This is the first time we’ve dined here and we were very impressed! Everything was amazing! The bread, the stuffed mushrooms, cannelloni and chicken parm, were all awesome! As was the service. We will absolutely be back!

Better off at Olive Garden. Hasta La Pasta was dirty and the staff did not know what they were doing. My kids did not get a single refill till we were about to leave. Dirty plate and ransid tasting drinks. The staff refused to bring us extra bread for the kids and loudly cleared the table. The worst time in years, this place is a joke and the food is like low cost frozen food. I have had better pasta from Pizza Hut.

The Happiest of Birthdays for ALL!!! We just finished Celebrating 3 birthdays, ALL in our own family with a FANTASTIC Meal @ Hasta La Pasta. We were a party of 14 that got to HLP @ 11:30 on a Sunday, after calling ahead for a reservation. It was a pleasurable experience right away from the hostess to our Server Tiffany who took EXCELLENT care of a party this size. Our drinks never got too low & the bread baskets we’re always full! They have a wonderful lunch menu that is available on Sundays, which on its own is amazing! Our orders were taken timely, but Tiffany didn’t rush us. Food was delivered quickly and accurately without a single trip back to the kitchen for anything forgotten & was so delicious. Who says you can’t please all the people all the time?! Kudos to Crystal, the Manager and her wonderful team! It is quite evident that her attentiveness and customer care are being taught to each of her servers and support staff! We will CERTAINLY be back & will bring our Klein Girls Basketball Team to carb up before tough games! Thanks so much!

This place is my favorite Italian restaurant! The food is always delicious, the service has always been with a smile, and the price is reasonable. I love this place because not only do you get all of what I just wrote above, but because it’s beautifully decorated as well. I like that they have pocket doors in this restaurant because if you decide to have a very large party or maybe some kind of reception it makes it more private or intimate. It’s a family friendly restaurant, I’ve seen small children and yet it would still he great for a romantic little date(if you ask to be seated away from loud kids lol). Enjoy your meal!

Hasta la Pasta is a nice Italian restaurant with a quiet environment and good food. We order the to go deal of feed four for $ 40 and it’s a ton of food. The service is consistently good and the servers are nice. Their Caesar dressing is one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. It’s strange that the place is usually empty because we never have a bad experience.

I’ve been here about 5 – 6 times now during lunch only. I’ve always had really good service… a couple of EXCELLENT service experiences as well. The food has always been good too. I like the«perfect portion» for lunch. Nothing bad to review at all — so far. I didn’t give a 5 star review because I rate the stars from terrible — excellent. 4 stars(for me) being«good» which they are… but not quite excellent. I would and do continue to go back because it’s close to work and good but not my favorite Italian restaurant.

The pasta arribiata is delish. My husband had the de mare of the sea which was seasoned with lemon and olive oil. The atmosphere has a tuscan feeling with a neighborhood quality.

Heads up foodies, don’t miss this one! I love fish, so that is 99% of my protein. And, I am extremely fussy on quality. I hadn’t been to Hasta La Pasta for awhile. So, at lunch today I ordered their Salmon Sicily. Are you kidding me! It had to be at least 10oz., served on a bed of angel hair pasta with a butter(yes BUTTER) and lemon sauce with tons of capers. Fabulous fresh Caesar salad and warm yeast rolls=$ 13.00. Now I admit, I had a tad of their incredible Souverain Sauvignon Blanc(added to the $ 13 tab). And to top it off the GM Patrick Scott was kind enough to explain to me where they get their fish(remember, I’m high maintenance on my fish). When you go, ask for Lila to serve you an extraordinary lunch. She was perfect. With so many restaurants to choose from in our area, it’s helpful to get reviews on some of the best. You’re welcome!!!

Visiting from Arizona we came across this location by accident. Our daughter recognized the name from local reviews praising the quality food. So we tried it for lunch. From their exceptional menu we all made quick decisions which ranged from lasagna to the light and gourmet Perfect Portion selection which proved to be a truly perfect, delicious lunch choice. The Manager, and all his staff treated us royally finding we were first timers. He offered us a sample of his freshly prepared chocolate brownie creation made daily. It proved to be beyond belief delectable. This was a wonderful experience for all of us.

Two words: Cannelloni Pepe. Wow. Wow. Amazing. What is in this? So much for not finishing it! Also, their marinara tastes delicious. Friendly service *but* the downfall is that it was insanely slow. They seemed short-handed initially, but more waiters and waitresses came and our waitress was nowhere to be found. I’d will return because their food is pretty good. Ambiance is nice. Looking forward to the next time. Service needs improvement, however.

Where to begin!!! First — I’m a walking billboard of sorts. Being a mom to triplets, we seem to attract attention no matter where we go — so a spectacle is somewhat to be expected. Although, I’d genuinely love it if people would just allow my family to eat or visit in peace! I get I have multiples and you’ve never met someone with 3& would love to know how I did it, how I do it, all the ins and outs, and are dying for the juice — but honestly — you’re not privy, nor are you entitled! Please do me a huge favor and admire from a distance and leave my family be — or at least refrain from the interviews! Oh — one last thing — please do NOT touch my kids! I don’t know you, and for the life of me wash your hands! Ugh… We’re not circus animals! Sorry — got off track. Okay now to my review… it’s all relevant I promise! For the first time(today to be exact), I took my kids to this location to meet a fairly«new» friend for lunch. At least I hope after today’s fiasco that she still is! The parking lot was bare —(it was 1pm so I’m assuming we missed the lunch rush??) Great! My amazingly vocal two year olds won’t disturb any other patrons… Big plus. But before we can even step foot in the door — I’m greeted by a hostess — who very loudly I might add announces: «OMG! There’s 3! Are they yours, are they hers? Are they triplets!!! Can I take a photo??» Seriously??? NO. You. Cannot! Wow!(mistake number one) Mistake number two: focusing on my kids and asking very invasive questions instead of seating my soaking wet & hungry family/preggo friend — only to share that you yourself have triplets. Well — I hate to doubt anyone, but honestly if you did, surely need a lesson in MoM(mother of multiples) etiquette! Can we sit please??? I can’t imagine someone who has triplets — or multiples for that matter — could honestly NOT know that everything she did was totally inappropriate and invasive. I literally had to stop her and ask her for a booth to seat my kids. Never once did she ask if I needed high chairs or anything — I had to ASK for booster seats. Instead she focused on my kids… Exhausting and rude. Finally after getting the children settled — a waiter shows up to the table. However in the midst of him walking over — this unprofessional hostess, again proceeds to announce to the entire restaurant: «Look(whoever your name is)! There’s three! They’re triplets!» Jesus Christ lady — that’s been established already, now can we eat??? In peace? Nope. She keeps popping over the entire time and looking at my kids — very disturbing. The waiter? Mistake #3. Well he takes my order for my kids in which I had them split one chicken Alfredo dish amongst the three. I asked for extra chicken on the side and an order of broccoli to be mixed in. Never got the extra chicken, but paid for it and had to ask the waiter for the broccoli TWICE, to which his reply was«I forgot & I forgot again.» After getting the kids’ dish, he didn’t come back for quite some time and only after we asked for him & after having received the broccoli! Wow! His response again? «I was sidetracked.» I’m sorry — by WHO??? There’s one other table in here with people! WTH!!! At this point I’m tired, wet, hungry, and just plain pissed. We order and granted the dish(perfect portion & tomato basil soup) was rather delectable — I’m disgusted at this restaurant. I even order a lasagna to-go for my husband and it was just plain nasty. Old, flavorless, and not tasty. He just threw it away. By the time all was said and done, I was so happy to leave that place — my kids were starting to feed off my energy and we’re getting rather antsy. They didn’t care for the food either — and they Eat ALOT! Lol Personally — I won’t be going back. So Hasta… La Pasta! You’re no Bueno to me.

My friend & I were desperately craving for pasta. Our original place closes on Sundays, so Unilocaling for nearby places, we came upon Hasta La Pasta. It’s a cozy & sweet little place with great service & friendly faces. It was our first time here so we asked for the popular dishes. — Calamari(3⁄5): Decent. The batter fell off on most of the pieces so it wasn’t as appetizing. It was pretty bland but the sauces made up for that. — Salmon Sicily(3⁄5): The pasta was cooked perfectly & seasoned well. The salmon was plain & a bit dry. Despite the fact that I was starving, I often found myself just picking at my dish rather than wolfing it down. — Lasagna(2⁄5): HUGE portion which is a plus but the presentation was sloppy. The meat looked expired. The dish as a whole(as my friend described it) looked as though it’s just been heated up in a microwave after being refrigerated for so long. Sigh. It’s quite disappointing & wasn’t worth the money. Our waitress, however, was super sweet & attentive. All in all, we won’t be back.

Italians have a way of describing things: expressions that don’t easily translate into English, especially when certain dialects are used. As a child, I remember my Nana used an expression in Italian to describe the quality of fruits and vegetables that she’d sometimes find at the local market that roughly translated to «neither here nor there.» In essence, she was saying that the escarole or peaches(or whatever) were average; if there was nothing else available she’d perhaps make a purchase, but given other choices she’d pass it up. Hasta La Pasta reminded me of this because it, too, is «neither here nor there.» A very nicely arranged and decorated restaurant that has a pleasing ambience of music and adornments, my lunch companion and I were seated quickly. Few others were here for lunch on the day we went, so service was very attentive, albeit slightly clumsy at times. Our drink order was taken and quickly delivered along with a small platter of olive oil for dipping bread(which was to arrive shortly) while we perused the menu. Shortly after our order was taken, our warm«rolls» arrived. With extra virgin olive oil for dipping, I anxiously unwrapped the rolls, fully expecting a hard-crusted bread(a requisite for any Italian bread). I was disappointed when a basket of soft dinner-style rolls sat before me. I tasted one: rather average and not really anything resembling Italian bread(or at least Italian that I grew up eating). I had chosen the Soup and Sandwich Combo, which was a half Chicken Pesto sandwich and Tomato Basil soup(choice of two soups were offered). The soup was adequate; not the best I’ve had nor was it the worst. The sandwich was about the same: sufficient but certainly not delicious. Yes, Nana, «neither here nor there.» As I stated, service was acceptable and we tipped accordingly. Lunch was delivered in a reasonable amount of time with no undue waiting and parking is certainly ample. But the food served at this«Italian Grill»? Well, it’s «neither here nor there.» That’s probably the best way to explain it, but it would be so much more descriptive if my Nana were here to say it in Italian.
