Worst customer service ever! Joe, the manager, KNOWINGLY gave us bad bread and then refused to give us a refund when we complained. He said, «There was some bad bread today but I thought what I gave you was good enough.» Good enough? That’s your level of pride in the food you put out? Good enough? Well, it wasn’t even close. It was so hard that we couldn’t even bit into it. Then there were hardly any toppings on the sandwiches at all. They used to put at least 50% more on them than they do now. I simply asked for a refund to which Joe flat out refused. He would only offer to make me two more sandwiches which I refused? Why would I want to come back to a place whose quality and service has deteriorated so badly over the last few years? This was their last shot for me and they failed miserably. I then asked to speak to someone above Joe so he gave me the number of the«owner» who hasn’t had anything to do with the day-to-day operations in over 11 years. I guess Joe was just tired of hearing what a lousy manager he his so he tried to pawn me off. I guess the truth hurts. The«owner» was gracious but told me that there were things that Joe did that he did not agree with but that since it was Joe’s operation, he couldn’t step in. So I will never go to Sub Division again and I hope you won’t either.

I freaking love this place. Their subs are simple but damn good. The overall place looks super sketchy but the food is good and the staff is friendly. One of the best places in Spokane to get a sub !

Best sandwich in town! Amazing subs, on crispy and chewy bread. They make it to order, and it has never disappointed. Don’t let the shabby atmosphere scare you away, it is a true gem!

Not so much. The staff was great though. The food left much to be desired. Not real bad, just average.

The décor is very low maintenance here, as evinced by buckets catching stuff leaking from the roof and areas of open ceiling where tiles should be. I get that things happen and roofs can leak, but this looks like it has been an ongoing issue for awhile now. Person taking my order was very friendly, and also got my order ready super fast. Place was somewhat busy but it looked like only her and she did a good job of keeping it all moving. They claim to make subs«just like back east.», and I will say they got it half right. I used to live in Philadelphia for a few years so know what«back east» is all about. The part they did well on was the bread. Soft but firm on the outside with great flavor. Inside was another story. Salami and pepperoni kind of bland. Good ham though. Veggies kinda sparse. Flavor of stuff inside the sandwich just not setting off any bells. Overall, I am kinda underwhelmed. This place has been here a long time so I figured they must have something special going on, but $ 10 later for a sandwich and soda and I feel somewhat disenchanted. May try other sandwiches and give them another chance, just not right away. Frankly, I will probably just hit Jimmy John’s around the corner.

Best sandwiches in Spokane! Meat is cut to order, bread is soft, veggies are fresh. I would recommend to anyone!

First sandwich place in Spokane where I agree with the four and five star reviews already on here. This place is a great option for a really good sandwich. They are pretty traditional but have a list of optional toppings and ingredients if you want something different. I had the #1 which is ham, pepperoni, salami, provolone, onion, tomato, lettuce, oil and vinegar. I added a bit of mayo and peppers and I’ll likely never try anything else off the menu as this is perfect for me. This place is very good. As one reviewer said, they need to invest in building a bit, but I can’t complain about the sandwich.

My family started going to Sub Division when it was new in the 80s. I am happy to say it has hardly changed at all since then… including the arcade games and most importantly THETASTE! Though I’ve moved away from Spokane, each time I return to visit I ensure I get to Sub Division and order a #15ASAP.

People in Spokane must love sandwiches. You can wait for 15 minutes in line at any number of generic chain sub restaurants. I am hesitant to write this review because I am afraid you will learn my secret. I guess that might be good though because the chain restaurants around Sub Division are always busy and SD is not. When I am having a rough day(which never happens as a hospice nurse) I find comfort and the taste of home that I had at my local sub shop in Jersey. Sub Division transports me through space and time to another great place run by a local family that delivered the same comfort food. The bread at sub division is chewy on the outside and downy soft in the middle. The meats are not all turkey based like the chain crap, their salami is pork. Their provolone has the tang that only aging brings, their ham did not come from butterball. They make mouth watering sandwiches and no one seems to know it. Maybe it is because they have a modest little spot with plastic chairs. The owners are friendly and not trained by corporate to be annoyingly perky. I am done with this review… because it has made me too hungry. I hope Sub Division is not closed on Christmas Eve.

Best homemade subs in town. Priced accordingly. Everything is cut right in front of you as they make your sub on the great bread that they use. A full sub runs about 7.50 ish but you get a huge sub with quality ingredients. prefer this place to any subway or jimmie johns. Local place which i like.

Where the décor lacks, the food is dynamite! LOVE the bread they use… Great prices for what you get!

Seriously the best subs in Spokane. The subs are loaded with meats and cheeses, unlike the other places in town. The interior of the shop could use some attention in the maintenance department. This is the reason for the missing star.

This is the best sub sandwich place in Spokane, hands down. Not a pretty place, no corporate fluff like Jimmy John’s, but if you want a REAL sub(as close as you can get to a Jersey sub here in Spokane), this is it. Meat is sliced TOORDER(that makes a big difference in flavor), they’re fast, and the prices are low. I’ve ordered the 5 meats and cheese, the spinach artichoke veggie sandwich(amazing spinach artichoke spread), and the meatball sub. Like the previous review said, the full sized sandwiches are big and are a two-meal size, unless you’re really hungry. Skip the Subways(blech), the Jimmy Johns, and Dominis(dry, plain)… come get some real flavor at this place.

This is my favorite sandwich place in Spokane. Meat is sliced for your sandwich right in front of you, served on fresh french bread. Service is fast and the food is cheap. I have a pretty big appetite and I can get a sandwich that fills me up for under $ 5. It kind of looks like a dump from the outside, but the food prep area is clean and the sandwiches always taste great. Give them a try next time you’re heading for Subway or Jimmy John’s.

Best value subs in Spokane! This is definitely not a place for a nice lunch out, the seating is outdoor patio furniture(inside) but that is no problem because of how great the subs are. for about seven bucks you can get a seven meats two cheese sandwich that could easily be two meals. I would recommend either the Nautilus(5 meats 1 cheese) or my personal favorite, the French Dip. Its not even on the menu but if you ask for it you get a huge sandwich piled high with roast beef, onions and tons of cheese. Also some really great au’jus sauce. On top of all this they don’t slice the meats till you order your sandwich for ultimate freshness.
