The Service department of Planet Lincoln is terrible. The closest other Lincoln dealer is Joe Meyers on Highway 290. Try them or anyone else. Twice I have taken my Navigator in for service. The first time I took it in, they took hours longer to do the work, without calling me to let me know they were over due. They also forgot to do one of the repairs. To top it off, the price at checkout was higher than quoted over the phone(which they corrected). My second trip was to have the work done that they skipped the first time. Unfortunately it’s work only a dealer can do. I made an 8 am appointment, was told my car would be ready around lunch time and left it with them. I called back at 1:15pm and was told they’d check on it and call me back in a few minutes. I called again at 3 pm(7 hours after dropping it off) and was told the Service department was backed up and they may not finish that day. All this for about 30 minutes worth of work. Clearly, this place is poorly run. Avoid it at all costs.

Rick is a very helpful person. Took my Lincoln MKS2010. Because my coil was burned out and thank god for my car being certified all I paid was $ 100. I’m a very happy customer. I’m glad I bought my car here. And yes I’m only 24 yrs old. But I love it

There has been some confusion on Unilocal,as two businesses share the same space, but are two dealerships separate from one another(in short, it is not Planet Ford Lincoln, just Planet Lincoln). This is for Planet Lincoln, which is far and above a superior dealership in every form and function from beginning to end, with a staff that treats you like a human being, and doesn’t pull the sleazy-dealer-pouncing-on-you from the moment you roll up. The only downside to Planet Lincoln is that you have to go through the Planet Ford area in your drive over, which means you can see the Planet Ford vultures sort of looking out the window at you in some sort of depraved«oh, please please please stop here» and you get the added satisfaction that you are driving over to the better dealership. Just make it past that, and you are good to go and this slight inconvenience ends as you pull to a professional, top-notch dealership. Luckily, I had a sales contact in Todd Yeats — who came recommended to me by my best friend from Texas A&M of nearly 20 years — turns out Todd is one of the top salesmen in the Planet Lincoln dealership(though everyone there is nice, friendly, and sharp as a tack and knows the product — which is testament to their General Manager who actually runs a tight, professional ship from what I saw). I had never bought a Lincoln. Ever. So let me qualify that first. I come from the Mercedes Benz side of the equation and decided that it had been some time since I owned American — at least a couple of decades. Having been through the gamut of German and Japanese, I felt that I(like Donald Trump) could Make America Great Again and in a spirited whim of jingoistic consumerism nostalgic fervor I busted out to Lincoln. I emailed in the necessary credit app, gave Todd the parameters as to payments sought, type of vehicle, colour, and functions needed in-car(Lincoln having some highly innovative tech that even Jaguar could learn some lessons from) and — voilá — in a few short hours on a very busy Saturday drove up and BAM he picked right. I didn’t need to spend hours and hours on the lot, he just made it easy, the first one he picked was it, and the paperwork was ready to rock and roll. This is how car buying should be in every form, and Planet Lincoln is the shining star of how you can marry great customer service, selection, and financing under one roof for a pleasant experience that gets you in and out. My time is far too precious to be burdened by annoying sales vultures whose only goal is to make their commission bonus. What I want is someone interested in my consumer needs and to find that solution that works for me in the parameters that I have set forward — and Planet Lincoln and their team makes it happen and sets the gold standard in the American luxury car market. Even through the Planet Lincoln Finance department — he was not pushy, he gave options that made sense and presented them in a manner that was wholly professional and not making you feel like you needed a shower after being in sleazeball territory. Everything about Planet Lincoln — from the cleanliness of the store, to its organization, to its professionalism, to its commitment to community(evident by their numerous accolades and trophies and letters of thanks from every local softball, baseball, football, and other assorted youth leagues and non-profits in the area) makes it a place you should visit. Moreso for those of you who, like me, wanted to try something different. They set the gold standard in the customer experience factor, and you leave with a smile on your face while you drive a car you love.
