Why is it that whenever I try this place for a second, third and fourth chance I still can never walk away satisfied. My wife(crazy one) and myself(sane one) have consistently tried this Applebee’s four times in the past two years and each time vow to never return. This last visit sealed the crypt, poured the concrete and lit the fast burning fuse racing towards the dynamite. The service is good, the atmosphere is fine but the food, my god the food is terrible. I’ve tried chicken, two variations of burgers and steak. Each time I wished upon a falling star to turn back time when we decided to give it another chance. First, the burgers are under seasoned, the cook thinks medium is well done and the texture is ALL wrong. It tastes like four different types of meat, falling apart in clumps in your mouth. The side of fries always taste like old grease or freshly warmed up in a microwave. The chicken is dry, tasteless and burnt on the underside. Finally, you can visibly see the meat glue on the steak which tells me I’m eating a sirloin made of multiple other scrap sirloins. So, with that said, avoid eating here however drinking is a viable option as the bar room is nice. Maybe that’s what you’re supposed to do as it always seems packed in there like sardines. Drink until you can’t taste then order. Unfortunately, Waffle House has the drunk tank food on lockdown until the end of time or until I sober up. Pros: Bar Cons: Food

We normally order take out when we visit Applebee’s. Sometimes, you will get a really nice person on the phone and other times, you will get someone who sounds like they are annoyed. It seems like there is a constant change in the management, which is unfortunate. Applebee’s is a staple restaurant, in my opinion, and we hate to have our opinion changed just because of poor management. Hoping that things settle down, and get back to normal. The only reason we do not eat in the restaurant most of the time is because the service we have had in the past is average to hardly mediocre.
