Would have been nice to try their tacos but I had to wait 30 minutes for 4 tacos. I asked why it was taking so long and cashier blamed it on a printer. The fact was that they forgot about my order. They should tell you that you have to wait that long in the first place. I would never go back.

Gave it another try and it was still a disappointment. There weren’t very many people inside so I figured there wouldn’t be a 15 – 20 minute wait for two tacos… wrong! We waited at least that long and the food was a let down, as well. My husband had chorizo and it was very greasy. I had potato & egg which was very bland. They got our order right this time, but the food quality has slipped. A suggestion: add some lights to the dining area! We sat towards the back and it was very dark.

This place has changed over the years but nothing to make me stop coming, I ordered through the drive thru, which went much quicker than I expected. The tortillas were homemade as promised, and the beans were delicious. I love this place and I will drive out of my way to make a stop here

The food is good. Not a great place if you are vegetarian because they use lard in the beans. Very tasty though. The service was good, but the girl behind the counter had a bit of an attitude while we were ordering.

Today was the third visit in 2 weeks for breakfast tacos. We used to love this place, so this review is not easy. On all three recent visits, the the chorizo and egg tacos were dry, bland, no flavor or «redness» from the chorizo — and the tortillas doughy and tasteless. The red sauce seems watered down as well. Very disappointed but 3 strikes and I go somewhere else. They need to work on their customer service skills as well.

Tortilla’s are fresh, the basic bacon egg and cheese are exactly what i want. Drive through is convenient. Migas taco is very mushy.

The service is horrible! DONOT come on the weekends!!! My husband and I waited for an hour to get our three breakfast burritos. They were short staffed already then the cashier just left mid shift. She looked hungover and was not nice to the customers. In addition to the above they lost our ticket and started serving other customers! Had we not have checked again on the order we would have been waiting even longer. The only reason we are giving this place one star is because the food is made fresh and they are good! You need to step up your service!

The service is HORRIBLE! The ladies have ZERO personality and just an overall unpleasant attitude. You might want to think about getting people with happy attitudes.

Cute little shop in a convenient location, but I found the Chorizo to be super greasy :(

Decent breakfast tacos but the service is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I’m all for supporting small local businesses but when you treat the customers the way you do then it’s just easier to go elsewhere. I’d rather have decent food with better quality people at a fast food chain than to ever step foot back in your establishment.

THISIS A LUNCHPORTIONREVIEW: Stop in today for a quick lunch while we are moving into our new house. Bit strange set up and menu. But I feel that may have been my fault, since this place seems to be only a breakfast place. Had I known, definitely would have passed it up today. Since I was craving lunch and eggs did not seem appetizing. After seeing how cheap the flauta were I decided on that, but I didn’t know that it was just cheese. So to add chicken to them(which is the only way I was aware they were suppose to be made… since I grew up and went to school with 90% Hispanic population) it cost just under $ 4. But I was hungry so I did it. The chicken was good but the tortilla was soggy and very greasy. I also noticed that they inform us that they would ADD chicken to them, and not just sub chicken. But the inside had no cheese as they explained they would. However they did throw some cheese on top and lettuce. Another confusing thing is the«Enchilada Plate». The price also does not include meat, and its not a plate at all. just two enchiladas. The«lunch» part of this menu is bad. Plan and simple. It needs modifying, but the reason I still give three stars. Because I feel it may be my fault. I will definitely come back to try the breakfast Taquitos and post an updated review. I’m assuming(and super hopefully) they will be great! Hence the cute name of the restaurant. And the early hours(see photo).

People who want fast food should go get fast food. Sunrise Taquitos makes their food to order and of course it will take longer than usual, especially if it’s busy. It’s worth the wait. Love the breakfast Taquitos!

Food is fresh and excellent. Taquitos are filled just right with room to add lots of salsa if you’d like. Tortillas are A+. It is exactly what you would want after a night of drinking or if you really enjoy a solid Mexican breakfast plate. I purchased the barbacoa plate, 2 potato and egg breakfast taquitos, 1 bacon and egg breakfast taquito, and a side of refried beans all for about $ 16. Slightly pricey($ 1.89ish) taquitos but the price is in the delicious tortillas which I didn’t mind once I tasted them. The barbacoa is melt-in-your-mouth good. Refried beans are creamy. «Potatoes» are pretty much just chopped up French fries… but who doesn’t like French fries?! They gave me an abundance of red and green salsa which is delicious and not stupid spicy like some places do theirs. Gave it 4 stars only because the menu wasn’t working on Unilocal and I called to order ahead of time but just got the answering machine. I was hesitant about trying this place because the name«Sunrise Taquito» sounded like it was attached to a gas station. Rest assured(!) it is anything but. It is in a nice, new building. Very clean! I read a lot about the wait time. I did not order my food ahead of time, went through the drive-thru, and total time from order to food in hand was 6 minutes flat. This was on a Sunday around noon. I was pleasantly surprised after what I had read. I’m so glad I found a good breakfast taco place close to home!!!

All the reviews are true. This place has great breakfast tacos, but they will test to see how much you really want them. Be ready to wait ATLEAST20 minutes for your order. I usually call my order ahead of time, so I only have to wait 5 – 10 minutes, however I tried to call today and they’re phone when straight to an automated message.

Sunrise Taquito is the place to go for breakfast tacos!!! Everything is homemade and made to order. Because of this it takes significantly longer to get your food, especially if they are busy. Their food is well worth the wait. Their tortillas are fresh, and they also offer wheat options. The food is piping hot and freshly made, unlike Stripes across the street which has their food sitting around. Plus Stripes stop selling tacos much earlier. I usually get the bacon and egg taco, and add refried beans. It’s amazing!!! All the ingredients work well together, and are nicely seasoned with a variety of textures. The bacon is to DIE for! It’s crunchy but not burnt and they give you good sized chunks! There is a reason this place is always packed in the morning, and it is well worth it!

I’ve tried this place a few times but will not be going back. The wait is ridiculous, the employees are rude and they can’t seem to get the orders correct. The potatoes on my plate came out cold… like from the refrigerator cold. When I told the person working there she apologized and said she would bring another order… she never returned. Out of the 6 tacos we ordered with cheese, none of them had cheese on them and only 5 were brought out to us. We had to ask for the one they forgot and received attitude about it. It’s too bad because the food is actually good. This place is unorganized and needs help. I’d rather eat tacos from the gas station next door.

If I can give a negative star I would. Where do I begin… First the service is slow as you know what. Definitely do not come here if you are hungry. The food is mediocre and NOT worth the wait. They have been through several management, and it seems as if they have gone from bad to worse. Won’t be coming back.

I’m sorry, if you want a $ 2.00 taco in Spring you can’t get much better then this place. Their tortillas are homemade and you can really tell the difference. Soft, fluffy — they even give you a choice of whole wheat. Also they have two different sauces which they give you for free, I ‘m in love with the spicy verde. Their service may seem«slow» but what you are getting is quality, homemade food. If you want instantaneous — go to Taco bell. If you want to support a family owned business in our neighborhood, this is the place!

I’ve never been here in the early AM, I always walk in at around 8−9AM so I can’t vouch for the drive-thru. But this place has some great fresh breakfast tacos. I’ve tried everything from the Barbacoa to the Bean and cheese tacos. All their egg tacos are made to order so I love how I can tell them that I want my eggs a little runny. Maybe this is why the drive-thru can take a while. The barbacoa is not too greasy, but has tons of flavor. The salsas add the perfect amount of spice that are great with a hot coffee in the morning. Prices are decent for what they are serving, can’t compare a store front restaurant to a taco truck. Plus everything is spotless inside.
