Interesting take on chicken cheesesteak… by no means what you think you of when you’re thinking of a classic cheesesteak. That’s not to say that the sub wasn’t good it just wasn’t what I expected. Overly seasoned and just not that great.

Wow. Talk about a turn around. They have reworked the system of ordering and it shows in their quality. They are kind and really have matured! Great job Bruchi’s South hill!

My favorite place to easy but i won’t be back to this location, you’re employees are incompetent. The cashier couldn’t adjust my change when i added a penny to my $.51 change due & followed up with letting my sandwich suit for 8 min while she tried to figure out another mindless problem. Your other experienced employees should have helped but did nothing even though they obviously saw the problem. The could also not refund my money when asked… Grrr, sorry i loved you guys.

The food is always decent and what you’d expect from a chain/​franchise. However we came in an hour before closing and among other things, ordered a French dip. After ordering the kid behind the counter told me they dumped the au jus… and this was an HOUR before they close, not 5 minutes. Hopefully someone will use this as a learning experience and not do this again. Very frustrating.
After writing the above comments while we were waiting, the young woman making the sandwiches whipped up a little au jus for us — thanks very much!

I think the previous owner or franchisee was better, since the new ownership the size of sandwich shrunk and the sandwich is literally soaked in juices and grease once packed. A foot long looks like a 6″ sub, they mix everything on the grill and can’t keep the items separate mixing and cooking everything so close that it gets mixed and you can taste the stuff from other people sandwiches, not going at this location again. Big disappointment.

My boyfriend and i chose to go in to this location for some sandwiches to go. He ordered the steak supreme which was amazing. I ordered the French Dip. When we got home, i opened up the container of au jus to find there was maybe enough in there to dip in one bite of my sandwich. I was also shocked when i opened my sandwich and it was made with these weird large chunks of meat and was cold. I was furious. We had to drive all the way back up there and the first thing the girl says is, «oh, i think we are out of au jus.» Well no kidding! I let her know that i work in the service industry, as well, and honesty is the best and only policy! She should have told me they were out of au jus and given me the option to get something else. Instead, she sent me home with a soup cup containing one tiny drip of au jus. I was very unimpressed and disappointed with these young girls.

We need one of these in LA!
So far I’ve tried the classic and the Meat lovers. Both were excellent. I’ve never really been a cheesesteak fan but I am now, after visiting this spot a few times.
The next time I’m in Spokane, I’ll definitely be back. It’s usually the first place we go!

This may seem like a chain but make no mistake, this local spot has great cheesesteaks and the customer service you’d expect from a family biz. Try the Malibu with Chipotle sauce. Yum.

This is a great little sandwich shop. Bruchi’s has made a name for itself in Spokane for it’s cheesesteak sandwiches, and it is well deserved. For some reason (maybe it’s location) I never get there as often as I like. There is nothing bad about where it is located, it is just on the wrong side of the street from the direction I am usually going.
That said, I have tried all of their sandwiches, and they are great. The people that work there are wonderful, and very accommodating. When my children come to town, it is the first place they go. My only complaint is that I tell them to bring me a chicken cheesesteak, and by the time I get home, it is gone.
I just wish this one was closer to where I work. I like it much better than the other locations, and I would be there constantly for lunch.

This place is bomb!
Probably not as good as any east coast city cheesesteaks, but
there is no better cheesesteak in Spokane.
Go with the malibu chicken, you won’t be dissapointed.
One of the places I try and go to everytime I’m back for the holidays.
