Amazing pizza! SMALL establishment :(don’t go with a big group because they don’t have seating for large crowds and you may be separated in order to accommodate the size. Don’t let that discourage you though because the pizza is too notch.

Flat out the best pizza in Spokane! Probably better than Serious Pie in Seattle which was our previous favorite. From the Traditionalist to the Progressive pizzas they are all great. We have now tried seven of the pies and all are great in their own way but The Dalton was over the top good. True wood fired pizzas crafted with care and a great wait staff in a fun farm/industrial atmosphere.

We recently stopped for lunch. We should have had pizza… but I just don’t understand how a town the size of Spokane can have SOMANY restaurants that want to serve pizza. It just seems new restaurants can’t come up with anything else. We had sandwiches which were not your run-of-the-mill on a toasted bread that were pretty good. There were maybe 5 different sandwiches and quite a few salads… but everything kind of sounded the same. We liked the«fries» and they had a pretty good selection of beers. The ambiance was the same as it was before the new owners took over. Lunch was decent… but I think I would try the pizza if you’re thinking of going here.

I love the flying goat and love this place even more. the beer selection is amazing lots of IPA’s on tap. they now have the most popular flying goat pizza to choose from and some south hill exclusives. I love the pizza with brussel sprouts on top the bluff and boulevard never would have imagined eating brussel sprouts on pizza amazing. I also like the kiernan arugula sausage and an egg its like eating breakfast on a pizza so good and the dalton and the fairview Im impressed so amazing

This is my kind of place. Wood fired pizza. Great combinations of pizza and food. The food is worth the price. Decent portions. This isn’t your standard pizza place. Great food, great pizza and really good beer. I suggest the Power House Porter. It’s smooth and delicious. Perfect for washing down my Caesar salad and my 30th Off Grand neat pizza. This is a really comfortable place with a great atmosphere. Service is quick and friendly which is always a plus. R

Grateful to have a good pizza place on the South Hill. Like its older brother, the Flying Goat, you can’t go too wrong. These two are the best pizza I’ve had in Spokane.

I have passed by this place numerous times and never stopped in because I always thought it didn’t look«kid friendly» from the outside but yesterday my husband and I decided to stop in with some friends and our two children and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The dishes we tried were as follows: Rockwood Avocado Pi Bites Lincoln Mezzaluna Wall Street Fairview Pizza South Hill Pizza The appetizers were tasty. Their pico de gallo is ERMERGERD delicious and the Lime Crème complimented the avocado nicely. A really perfect start to our meal. Everyone liked the Pi Bites and the delicious cheese sauce that accompanies it, and my kids(2 and 7) were especially fans. The Lincoln Mezzaluna is tangy and very spicy, so I would go into that with caution if you aren’t a fan of anything more than mildly spiced. It had a lot of Thai flavor to it, and I thought it was pretty tasty. My husband loved the Wall Street. He got double meat and ate all of it. The sauce is pretty tangy on that as well, but I thought it was a pretty good sandwich. We also shared the Fairview and South Hill pizzas. The Fairview is so delicious. Sweet and rich but not overwhelmingly so. I don’t care for Alfredo and I ate more than one piece of it. I really, really loved the South Hill Pizza. Its so reminiscent of pizza found on every street corner in NY, especially one of my favorite places in Corona– Queens. This pizza takes it to a gourmet level with savory prosciutto, topped with a pile of fresh arugula and drizzled with truffle oil(yum!) and shaved romano. If you are a lover of simple yet fresh and flavorful, this is the pie for you. The kids absolutely loved their little cheese pizzas and enjoyed their leftovers for lunch today(too many pi bites before dinner). The food was perfectly portioned and tasty and our waitress was super sweet and immediately started pointing out popular dishes when I told her this was our first time in, which I loved. We will definitely be hitting this place again!!!

Second visit here and feeling thankful they are in the neighborhood! I had attentive service and great, fresh food. Can’t go wrong with Pi Bites. They are like a savory kronut!

Loved the atmosphere of this place. The pi bites are to die for. My only issue with the place is seating, especially with the weather getting colder there isn’t much room inside unless you sit in the bar. They do not take reservations unless you come with a group of 8+ so there is always a wait for a table. The wings were okay. We ordered a level 1 which were decent and a level 4 which were just too hot with not much flavor. The pizzas are delicious. they have a ton of different pizzas with different unique toppings.

Two words: Pi Bites. Three more words: Kolsch Cheese Sauce. After that, you’ll be speechless. My friend described these little nuggets as «savory cronuts»(descriptor cred: Mikayla H). I couldn’t agree more. They are buttery and crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. Dunked in the kolsch cheese sauce, they become melt-in-your-mouth bites of salty, crunchy, carbohydrate bliss. So, if that doesn’t inspire you, I give up. Of course, there’s other ways to consume perfectly cooked dough here; the pizzas look divine, and the sandwich bread is made in house. Such creative toppings for all appetites, vegan included. There’s also salads, which I had to balance out my Pi Bite binge. A gorgeous beet, arugula, feta, pine nut combo. I watched it being made in the open kitchen, and was impressed by how much attention my humble salad got. Every ingredient was thoughtfully presented, and those beets… thinly sliced and full of flavor. The modern gastropub vibe is perfect for all occasions: dates, family meals, friend gatherings, and casual chilling. The outdoor patio with firepit looks prime for cozy evenings. Service was friendly & fast, and prices are perfectly fair. Note the bottled«dessert» beers to-go, too!

You walk in and immediately get that feeling that just maybe this place is cooler than you are. Lots of natural wood and metal accents, with a toss-in of some marble for a little extra juxtaposition. They have a special lunch menu where you can get any of their pizzas as an individual size and add a side salad if you want. If you want to order from their regular menu, though, they bring that one to the table, as well. The lunch size pizza portion is just right. It’s a good deal. I love the Fairview pizza from Flying Goat and Republic Pi has added it to their menu now, so I of course ordered that. Most of their pizza choices are unique to them but mixed in with a couple of the Goat favorites. They also have a few lunch sandwiches that aren’t on the regular menu, including the muffuletta which you shouldn’t miss! My coworker ordered this and I had to steal a bite for the sake of the review, obviously. It’s an Italian sandwich that uses their pizza crust as the bread. I love their thinner style, slightly charred crust and I love the flavor mixtures in that sandwich so it was a great combo. It could use more of everything in the sandwich so that its heftier, but the flavor didn’t disappoint at all. Another coworker of mine ordered the Wilson pizza. Don’t worry, I stole a bite of theirs too. For the sake of the review… Not bad, just not my favorite. It was a little bland compared to their other pizzas. One warning I would give you is to not waste time with their Pi Bites. Some people enjoy them according to other reviews, but they have the texture and flavor of cheap, day old breadsticks that have been deep fried. Not a fried and still fluffy dough bite like we were expecting. But perhaps we just got a bad/old batch. The first time I came here it was about 2 weeks after opening and I was sorely disappointed because I was comparing them to their counterpart Flying Goat, which I love, and it paled in comparison. I am happy I finally gave them another shot, though! They have made me a believer and I will be returning soon to try another new pizza flavor.

I wasn’t expecting much because I didn’t have the best experience at Flying Goat. The Pi Bites were delicious and our #37 was really good too. The service was good. The ambiance was nice. And best of all, this place was affordable. I’ll be back.

Everything made from Scratch? Yes indeed… Including the house breads, pizza doughs, Garlic bread, & the like! First time in. WHOKNEW… Boyfriend & me shared a pizza with house made bacon generously placed on top a home-made savory garlic sauce. Snowy taste of bacon joins that savory garlic Sussex and … Our mouths had a party! And don’t me started on those House-made, hand-filled jalapeño dumplings. WELIKEITHOT& You Delivered… Oh someone paid attention so we had room on our table and came up with a hip-n-trendy stand for the pizza. Nice chill environment for us over 40s crowd… Our new place. Our Go-To Spot… HANDSDOWN!

Terrible. We ordered a chicken Ceasar salad, Brussel sprouts, and a pepperoni pizza. All the food was burnt, even the lemon for my salad. I would definitely not eat here again.

Great pizzas and a nice environment. The wood oven is in plain view and really cool to see! Service was friendly and helpful. They do have some of the same pizzas as their sister restaurant which is good to see. I’m glad it’s bigger than the goat. If you live on the south hill this is a must visit!

I pledge allegiance To the Pi Of the wood-fired ovens on South Hill And to the Republic For which it cooks One pizza Under the cheese Irrefutable With liberty and craft beer for all. Gimme pear and gorgonzola pizza, or give me death. Patrick Henry would agree. (In crust we trust. It’s right there on the menu.)

Finally a new place in the neighborhood! I’ve eaten here about four times since they opened last week and everything has been exceptional. From the beer to the pizza crust and everything in between. A really great date night spot! The Pi Bites are habit forming and are served with a Kolsch cheese sauce.(#fatkidproblems)The Husband loves a good Hawaiian pizza and their version is definitely elevated with prosciutto and jalapeños. The Vegan Pie is really good(if you’re into that kind of thing.) I personally love Pesto and Brussel sprouts! And I also love a thin crust!!! But my favorite thing on the menu… Chocolate Stout Pudding with fresh whipped cream served in a Guinness glass. UPDATE: I love the new Lunch Menu! the Veggie Mezzaluna is absolutely perfect with a cup of soup! Mmm!

Went here Friday with friends. We sat out at the patio and ordered the Pi bites, and two pizzas. Pi bites were out of this world, pizza was good, and service fantastic. Looking at the menu his would be the perfect place to order a bunch of appetizers. There were so many I wanted to try. My husband loves beer, so the large selection was fantastic. We still think the Flying Goat is where it’s at. But will definitely be back

Artisan pizza is certainly gaining popularity and Republic Pi knows how to do it well. Sister restaurant to The Flying Goat but you would think they would have their own branded pizza boxes. That’s alright though because I was there for the food. Our table had the jalapeño dumpling which were just the right size morsels, the Pi Bites(pretty basic but done well served with a cheese sauce), & fried avocado slices with their pico de gallo. Their pico de gallo is pretty tasty. This place is super kid friendly and every is kind and courteous. We also ordered 3 pizzas all of which were cooked perfectly in their oven. We sat in the back near the area they were making the food and it was actually quite nice. I like how you can also add other toppings to the pizza. In particular, we had the South Hill Pizza and added truffle butter and mushrooms… very tasty combo!
