The Phở here is delicious! The small size is large enough that I had to take some home. My only issue with this is the bowl is not big enough for all that they give you, so it was a little more difficult to eat, but delicious none the less. Service was excellent and the food came quickly. I wasn’t a huge fan of the freid spring rolls, but they were ok as an appetizer. I only wish they sold beer or wine, I will definitely return!

The phở is the best I’ve had. I’m not an expert on phở but this place is consistent, has good flavor, and the vibe in the restaurant is pretty good. I recomend this place for anyone looking for something a little different that doesn’t seem like it came out of a bag or you could make at home. If you go get the phở.

We have come here quite a few time and the service is always mediocre at best. The sweet and sour chicken is usually on point. However we have also tried the kung pao chicken and it was basically raw veggies that all you could taste was the mouthfull of bell pepper. The phở itself is general delicious at this resturant. The chairbroiled pork vermicelli here has such an overpowering taste of the pork marinade that the sweetened fish sauce is sadly lost. The thai iced tea is made from a powdered pre mix and isnt appealing to the pallet at all. The staff don’t ever seem to care about your experience or their customer service; which is extremely disappointing.

Yum! Love the phở out of this place! The bowls are huge– even the small bowls. Although my husband isn’t a phở fan, there’s things on the menu he loves too. They are always super fast with your meal– ideal for lunch if you only have a short time. Great service. Great phở.

This place has amazing food with great prices and big portions. Very quick service rather you eat in the restaurant or take it to go. The staff is very kind. Last week I got the Beef Broccoli and ate it there and this week I got the Phở Ga to go. I will definitely be back soon.

**REVIEWBASEDONSERVICEONLY** Worst service ever!!! Placed an order for pick up over the phone today and the person that answered was very curt which is fine except she hung up without telling me how long the food would take. I figured like any normal place it would be about 20 minutes. By the time I finished my errands it was well past 30 minutes since I had called. When I arrived the restaurant was half full which is great for them on a Monday night. Well I got to the counter and no one would acknowledge me. So I decided that I would just address myself. I told him I had placed an order. It took him a minute to find my ticket and when he did he ran my card and handed it back to me. He didn’t say anything about my order. I asked him how long it would take and he informed me it would be «awhile». I asked him how long a while would be and his answer was awhile. I told him I needed to know how long in minutes it would take so that maybe I could pick up my boyfriends food at another restaurant. He said it would take another 30 minutes! I would’ve been nice to know how long it was going to take before the person that answered the phone abruptly hung up on me. It would’ve also been nice to know how long it would’ve before I paid for the food. It also would’ve been nice to know without me having to badger him about it. I understand that they may have been busy but it would’ve been nice and courteous of the staff to inform me that the wait for takeout would be well over an hour.

Called in my order at 230. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up at 330. And it wasn’t ready. I know now never to do that again. Luckily for them I’ve apparently got time to spare.

The phở is not bad, its pretty consistent the times I’ve been here and it serves the craving well. The interior is one of the nicer ones in the Spokane area. The service can be really hit and miss. Basically they get your order and bring your water and then sayonara. But that’s standard for these restaurants. I would have given Phở Van a solid 4, but then I got my bill the other day. I was charged an extra $ 1.99 for«extras,» which was as I was told, an extra lime wedge and asking that my beansprouts be steamed. It’s just $ 2 but the reasoning was just funny to me how it was for an extra lime wedge and steaming the beansprouts that already come with your Phở. Kinda stingy and a bit greedy yah think when other Phở places in the greater Spokane area does it for you for free. *For those who don’t know, steamed beansprouts is actually the traditional way they are served. It makes a difference to not rather cook raw beansprouts in your phở broth at the table because it changes the flavor of the soup by releasing water and change the temp of the broth. But the most important reason is sanitation since we don’t know how long the beansprouts were sitting and where and what kind of water its washed with. They are the number one reason if you’ve ever had food illness after phở since they are perfect for harboring bacteria. If you’ve ever had a bite of beansprouts in your broth and it tasted like kitchen sink, that’s a bad sign.

This was a great meal went in with my friends had two plates that I finished on my way home. The service was quick and effective. Few cob web’s near curtains but hey who cares. I had gotten the house special and a large bowl of phở. My other friends had two other soups that they had trouble eating and a plate of food they saved for May all in all in going back for thirds.

This place has the best phở soup in the city. My wife and I have tried six other places and we always come back to this place it is the best. We have got to know the owner and he told us the broth can take up to 24 hours which is why the soup is so good. The price and size of the servings can’t be beat. I can split this large soup with my wife get a side of fresh rolls and we leave full. If you order the soup and the combo plate be sure to take the leftovers home you will never be able to eat it all.

Place had a nice ambiance for a phở restaurant being that they are usually little whole n the wall places. Clean and inviting with very nice service. The phở was ok the broth wasnt all that great but it did the job. The eggrolls i ordered were very very bland and oily. When i left i still felt sorta hungry although i had ordered a large. It just wasnt that filling. I deff expected a better broth and better flavors especially for the price. Also there was no salt on the table and since all the dishes lacked major flavor i think it would be in there best interest to offer that. I didnt entirely regret eating here just should had did so at lunch instead of dinner as my appetite is larger at dinner time and this was more like a snack

Since I’ve moved to Pullman I haven’t eaten a decent bowl of phở(it’s kind of depressing). Until today, I drove to Spokane and stopped by this little gem. It’s officially my new favorite phở joint in Washington. It’s nicely decorated and the food comes out quickly. Plus, the phở is authentic and tastes almost like phở shops in California. It’s my go-to place when I’m craving phở and willing to drive an hour and 15 minutes away.

FYI — the large Phở is massive. The small size has less noodles, I will go with that next time. The soup broth was flavorful like it had been simmering all day and there was a nice portion of meat. The restaurant is a nice size and it was clean. The staff was friendly and smiling, which makes a difference in my dining experience. I can relax and enjoy the atmosphere when I feel welcome. If there is a downside it would be that they don’t serve Banh Mi, nevertheless, I was very pleased and will frequent this location on my Spokane visits.

Phở-nomenal! I was so happy to find a nice phở place downtown. Affordable phở that is beyond delicious. Flavorful broth and the bowls come packed with meat and noodles. The wait staff is quick and polite. I recommend the #1 and the #7.

Delicious phở broth and kind staff. They also have vegetarian options which is great(my sister in law lived that). Not a fan of tendon so I got one of the many variants without it. They also have a chicken phở which I’m tempted to try next time. Their spring rolls tasted fresh and had shrimp in it which took me by surprise but it’s okay because I like shrimp and it was delicious, I’m used to «spring» rolls being veggie but I’m not even mad. The Thai iced tea tasted fresh and less sugary than other places that I’ve had it.

I’d say it was pretty good. I went today with some friends for lunch. It seems very popular which to me is a good sign. I had beef phở with egg rolls. Egg rolls were super good. The phở had something sweet in it that I wasn’t too fond of. It wasn’t overly strong or anything, but for me, I just didn’t care for it. Aside from that I would return to try some other dishes.

Really good, friendly and clean place. I’m only in Spokane once or twice a year and this is a dependable, good place to get takeout Phở.

Came here for lunch and had the roasted duck noodle soup-PERFECT for a cold, wet day in Spokane, especially when you’re sick. The bowls are huge, with fantastic flavor! The duck is tender and tasty, the broth is sweet-savory, and the veggies are crisp-tender. So much deliciousness for one bowl! My hubby had the chili chicken, and I snagged a bite – also scrumptious! Waitstaff? Meh. And my son’s lunch took a while to come out. Wasn’t happy about that.
