stop N Go. The new owners are driving this place into the ground. Mark my words that within 6 months to a year this place will be out of business. Sad. I give this place 2 out of 5 stars. If you happen by this place, keep driving. A REAL Zip’s is right over on Broadway. You’d be better off going there and getting the real thing! Next time, I’ll keep driving.

Let’s be honest, you can get a better burger and fries for a cheaper price at a fast food restaurant. Went through drive through and my order took around 10 minutes, to top it off the fries were cold, and bland. Basically they’re just store bought crinkle cut fries that you can bake at home. Burger was nothing special either. Not coming back.

Got food poisoning from here 05÷31÷15. The food quality took a dive from when it was Stop & Go. Fries were overcooked and you could snap them in half like a twig. Only part of the burger that seemed somewhat fresh was the lettuce. The iced tea from the fountain does not taste like tea. More like some dirty water.

Pretty good burger place, definitely better and cheaper than Zips! The food is always hot and fresh, and the service is great. A lot of other reviews on here seem to be complaining about prices, you pay for quality! If you want a burger for 1 $ that’ll make you sick, go to McDonald’s. If you want a great burger than this is the place to go. The prices are still lower than any of the local Zips that I have been to, and the service here has always been better!

Not as good as the place it replaced. Close to town. On the cheap side, but not a good Burger.

We used to go here a lot when it was Stop & Go Burger. They had good food for cheap prices. Now that it was bought out & is run as one of the 3 Burger Express stores the prices have gone up a LOT!!! This was the first time we stopped in & I’m really glad we had a 2 for 1 coupon or it would have cost almost $ 20. The food was still good & our fries were hot(part of the reason we always ask for no salt) but I don’t feel that the product justifies the cost. There are a lot of other places I’d rather eat in the Spo Valley if I’m going to spend $ 20. I don’t see us going back anymore.

Burgers are fine, but there’s nothing express about it. It took almost 10 minutes to get my burger at the drive through. I ordered the Tillamook burger meal — which was fine. I ordered onion rings instead of fries. Onion rings were good, but the upgrade was a bit pricey. The specials are at a reasonable price, but the regular meals are a bit spendy. Overall, this is a good local burger place… just don’t stop by if you are in a hurry! Update: I had to drop my review as it took 22 minutes today to get a cheeseburger(no it was was not busy — one car in front of me) Yikes! Perhaps a name change to «burger eventually» might be in order?

We figured we’d give them a try after getting coupons in the mail and I am glad we did! We both tried the pepper jack burgers and they were piping hot, fresh and juicy. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were crisp and fresh as well. The fries were large crinkle cut and fried to perfection. Their prices were very good and they had a large selection of burgers, fish and sides. Both of ate for right about $ 10.00. We will most definitely be back.
