We booked our event this summer. The Spring Lake Manor has two pretty rooms both recently redecorated. We were required to have a meeting just prior to the event in order to discuss event details. Well the day of the event, it seemed much of what had been discussed went out the window. Everything had to be again requested and multiple times dealing with one staff member who apparently had limited English language skills and then requesting a third time with an assistant manager. Food was typical catered food — I would say skimpy on the salad buffet, but apart from that adequate. Not spectacular food, but generous portions. The bakery used is a cut above and did produce an excellent dessert. Generally, I did not feel the SLM had the attention to detail, nor did they allow sufficient time in the room to attend to these details ourselves. We are talking basics here like color of banquette skirts, lay-out of tables and numbers, easel etc. Walking in forty minutes prior and not having these basic banquet staples in order was not what we were looking to have happen. Staff seemed tired and a little put upon when requested to do what we felt should have already been set up. The assistant manager seemed preoccupied. As another example, they had promised mimosas would be served, but because I forgot to request such, a few were never set out on a tray as a clue in for our guests and were therefore never served. Overall not terrible, but not top notch by any standard. This gets three stars.

WOW!!! Truly the most amazing venue for my daughter’s first birthday princess-themed celebration. Professional, efficient, and very accommodating staff, beautiful indoors and outdoors, and flawless service. Thank you for helping me plan my vision for my little princess! My family and friends are still raving about the spectacular day! It was absolutely an amazing experience!

TERRIBLE… Went there for Easter Brunch, a horrible experience. I had my table moved 3x because the table I was reserved to sit at was sat already. The lady said to just sit at any table and she would be right back, well she came back to room 3x but not to me. Finally after 10 minutess and asking different people we were moved, then that table was not designed for the amount of people we had so we were moved again. The seating was so tight I was practically sitting in my neighbors lap. There was a ton of people and only one omelet station, I waited 30min and ate my other food while standing in line(despicable). Where the line was to wait for omelet we were practically standing over people eating at tables. The stations were so poorly labeled you didn’t know where to go get or wait for what. Then they opened another buffet but they opened a second one identical to one which didn’t even have a line. I got back to my table and of course my coffee was cold at this point. Food was nothing to rave about either… you only got one SMALL juice included(they couldn’t even spare for a larger glass) For $ 32.00 ridiculous… plus an additional 20% added into bill automatically, servers were nice n didn well but to bring one juice 20%?? I defintily will never be back for any event or meal. I had a man behind me in line who said«guess we learned our lesson we will not be back here again.» So I assume many felt this way. What’s the most disappointing was this is an event hall that is suppose to hold many people and it was so improperly arranged and organized something at this point they should have figured out. I think a child could have organized this better and ran it smoothly. Way to ruin Easter Sunday!

Unbelievable! We did an offsite garden party, sitdown service, at my home for my daughter’s bridal shower. They handled EVERYTHING… table rentals, linen rentals, chef preparing meals, the best desserts(I wanted to know the bakery and their own chef/pastry chef made them), and servers that were one-step ahead of every possible request. Plus, the price was so inexpensive for what you get, I don’t know how they can do it. Food was made to order. I would highly recommend. One of the best experiences I have ever had running a party at my home.

I just had my Moms 50th birthday at the Spring Lake Manor and it was WONDERFUL!!! The establishment is beautiful, the food is delicious and working with John and Kristen was effortless. John and Kristen we more accommodating then I could have asked for. They answered every tedious question I had from the time I booked till the day of the party. They worked with me with colors, seating, DJ, food selection, drink selection, decoration, cakes, and so on and so on! I was able to go into the room and decorate it the day of and by the time I arrived that evening with my mom my guests were already having a great time. I had one friend ask me if the hors d’œuvre were the food for the evening because there was so much and it was so good she was full! When I told her no and pointed to the buffet she could not believe it. Before I booked the Spring Lake Manor I had done my shopping around for venues and to my surprise this was one of the most affordable. I suggest anyone who is looking to have any type of party make sure to look into Spring Lake Manor. I know that I will be planning many more events there! Thank you again John and Kristen for all of your help!

We have had several parties at our home during the summer months. John is amazing and the food is fantastic. We don’t have to do anything! John sends the tables, plates, chairs, linen tablecloths, utensils, napkins, glasses and amazing servers… Luke and Liz are incredible! 5 stars and highly recommend… My neighbors have used them too…

We were here recently for my bridal shower. I really had no interaction with John(the owner), however my sister reports that he was so accomodating! He was flexible with the minimum amount of people and was very accomodating when we had to change our minimum 2 days before the event and didnt even charge us for those people! He was so helpful throughout the process and we were really impressed with the quality of the food. It was high quality food, a sit down meal for 30 people at such a great price! We would highly recommend The Spring Lake Manor!

I got married in May 2007 — eloped to San Diego, CA. I was so pleased to have found a woman not into the whole big wedding hoopla — yeah, right… Although we eloped, she eventually decided she wanted a big wedding reception after we returned for her family to celebrate with us. So let the planning begin… After researching many places, many options, we settled on Spring Lake Manor for a July reception(07÷07÷07 — how clever), and after the dust settled, I have to admit, it turned out to be a great choice. The owner, John(if I remember his name correctly,) is an assertive and aggressive cat, but I can appreciate that bc he keeps you on point and makes sure NOTHING falls through the cracks. The price of this event cost me approx. $ 3k. I don’t know how steep that may seem to some of you, but I have to admit, I believe it was well worth it, even to a miserly individual such as myself. First, their normal minimum of people to serve is 100. The price is based on this head count. We only had 60 in our party, and John stepped outside the rules to accommodate us.(Thanks, John!) The price per head not only covers the ballroom for 5 – 6 hrs, the bridal sweet downstairs, and the meals, but also the champagne, the wedding cake, and an open bar for the duration of the event. Oh yeah, and my wife even got him to throw in the topiaries(hope I’m saying that right) for the tables too. The food was awesome and we were able to have a pre-tasting and were encouraged to bring up to 6 people for this, to help make our choices from the fairly wide selections of hors d’oeuvres to the actual meal. It was great service throughout, from the time we initially walked in to check out the place to the night we were leaving the reception. We were very pleased as well as our guests. One more thing to note, if you are stressed about your planning, check this place first. John has the hookup for anything you might want for your event — from limos to DJs to hotels, whatever, he can hook you up. I would recommend this place to anyone. Wedding, graduations, whatever… Correction, this whole deal cost me approx. $ 6k(I’ve been going through bank statements due to the upcoming divorce lol…) but I would still definitely recommend this place.
