Used to go here a lot but saw a huge roach crawl across the floor last time. And you know what they say about roaches. .there’s 100 more for every one you see. I also started noticing that their ice cream often had ice crystals in it. Now we go to Sundaes on Rt 35… better ice cream(they make their own!) and better service.

This place is awesome!!! I read about it here on Unilocal and mistakenly thought it was open until 11pm every night… But they actually close at 10pm on week nights and stay open until 11pm on the weekends. We rode our bikes over and got there at 10:10pm without realizing they were closed. The nice guy behind the counter waved for us to come in anyway. We apologized for getting there late and he responded with«It’s ice cream. Everyone deserves ice cream!» What a nice guy, right?! But not only are the people here super nice, the ice cream was incredible! So many rich, delicious favors to choose from! Definitely recommend this cute shop to anyone!

absolutely amazing ice cream, always good, almost always a line. I can’t get anything else but the Hotel Black Bottom flavor, so ridiculously good. Highly recommend.

Good icecream, bad service. Girl with short blonde hair was mean ! I wasn’t ready to order but I was forced to. Icecream melts quickly too

Great ice cream, walking distance from the beach. Lita of indoor and outdoor seating. Can’t go wrong here.

What better place to come for a sundae than the Sundae Times! They make great hot fudge sundaes, mostly because they use real hot fudge. I can’t stand when I go to a place expecting hot fudge and the fudge just comes out of the bottle. The whip cream is just basic out of the can, not a huge fan. But that’s just me. The ice cream is good, my boyfriend happens to be in love with their vanilla soft serve with hot fudge on top.

This place is a convenient stop for ice cream along the shore. I had the hot fudge sundae and the hot fudge was very good: warm, thick and chocolatey. The ice cream itself had a good, clean vanilla flavor even though it was a bit«melted» in texture(and the melting was not from the hot fudge). Sundaes are much better with intact ice cream. The place was well kept and neat. Tables were not sticky which is always a plus in an ice cream place. It can get crowded in here during busy hours, which is most of the summer. Prices are fairly reasonable and the amount you get is large. Overall, it’s pretty good.

The ice cream is not amazing here. I had the chocolate banana and my friend had black raspberry. Both were meh. Also, the portions were way too large. When I order a small, I’m thinking I want just a little ice cream to satisfy my sweet tooth. I was pretty horrified to watch the server piling scoop after scoop into my cone. I cost close to $ 5 and I couldn’t finish it. Not a small. The inside is awkward looking. It feels long and narrow and there was a door open that appeared to lead into someone’s living room? When the line gets long it interferes with people coming in and out and people trying to get up from the seating and go outside. The plus side is that it’s in a good location right by the Spring Lake boardwalk and it’s nice sometimes to have ice cream while you’re strolling along or after a day at the beach. Servers also seemed really nice and attentive. But there are lots of good ice cream places in the general area that don’t offer way to much of a mediocre ice cream for too much money, so I probably won’t go back in a hurry.

Great because of its location(i.e., near the beach). Because I have a house nearby, this is also a great meeting place. Don’t order the Superman without trying it first(it’s not for everyone).

I don’t know why someone found it necessary to convert a Spring Lake house into something that looks like a library and turn that into an ice cream shop. This ice cream is simply OK, not anything you couldn’t find at a Dairy Queen or grocery store. And what kind of ice cream shop runs out of every flavor of soft serve? It’s expensive, not satisfying, and it’s not even cute inside! Lacking any kind of décor, this place is bare, barren, and sterile looking. Which is good… if it’s a hospital. Unfortunately, it’s an ice cream shop and it feels cold. And it’s not because it’s filled with ice cream.

Old fashioned ice cream shop at the Jersey Shore. They have a nice selection of flavors and a menu that offers various ways to expand your waist line. Real hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, caramel… I’m getting a craving for ice cream just thinking about Sundae Times! Yummie. Kid friendly but make sure you bring plenty of cash… One could set up an awesome sundae bar at home for the amount it will cost to satisfy the family here.
