As I was driving home I decided to check and see if any oil change shops were still open, fortunately some of the bigger names were, like Firestone. I was originally going there when I decided to look for somewhere on the north bound side (it’s just a tad more convenient).
Just walked in at 6:35ish, waited for a moment while the guy at the counter attended to the gentleman in front of me. I asked «how much for a synthetic oil change?», he replied «I just can’t do it now, I’m about to be out of here in 15 mins and I’ve got one more in front over there». I simply left.
I get it, it’s almost closing time but the hours clearly state that it’s open until 7pm & an oil change doesn’t take that long. I think it could’ve been delivered better… maybe.
Needless to say PepBoys is not on my list of places to go.

I recently just had brake service along with purchasing 4 new tires for my wife’s Ford Edge. I worked with Estive Acosta the Store Manager. I received exceptional customer service and a high level of professionalism. I live in Magnolia and could have chosen much closer options, but after speaking with Estive over the phone I knew I was taking my business here. Although Mr. Acosta was extremely busy on a Saturday morning, him and his team performed a high level of work on my vehicle in a very reasonable amount of time. Nothing short of an excellent experience! I would highly recommend this store to anyone I know!

I brought my vehicle to Pep Boys to get a second opinion after taking it to the Firestone down the street, and this Pep Boys provided me with excellent service and resolved my issues. They informed me that the information I was given at Firestone was inaccurate and provided me with a quote that was $ 600 less than Firestone. I have not had any issues with the vehicle since they completed the work two months ago. They were very transparent on what needed to be done on the car, and I will certainly be coming back to this location.

I made an appointment for an oil change and two new tires at 8am. I got there and they weren’t open. At least 5 customers were waiting outside in the rain with me. Finally someone shows up at 8:50 when they are supposed to open at 8am. Its now 10:12 and they pull my car around so I head up to pay. The guy ignores me and I see him get in my car and put it back in the repair area. He comes back in and says «oh yeah sorry we forgot to do the oil change.» I wonder if I’ll ever leave…

Made an appointment for a 10a alignment… get there at 9:50. I have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for another car to get worked on and finished in order for mine to be seen.
Appointments means nothing here! You get the next available time.
Even if I returned in an hour, if another car came before I returned I’d get the next available time.

Came in to get some work done to my car, as a single woman I don’t trust many places or many mechanics at all, but every time I come to pep boys they always take good care of me. The manager Estive is very helpful and knowledgeable about the services and products. My car has very high mileage which requires more maintenance and they make sure that my car is running great. Great customer service as well.

I’m sad that I couldn’t give them negative stars! They were rude, liars, and the guy that I spoke with stared at my chest the whole time. Will NEVER EVER go to another one.
