I was I town visiting my friends who happen to live near beach bums. We decided to start our night here, but left shortly after arriving. They had awesome drink specials! Shots were like $ 1 the night we went. Our service was pretty slow and the place stunk like an ashtray. 4 non-smokers were definitely turned off by the smell alone. When I got home and checked my account I saw that they had over charged me about $ 15. I immediately called and disputed the charges with my bank and the funds were in my account within minutes. I don’t get down with shady business practices like that. For that reason alone, they don’t even the deserve the one star I had to give in order to even write this review.

Pros: staff and owner are very friendly, best prices on drinks in entire greater houston area, huge space, darts, pool, poker. Amazing food. Cons: i don’t live closer. Love this place! Great karaōke night and dj on weekends.

Pretty good bar. Free poker a few days per week with«the regulars» that play. Cheap beer, pool tables, darts, shuffle board table that slopes to the west a little bit, and one of those punching machines. Definitely worth frequenting if you live close and it’s convenient. Bartenders and owner are really cool and attentive. Last I checked, the good waitresses left and they hired some new ones that were… less than experienced in my opinion. Just keep your tab at the bar and go back for your drinks. You’ll get them faster and you won’t have to keep reminding them what you’re drinking every single time you order. Again, if you need a convenient place to hang out, it’s worth checking out a couple times.

I live in spring and have been at Beach bums quite offend. I remember when beach bums used to pack the house. Lately they have been rather dead and there isn’t much there to attract customers. The wait staff has been friendly and service has been mediocre. One night not too long ago, my wife and I had stopped in for a few beers on their poker night. Not one time during the whole night did a waitress serve us or speak to us. I had to go up to the bar to get served. I had also noticed a few of the poker players looking for a waitress and not getting served. The bar tender was an older man and he could not make more than one drink at a time and seemed to be struggling with the drink recipes. He acted frustrated that I was at the bar waiting to get served. We have not been back since.

Great local bar for those who live in Spring. Wednesday Steak Night is a great value. The bartender is awesome… very attentive and keep all of our different drinks straight. I’m impressed!

It’s okay. There are more old people then there used to be. Within the first 7 minutes of being here they played Avril Lavigne twice. Probably wont come back.

Terrible bar. The lighting and entire atmosphere is horrible. I got a headache almost immediately from how smokey the place was. The bad part about that is, there were only 14 people in the place. DONOTCOMEHEREFORANYREASON!!!

A sports bar with, beach theme, and an online jukebox where you can play the wide range of downloaded music. Being the easiest stop for an after work beer is mostly the reason a friend of mine and I return every week. The bartenders have sassy attitudes that make for a good bar conversation and they get your drinks to you quickly. I have never seen this bar very crowded, but there is so much seating area to to chose from that even on a busy night I would not worry. The pool tables do not appeal to either of the two of us, so I have never checked the price of playing or if it is free. Clean ladies bathroom with good lighting for fixin’ make up or hair on a drinking night out.

Driving aimlessly in a new town can be a bit nerve racking but then I saw Beach Bum and I was like, «Holy pound of shit! I have to go there!» Being from So Cal it jumped out at me. I was craving beer and seafood. The bartender Kathleen was awesome. She was kind and personable. The only thing lacking was a variety of munchies. I can understand if there’s no kitchen but at least carry snacks we can eat while we drink. Pretzels, peanuts, anything. Salty food makes you drink more beer. So, with out further ado. Pros — Friendly service, good beer, good hours Cons — Food only 1 night of the week, lack of munchies, small variety od sports to watch. Conclusion — If you’re looking for a good beer and that’s it, stop in. The atmosphere is welcoming and nice, just have a game plan is you’re hungry… and bring a DD.

The staff is friendly enough, but it’s a weird setup. The tvs don’t have much in the way of variety. Most are playing just one game. Then the rest have music videos with the bartender and server’s name running across in a loop. I think they cook once a week. Steak night. Other than that it’s just drinks. Prices seem resonable.
