Went there today. The sandwich didn’t really taste like anything(no good flavors) and the bread was so dry we couldn’t eat it. Been wanting to try it, so now we have and we won’t be back. Bummer.

First off, this place is not a flavorless filler. They put A LOT of meat in the sandwich. It’s only expensive if you get the large sandwich and that should honestly feed 4 people. I get the mini, $ 5.00 plus some change. Plenty of meat plenty of flavor. Very friendly, very quick, great sandwiches!

Very disappointing, wish it had more seasoning or condiment choices on my sandwich, seasoning in the meat or something.. .. the only thing, really baffled me, the cold sandwich i got, super soggy. By the time I received my order, got home to eat(10 min drive) and it was wet. Like, my bread was soaking in water. What is up with that? I had to redress my sandwich on bread I had at home. This place does not compare to the south hill location. Plus, the portions added to the sandwiches are not consistent, one half of my sandwich had more meat than lettuce and vice versa to the other half. Also, if I’m paying almost $ 25 — $ 30 for two of us, it better be mind blowing.. .. and it wasn’t.

I’ve been in twice now, first time it was ok, though I felt a bit rushed by the staff to pick something even though there was no one behind me. Second time was a disaster, there was two people in front of me, noone behind me, and at least four staff that I saw. I ordered a cold sandwich and a hot one, then waited and watched as only 1 of the staff did anything to make any of the food, and he made the other people’s hot sandwich start to finish before even starting mine(there was much more space on the grill) so I ended up waiting a solid 20 minutes. Then took the food home and started to eat, my wife got a couple bites into hers and realized that about a ¼ of the chicken was raw. We called them, they took our info said they would send us free sandwich coupons. That was three weeks ago, still nothing.

I used to go to JM where I used to live in Ohio and really liked them, but they went under. When they opened here, I was excited. I have been to both the South Hill & Division stores. It’s an expensive sandwich. I got the big one tonight(Turkey & Swiss) and it costs $ 14. Maybe it’s me, but I had to tell them to lighten up on the oil & vinegar because the first time I had one in the South Hill store it was too much… didn’t taste good. The second time around it was good(a lot of turkey) but the bread was a bit dry & crusty at 8PM. I recommend going earlier or tell them to heat up your bread. One thing that irritated me was I ordered a sandwich and I’m waiting to take it. I charged it and they tell you about giving them a 15, 20, or 25% tip. I was rather shocked at this: both times. The first time I felt guilty and gave them 15%. But What exactly am I tipping them for? I already paid $ 14 for a sandwich. 15−20% more is $ 2 – 3. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m for the little guy. I just don’t think it’s necessary at JM. I don’t want to discourage those of you who want to tip. In conclusion, I like JM; go early, be ready to pay a tidy sum or you can also go to The Sub Connection, which charges $ 7.50 for a foot long sandwich. I probably like SC better, but they are only open till 4 and have 1⁄3 the amount of turkey. I hope JM makes it here. I’m rooting for them.

The girls behind the counter were very nice but the service was so slow(only two other customers in the store at the time), my order was wrong which I didn’t find out because I took it to go and didn’t unwrap it until I got home and it was super spendy. The food was ok but it wasn’t what I ordered so there’s that. Nice people but slow, inadequate service.

If you are looking to spend $ 15.00 on just a sandwich than this is your place. It looks like a lot of food until you open it up and find out that it is mostly bread and lettuce. There is very little meat or cheese in the sandwich and it wasn’t that tasty. I had their popular Original Italian sub and it had no flavor. Pros: restaurant was very clean and employees were friendly. Cons: no flavor to the food. Too expensive and all filler.

Awesome management, awesome staff and awesome food. It’s right next to our house and a welcome change from Subway and JJ. Haven’t had a bad sandwich yet, the staff is helpful and ready to answer questions and give suggestions. They’re also running a promotion giving money to local schools, they’re a class act and no joke. Glad they’re this close. Highly recommend the Philly cheese and the jersey shores favorite. Fantastic bread, and the wraps are delicious too. I would welcome this as a regular lunch spot. Bottom line? Delicious, reasonably priced, and worth a shot. KCCO!!!
