Excellent chorizo and egg tacos; tacos were large. Highly recommend. Cost is low. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time.

New name is Taqueria Eva, and never went to the previous taqueria but this place is very good. Generous portions, good quality, still homemade tortillas

My husband just picked up some breakfast tacos(bacon, fajita beef & pork) all topped with eggs, potatoes, & refried beans & they were so yummy & filling! I would definitely try to add some tomatoes or avocado next time if it’s available but we will definitely be back! Very tasty & inexpensive makes it even better! Doesn’t help that we live close by.

I was in Houston for a meeting and have been craving a good breakfast burrito ever since I moved to Georgia a few months back. I was not disappointed. I had a chorizo, egg, potato & cheese burrito. There salsa verde was also very good.

I recently moved to the area and judged this place based on reviews and it didn’t go so well. We ordered chicken tacos and a steak burrito. Tacos $ 1.75 is a fairly high price for street tacos, but there was a lot of meat. Chicken was dry and had no flavor. A few onions and cilantro, but not enough for my liking. I had to add salt and 2 things of green salsa to get any flavor, but still couldn’t get by the dry chicken. Burrito $ 5.00 Very small Bland Came with meat, beans, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Green Salsa Good and not too spicy Red Salsa Hot Not my flavor I would not recommend this place.

Excellent. Certainly lived up to the hype. Tacos are now $ 1.75 though. Chicken on corn was Def the best out of the faj beef, barbacoa and grilled chicken. The blaring TV was a little distracting but we enjoyed being able to sit and people watch. Regular quesadilla was plenty to split between two kids. I could see how a cold beer or two would be perfect to wash these down with on a hot day. I guess you could grab one from gas station, as they don’t sell beer.

Just had 4 chicken fajita tacos for $ 8.00. Filling, seasoned right for great flavor plus homemade tortillas. Great place for a quick lunch. I hear the breakfast tacos are just as good.

It’s a taco truck, connected to a small patio, sitting next to a gas station. The tacos are $ 1.50 a pop, and a coke is $ 1. Homemade tortillas, meat, onion, cilantro, and hot salsa or salsa verde on the side. That’s the taco. And they are incredibly good. 5 stars says it all.

Authentic Mexican food from a food truck parked against a large covered porch. The tacos and gordita were pretty good. I particularly liked the chicken gordita(gordita de pollo). Has a cooler in the middle for drinks. Offers aguas refrescas during lunch(horchata). Nice lady working the truck. Good value. Located next to Valero.

Seriously, I’m shocked to find this place on Unilocal as I can’t get it to come up on Google. I’ve been eating here for breakfast almost every morning for the past 2 years and I’m addicted! Everything here is made fresh! Tortillas are fresh, all the stuffing is prepped and made to order in their trailer. I’ve seen this place grow right between the Valero gas station and that tiny car dealership for the past few years. Started off as just the trailer and now they have the roofed enclosure with tables and benches. When I first started coming here, I got their chicken and beef tacos for lunch. Tortilla was great, but the meat was so-so for an average taco. Then I started to come for breakfast and my perspective changed entirely. Whether it’s with chorizo, tocino, or jamon, you can’t lose! $ 1.50 per taco, this place is so full of win! I don’t think I’ve encountered any gringo here before, but despite the run-down hole-in-the-wall appearance, I feel very much at ease here. One of the girls there speaks fluent English, so don’t let language be a barrier. Anyway, back to the breakfast taco. The eggs and fillings are cooked fresh. Even when I bring the tacos back to work, it’s still piping hot! I used to get both the red and green salsas with lime. I find the red salsa to be a bit bitter. Lime seems unnecessary. The green salsas work so well with the breakfast tacos. They know me well enough now to just get me the green salsa. Stuff is like gold! Breakfast of champions! 5-stars easily!

1.50 delicious tacos on freshly made tortillas with fantastic salsa verde. Good stuff. Plus the covered seating is a nice upgrade from your typical taco truck. Pretty sure I keep getting a dollar gringo charge though.

The tortillas were made by them! everything tasted delicious! the only knock on themis the fact that they dont have a big selection on Aguas Frescas. Other than that they were pretty awesome!

This place is amazing. Screw places like Papasitos or On the Border. Those places are terrible. Get the real authentic FRESH stuff. And this taco stand’s stuff is as tasty as it will get! It doesn’t get much better. Be wary … Learn just a bit of restaurant Spanish before coming here. They don’t really speak English. The food will be well worth learning just that little bit to order what you want. I’m glad I stopped here on a whim. That whim led me to some of the best tacos I have ever had in my life. For those of you scared to stop at a taco stand because it «isn’t a real restaurant» … I guess you can stick to your«safe» Taco Bell tacos … Whatever those are.

Slowing down at the Steubner light, you see a new building next to the Valero gas station. From the car, it looks like a shack, but when you can finally see the front, you see a roofed, three-walled construct with picnic-style tables. On the sign, it simply says«Taqueria» and informs you that it has breakfast, and is open from 7 to 7. It looks odd. Maybe you’re intrigued and haven’t stepped in. No worries. I did. THIS is my story. I saw the taqueria on my way out to dinner, and knew I had to step in before I left to go back to my apartment. In Austin. I’m not one to be detracted by construction or aesthetics… I had a hankering that I’d get something authentic, and I was willing to look ridiculous to passing cars. I grabbed both my camera and my cousin at around 10 am and drove up(it’s less than a mile out from my parents’…not risking too much here). We were confused as to where to park, but settled for in front. Out front, there was a giant cowboy boot… and of course the sign. On closer inspection, the sign had a birdhouse in front of it. Behind were a collection of yard elements(for sale?) and a field populated with a few cows. Oh yes, Texas. To the left… VALERO. Once inside, there was a hanging menu listing all of the ingredients. Standard taco(breakfast and other) fare, all in Spanish. In that moment, I was so happy for my 3 years in high school. The kitchen was on the side, with a window to the seating area. If you looked inside, you could see all of the ingredients, and a couple of tortillas cooking. To my knowledge, it’s strictly tacos, but there are about 10 ingredients that can be combined for breakfast and about 15 for the other. EVERYTHINGISMADETOORDER, yes, that means the TORTILLAS. So, it might take 10 minutes, but it’s worth it. I ordered dos huevos y papa en maiz. My cousin got two egg and potato with chorizo on flour. YES I used my high school skillz. They spoke English, but still. While waiting, I took pictures and noticed they had a really groovy, glowing Mary statue. Drinks(ethnic + a couple of standards) were in a cooler… and they were also selling chicharrones, chips, and shelled peanuts. 4 tacos were 6 dollars. For me. Maybe it was higher because I’m a gringo, IDK. The customers were super friendly, they varied from random guy just out getting breakfast to construction worker on a bobcat who pulled right up to the entrance while still mounted for his takeout order(yes, you can call ahead). We also ran into the Assistant Manager of the Burger King. Pro tip: go where they go… it’s usually really really good. Now to the tacos: Tortillas– clearly fresh and amazing. Eggs, cooked well. Potatoes, a little salty. Salsa? Definitely a good kick. I liked it, my cousin had a breakdown. I don’t actually eat meat, so you’re on your own there… but really… kitchy setup, tasty tacos. Not the best location, but it gets noticed. The next time you pass it and think: «Weird.», do yourself a favor and come in for a great couple of fresh tacos. Did I mention the tortillas were amazing? Yes? The tortillas were amazing. You can thank me later. It’s okay.
