Hello to the owner(s) of this great looking spot! We’ve heard positive things about your place and my fiancé and I had to come check you out. We’re both in the industry and have been for many years and are always seeking a place to frequent. So on 12 – 23 the gal and guy behind the bar smiled and greeted us but when I asked for a particular martini of which I could see you had the ingredients she simply said«no». Where I work and what I’m used to saying is «I don’t know that one but tell me what you’re thinking or let’s improvise». So I kindly asked for a beer list. She told me to look at the cooler, which is difficult considering it’s on the floor in the bar and the view is obstructed by patrons whom I shouldn’t ask to leave their seats. Should I attempt this despite of an unwilling bartender and an impossible angle of vision? From any seat… Call me crazy but I would of rattled off a fee beers and asked«IPA? Pilsner? Pale ale? Porter?» Well this girl on this night before Christmas eve couldn’t be bothered. Her co worker looked embarrassed. The ironic thing is that we were giving 35% holiday tips to the few places we went and were just feeling the holiday spirit and a bit thirsty and hungry. Too bad that there are so many options, we won’t be back.

These people are liars. We ordered 2 shots of Pendleton. It was not pendleton, it was some terrible well whiskey. Will not return here to drink and advise friends to steer clear of the snooty attitudes here.

While you may think this is a kitchen tool store, or a whipped goods supply house, it is actually a small bar dedicated to the love of Whisk(ey). I appreciate their addition to the downtown scene as an option for whiskey, beer, whiskey cocktails, or pizza. Ended up there on a busy Friday night with a small group. Tab was about $ 17 bucks total for two fancy drinks and two pieces of good pizza. Happy hour is active until 7pm even on Friday so get there as your first stop of the night on the weekend and enjoy the mellow vibe. Waitress learned our names as well! Cheers!

Silly me wasn’t aware enough to make the connection between the name«Whisk» and having a specialty with whiskeys. Regardless, this place was really good. Great happy hour deal with all drinks being a dollar off. $ 3 beer? Yes please! $ 6 delightful cocktail? Don’t mind if I do! I don’t know the name of the bevie the bartender made me– but it was Pendleton, peach schnapps, club soda, and sour and it was by far one of the best things I’ve ever had. This place also has pizza by the slice, but only certain kinds so don’t expect a specialty pizza!

Good drinks. Cool location. Bartenders could be friendlier.

Love the change of pace of this spot compared to other bars in the area. Lots of great drink options, plus good pricing on beers if liquor isn’t your game. Great spot to meet up and have some casual conversation.

This bar was a particularly refreshing spot compared to the others in close proximity. Unpretentious atmosphere and a chill vibe I felt immediately at ease in this place. The bartender greeted us when we entered and was very friendly throughout the whole experience. She even took the care to muttle the ginger in my Moscow mule! There was rock music playing which was a nice break from all the EDM the other bars were bumping. There is a nice outdoor seating area and it’s really close to some food trucks so you can drink and munch on some gourmet hotdogs! The other patrons were friendly and laid back… We will definitely return to this happy drinking hole!

What a fun new spot. $ 5 Pendleton everyday! Free slice of pizza with drink purchase. Courtesy of Pacific Avenue Pizza. Super friendly staff. And they have a patio! Happy Hour 4 – 7 $ 1 off drinks

I’m a huge fan of this place, actually. Not only is it located in my favorite square in Spokane, it has some of the most attractive specials in town. The free pizza with drink purchase is awesome and with $ 5 Pendleton, it’s a match made in heaven. Not to mention, it’s next door to Merlyn’s comics so you can grab some floppies and chill in the patio. :)

A warm-ish evening meant drinks on their patio. Lo and behold they have a great Happy Hour and it included a slice of pizza with my whiskey. Enjoyed some Rock and Rye Slow and Low on the rocks and a great piece of Hawaiian pizza. I am definitely coming back here time and again. The setting is laid back and relaxed. The bartender was attentive. It’s a newish business so they may have a few kinks to work out… looks like they might have forgotten to include sales tax in the price of their drinks so they tack it on at the end but there’s a sign in the window that states that. Overall, this is a great place to grab a drink and sit with friends for a chat.
