Worst service ever! Had a large group of 12 after work, place was empty and the waitress acted like we were an inconvenience the whole time. We asked the price of something and she actually told us to look in the menu for it. She would ask if we needed anything as she was walking away so we were actually unable to order because she was gone before we could answer her and she wouldn’t come back for a very long time so we had to keep going to the bar to order. Also, she didn’t split up our bill so she could consider us a «large group» and add 18% gratuity. I have never been to a bar that didn’t split up a bill individually. We spent a TON of money and should have been treated better. The new look is great but I will NEVER return. Apparently the waitress is the owner’s girlfriend so obviously she thinks she can do whatever she wants. Have never had a worse dining/drinking experience in my life.

Terrible Service. Had to get up and go to bar to get a beer. It’s like the customers are a burden! Mediocre food at best. Have been there a few times and has never changed. Will not go back. Go to one of the other establishments in the area.

Had a bouncer come up to our table, 15 min before closing and yell at us to «get the f*** out» he stood there and kept telling us to leave. I explained that my friend, who was driving, was drinking water, and that we had time before the bar closed. He made a rude comment then left our table after another individual said we were fine if we left at closing.

We wanted to give this place a try. Our group of 4 came in on Thursday 2÷11÷16 around 8:20 pm to get a bite to eat and drinks. Myself, my husband, brother in law. And sister in law sat down at a table and after 15 + minutes of being ignored we had enough. It would have been understandable if when we came in we were acknowledged, but we weren’t. One of the workers(girl) walked past us but never looked at us or any verbal that someone would be with us momentarily. The sad part is there were several empty tables and two employees that I observed working. After the girl served a group close by food @ the bar and still never acknowledged us we decided to leave and give our business to another local establishment.

I want to be one of those hipster foodie people(minus the black rimmed glasses, converse sneakers and skinny jeans) so I thought I would check out a gastropub. If liking this place is a requirement for being a hipster foodie, I’ll pass. The ambiance was great, so I thought that would translate into the food being good too. It wasn’t. My philly cheese steak sandwich looked appetizing but it had the taste of a Steakum sandwich, which is fine for 2 dollars, but not 11. Overall, I would not eat there unless someone else was buying. Actually… the person I went with did buy and it still didn’t make for a good dining experience, so never mind.

Had the montecristo today it was awful you couldn’t taste the ham or turkey or even the Swiss cheese… the cream cheese with the berries was a disaster. The waitress was very nice and cheerful we didn’t have any drinks as it was lunch time thought the place would be busy for lunch now we know why and when we got back to the car a lovely ticket from Diamond parking… the space wasn’t numbered against their building didn’t think we needed to pay

Staff is great, regular drink pricing(milk jug beers are the go to for my crew), pretty standard quick eat bar food menu. Plenty of TVs if you want to watch games. Late nights are always packed.

Checked out the Globe for lunch today and I loved it! Their menu is varied enough to meet any cravings you might have but simple enough for them to get your meal absolutely perfect. Their prices are reasonable and the setting is great — it’s more of an evening place, so the deep booths and dark colors help add to the bar-like atmosphere, but it was perfect for lunch, too. I had the potato-wrapped salmon and it was delicious, juicy, and huge — easily enough for a dinner entrée or a 2nd meal. Salmon was thick and flavorful, as were the green beans and mashed potatoes with which it was served. My lunch companions raved over their sandwiches as well — a gooey, brie-covered chicken sandwich and an artichoke grilled cheese that made me consider coming back for dinner tonight. The only bummer was the service — and it was GREAT! But the poor server was working all alone and she was running the bar and helping all the tables — that girl was running her BUTT off and did everything so well. I think if they had a few more folks on hand at lunch I’d make this a more regular lunch spot. Give that girl a raise!(working at 1pm on 09.03.15) She ROCKED it.

Came here with a group of six ladies late on a Saturday night. Great DJ and the place was packed! Didn’t stay long but would go back for the music and people watching alone.

I am going to give this a 3 ½. Great remodel. Love the oval bar and tv’s. This is an excellent place to watch sporting events. Our service was average with decent draft beer selections. We tried a few things on the menu. We split the ribeye steak sandwich. It was good as it had sauteed onions on it and an excellent gravy dipping sauce. The fries were not great though. The side salad was ok but for some reason was served in a box container. Weird. The pigs in blanket appetizer was decent and worth the price. Prices fair on food. Very loud in here but I enjoyed the overall vibe. Will definitely go back and try more things on menu and will definitely come here for a Hawks game.

The remodel is super cool and the service was great. We were excited by the menu and ordered the pigs in a blanket and mushroom burger. The pigs in a blanket was good! Enjoyed the fries. But then got to the burger and the mushrooms were so salty they were inedible. I was starving and tried to eat what I could but my tastebuds became numb so I really had to stop– eck! The rating is primarily for the food. We were the only folks in the place, but I hope the staff would be as attentive regardless.

Menu at first glance was exciting. I wanted to try everything. But once we got our food it was clear that the owners know nothing about food and have nobody advising them about cooking. Aside from the fries, all of what we ordered was terrible. I was excited that they reopened this business and really wanted it to succeed. But, you can’t just open a restaurant with no restaurant experience. And I’m really upset that they took an historic building and turned it into the university district meat-market dive. Spokane lost a great place with this«renovation».

Love the remodel! The drinks are great and the menu is very creative. I had a monte cristo, it was delicious. The service is wonderful. We watched a game there Sunday and I was impressed by how quick and helpful the bartender was. It’s a little loud but fits the atmosphere. We will be back soon! Great place to enjoy a game and drink some beer.

Great vibe and upbeat atmosphere however, if you plan to expect to have a conversation with anybody that you bring on a Friday or Saturday night good luck! The music is very loud and it’s hard to hold a conversation with anyone. A total college bar and good for the locals!

We have enjoyed the food and atmosphere here in the past. Yesterday we brought my brother here to show him what a great place it is. We came in, a server acknowledged us, and then we proceeded to be ignored for the next 20 minutes. The one server was busy, but the two bar tenders were not slammed. They could have at least got our table started. We finally gave up and left. We walked down the street to another establishment and spent our money there. It’s too bad.

First time to the Globe since the renovations and I was impressed. A nice contrast of old brick building vibe with some modern flare. I stopped by after Bloomsday for a refreshment with some friends and enjoyed great service and though I only had a pint of Union Jack IPA on draft, those who ordered food spoke highly of the Hawaiian Sliders and the Caesar Salad. I felt the menu looked well rounded with a nice selection of shareable appetizers, a section of burgers and a few entrees that sounded good. I’ll add to this when I go back for some grinds.

Nice environment, club feel but also has a variety of food for eveyones taste. This review is for dinner service, which to be frank I wouldn’t come back for dinner… Just drinks because it gets loud and if your with a group its hard to talk over. The grilled cheese sandwich with veggies was pretty good, the fries were standard frozen diner style. One person in our group had a raw steak on their sandwich, so the kitchen may need some more training. It would be a good place to grab a drink in the evening hours before it gets packed with college kids.

Hanna is the bomb. She efficiently handled a table of 22. Keeping our food and drinks flowing in an efficient manner She showed what it takes to keep repeat customers. No one in our group will ever question patronizing The Globe in the future based on Hanna’s service

Arrived on a Friday night. Line of about fifteen. 10 – 12 girls 21 tops walked up asked the bouncer if they could skip the line and he ushered them in. That’s all I need. First and last time I will bother to visit this place. Just another run of the mill hook up bar. If you want food worth eating or drinks worth drinking division is not the street.

I came on the first, opening night and loved it so much I am back three days later! The staff is so friendly. The food makes up for any slowness in service. The menu is very diverse, something for everybody. The French Onion Chicken Sandwich is to die for. The fried green beans are my favorite appetizer. I could drink the cucumber wasabi ranch dressing. Great beer selection from domestics to imports and full bar. The atmosphere is open and inviting. They have 10+ TVs to watch your favorite game on and the music is great. I’m a true fan and will be a loyal follower.
