Wendy’s

I completed a survey for Wendy’s today and thought I would share some of it with my fellow Unilocaler’s:
Question was– «What, if anything did you DISLIKE about the Dave’s Hot’ N Juicy ½ lb. Double with Cheese?‘
My answer– «Yes, I don’t like the «cheese burger only» scam.
Used to be, the customer would pay extra for cheese on a hamburger, NOW you ONLY sell cheeseburgers at the higher price. There are no more HAMBURGERS with the OPTION of paying extra for cheese, there is only the option of paying THE HIGHER PRICE FOR A CHEESEBURGER minus the cheese at the higher CHEESE BURGER ONLY price.»
I don’t like cheese burgers, BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR ONE AND ASK THAT THE CHEESE BE LEFT OFF IN ORDER TO GET A HAMBURGER!
Quite a dirty little scam.
Wendy’s no longer has to SUGGESTIVE SELL you on the higher-​priced cheese burger food item, THAT’S NOW THE ONLY CHOICE FOR THE DOUBLE BURGER!!!
Sneaky, dirty, devious, shifty, deceitful, underhanded, insidious, tricky, unscrupulous, scheming, …that’s Wendy’s!

Remodel looks nice, better than your average Wendys. Lemonade was tasty. One of the better ones I’ve been in.

Burnt fries. My wrap was wrong with old wilted lettuce. Not very happy about this visit.

A very dissatisfying visit today. The first incident was in the restroom. The toilet has a mind of its own! Flushed 3 times while I was in the stall; 1^st was upon entry, 2^nd while I was STILL sitting, and 3^rd was while I was leaving. And these are no ordinary auto flushes. You’d think you’d be sucked in if you got too close! The faucet had it’s own agenda as well. As I’m washing my hands the faucet veers to the left.
Moving forward, my husband and I order our lunch. The cashier was friendly and helpful. A+ for her. We hasn’t even gotten our card back yet when the manager was yelling out that the order was ready. We get up there, and it’s not. Missing a couple items. Go to the pretty neat choose your own soda thing… Out of Sprite. Ugh, next selection. Sit down and find out Hubby’s order is wrong! Brings it back up to the «eager to move the line» manager for the correct sandwich. My sandwich was correct, but… Three chicken was huge, which is fine, but there was only a small leaf of lettuce (about a ¼ the size of the chicken and ½ the size of the roll) and a ½ of a slice of tomato. As we ate, hubby nearly done, we are batting away flies. I even overheard the elderly couple behind me comment about how they should have brought fly swatters. Meanwhile, hubby bites down on something hard in his sandwich… It was a thin piece of plastic, about an inch long. It was kind of like the plastic piece that hangs tags on clothing, but a little thicker. At that point we had had it! Even the fries were cooks and stale, but that’s kind of a mute point after everything else.
In a nutshell, not coming back!

This will be my last visit to this location. My wife said the restrooms did not work properly. They forgot part of our order. After we sat to eat I noticed I got the wrong sandwich. After I got the right sandwich and ate most of it I bit into some hard piece of plastic. And to top it off, the fries were stale. And there were flies everywhere!

My favorite for a quick and delicious fresh meal. The service was fast and friendly. This place is gorgeous, it has been completely modernized and the soda dispenser has 137 possible combinations. Amazing!!!.

I am really impressed!!! Looks like a completely different Wendy’s!!! Well, it is really! They have WIFI now and a Fireplace that puts out real heat! They have TV and a Huge Plus is the soda machines. State of the art and you can custom mix your sodas! Wendy’s has moved into the future and I approve!!! They have new desserts that look really good!!! You can call in your order now and they will have it ready when you get here!!!
